Memory p7-1154. Am I wrong?

I want to verify that I have read the web page correctly. I have a p7-1154 that is 64-bit systems.  So this means that my computer can hold 16 GB of memory. Fix?   I now have 6 GB and try to understand the right parts to buy to update my computer.  Any advice?

I refer to page web http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02995511

Xavierbonnereau,

OK, your system has an operating system of Windows 7 64-bit and can support up to 16 GB of RAM as follows;

Dual channel memory architecture
Four DIMM DDR3 240-pin connectors
Supports DIMM DDR3 modules
PC3-10600 (1333 MHz)
PC3-12800 (1600 MHz)
PC3 14400 (1866 MHz)
Memory non - ECC, unbuffered
Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB DIMMS
Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
Supports up to 16 GB on 64 - bit systems

To install all the 16 GB will require the replacement of the current memory. It is strongly recommended to install 4 identical DIMMS in slots for the best configuration with the least problems. Please see Crucial.com for "compatible upgrades guarantee" for your computer, or you can buy memory components of it like Newegg.com, BestBuy, Fry or many other local retailers. Please note it will take two 8 GB upgrade kits to get your computer back to 16 GB.

Please send Bravo

  • difference in speed of upgrade memory P7-1154

    Hey there.

I am running the original 1333 MHz, 6 GB of RAM that came with this computer.  I am maxing out the RAM, in speed and size, this Christmas.  Yet, I am running in a quandry.  Information for my PC from the HP site says that my p7-1154 can take 1333 and 1600 1866 MHz for the RAM, but the 1866 MHz are listed as PC3 14400, although the real to 1866 x 8 multiplier is 15000, more or less... with only 1800 MHz multiplying to 14400.  I have two questions.  First of all, PC3 15000, 1866 MHz RAM will work in this machine, or is it mandatory to use only PC3 14400, 1866 MHz RAM?  Secondly, is it possible to ensure that any new 1866 MHz RAM I buy will run to 1866 MHz (I've met at least one person here who has my computer model even and new, faster than 1333 MHz RAM no were limited in speed to 1333 MHz)?

    Thanks for any response.

    -crys

Yes, to 1866 MHz, exact transfer rate is 14933⅓ or 14900.  Yes, 1866 MHz (PC3-14900) will work in your motherboad and no, it is not required that you install only memory PC3-14400 (1800 MHz). Although your motherboard and processor supports 1866 MHz memory your BIOS may limit the memory speed at default speed SPD 1333 MHz. OEM manufacturers like HP are not easy to use BIOS, I mean that you have will limit BIOS that does not allow the user to manually set the settings like overclocking the memory or CPU etc. So it's really a gamble. The memory will work but will run at low speed rather than the nominal amount of 1866 MHz. So, try either go with 1600 MHz or 1333 MHz. The speed difference is not noticeable that so stick to the speed lower is the best option IMO.

Good luck with the upgrade. Send us an update, how it will be if you go with memory 1866 MHz. Cheers, mate!

  • Memory twin on U840-10U

    Hi all

AFAIK the U840-10U has a 4 GB of DDR3 memory module memory (1600 MHz). It also has an extra plug for an additional memory module. Am I wrong?

This model has dual-channel memory technology? I mean, if I add a new additional 4 GB of DDR3 (1600 MHz) memory module, the computer would be able to access it at the same time? I'll make it through the Toshiba SAT official not to lose the warranty.

    Thank you in advance,

    Hello

    > As far as I know the U840-10U has a 4 GB of DDR3 memory module memory (1600 MHz). It also has an extra plug for an additional memory module. Am I wrong?
This seems to be the U840 supports two correct memory locations.
The device supports DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) SO-DIMM 4 GB and it support dual channel.

  • Digital Solver error HP50g

    Hello

When trying to solve the education I get an error message 'Bad Guess':

    0, 00000013608 * (X ^ 4-283, 15 ^ 4) + 14, 1324 *(X-283,15) ^ 1, 25 = 5, 144 *(723,15-X)

Is anyone known why I can't get X?

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you Bart dB, I realize that if I put an initial value on the solution, the Solver the correct X gives, if the value is lower, breaking up I guess.

For example: If you put X = 300 original you get the error message, but if you put X = 400 you get X = 323 543... and it's the right answer!

Furthermore, if you have already reached the right value X, you will get the correct value, no matter what you set X, but if you are serving the X value of the memory, you will get the wrong guess values less than the correct answer, as in the example above.

  • Satellite Pro A300 PSAG9C-01500Y - FSB question

Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on the modernization may be my new [Satellite Pro A300 PSAG9C-01500Y | http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en§ion=1&group=1&product=8270&p art = 8813 #spectop] a different model.

I do not use this system for games or anything like that, for most 2007 Office, web browsing, media and programs such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Nothing too high end.

My model has 800 MHz, but after looking at a few different models, I see that for $100 or more, I can get more speed FSB (1066 MHz) as the model [PSAG9C-01J00Y | http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en§ion=1&group=1&product=8270&p art = 9131 #spectop] which has a little faster CPU as well.

One of the things that I noticed also is the max for my system Ram is 8 GB and most of the others are only 4 GB. I will not use 64-bit windows, so it is not serious anyway.

Mainly, I would like to know if it is worth worrying about the FSB. I get how BSF works and what it does, I'm not sure if I need to worry about this.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

In your case, the speed of the FSB is not really important if you want to use your laptop only for Office 2007, web browsing or Web design.
The higher FSB is useful if you want to use the memory high performance with higher speed.
For example; you have bus 533 Mhz front and memory 800 MHz that was wrong with 800 Mhz memory modules because the lower FSB would slow the speed of the memory modules.

But as I said a higher FSB is not really important if you don t use the laptop for high end games.

  • SIT - error 14104

    Hi all

With Simulink Matlab r2008b, Win XP 32, Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express, Labview 8.6 and SIT 5.0.1 & when I try to run the SIT dll generated on my PXI system, I get the following error (see attachment). My model works in the simulation environment. The dll is located in the/or-rt/system /dossier and seems properly named. Finally, my model 182 KB, so it shouldn't be a memory problem. What's wrong?

The sit_error.txt gives me the following error:

"Log of error generated on 20-05-09 at 06:24
    14104 error occurred at TomModVue2_Driver.vi > NI_SIT_driversupportVIs.lvlibIT initialize Model.vi > NI_SIT_driversupportVIs.lvlibIT Init model DLL.vi

This error code is not set. No one has provided a description for this code, or you could have wired a number which is not an admission of error code error code. »

Of course, my model is named TomModVue2.dll.

    What's wrong?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi all

I manage my errors with the following steps.

First of all, I had proof that my dll has been altered through the following utility:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/0BF52E6FAC0BF9C286256EDB00015230?OpenDocument

I realized I was missing something related to kernel32.dll.

Instead of using the compiler of Visual Studio 2008 Express and, my favorite engineer NOR suggested me to try with the VS200Express and 2003 SDK, as explained on this article:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/AAD15283A1F051A1862574F000744DBD?OpenDocument

I downloaded the VS2005 from Softpedia, because haven't found on the Microsoft Web site. The SDK 2003 (standalone) is always available on the MS website:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=484269E2-3B89-47E3-8EB7-1F2BE6D7123A&displa...

So. Basically, that's all. I followed the instructions on the KB, and it worked!

If you use the processor that runs on 533 FSB (the Celeron and all Pentium Dual-Cores T2xxx) then your RAM will run on the 533 MHz as in chipsets intel mobile RAM speed will not exceed the FSB speed.

I was installing updates of windows and the computer is dead in the middle of it.  When I turned it back on it brought me to a blue screen with error codes: 0x0000007B (0x80399BB0 0 x 0000034 0x00000000 0x00000000).  It prompted me to do a system restore or to get to the system recovery, however it shows that there is no available restore points (even though I know that there are a bunch of them... because I checked this before I tried to make the updates of windows).  I went into the system recovery & the scan of my system with a scan of the additional memory, and there is nothing wrong with my real hardware.  The error recovery of the system that was given to me after the scan of my system is "a fix prevents the system to start.".  I looked at different positions in line with methods to get around this, but none of them does not seem to work.  Vssadmin does not appear on my system to try to use it again.

I also tried cela http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistarepair/thread/8b3e2550-c174-486f-b5dc-98260abc05f9, but as I mentioned before all my restore points have disappeared and when I try not to make method 4 there is no pending.xml file and these registry entries do not exist: HLKM\Offline Components\AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving, HKLM\Offline Components\PendingXmlIdentifier.

I'm almost done try all this and ready to make a fresh Windows... Install but I hate to really do this knowing that everything was working fine before all this & my hardware is fine... If I could just figure out how to get rid of this darn update all this hangs then all would be well.  Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Phatty

    Hello

When a computer dies in the middle of an update, it often corrupts many system files leaving no other choice than to reinstall. This is why it is always recommended that laptops/notebooks be connected when you install updates. If Windows was trying to replace a critical system file when the power is off, there are very little that you can do to fix it. If possible, start with a system for the Recovery Console disk and try running "sfc/scannow" to correct or replacement of the damaged system files, but does not satisfy, you are faced with a relocation.

Is Hi possible to print a test page of the engine from printers Laserjet 4600dn without the trainer Board?

(There is a button in one side of the printer... (No trainer & Firmware DIMM RAM card +)

    Thank you

    Sylvain

For an empty display, the first thing you want is a new firmware chip and the new chip memory because these are 2 parts more common that cause this problem. If you replace formatter without replacing these two elements, you can still have the same problem. Check the current dimm memory as it is the same as older computers, you can have one in your inventory of parts. I think that it used pc133 memory, but I could be wrong. The motor is controlled by the regulator of dc, where the test button of the engine on the dc controller. Trainer interacts with the dc controller but the engine will work without it.

  • Scratches in the pictures!

    Dear reader,

Recently, I recognized a problem in Lightroom 4 (on my MacBook Pro, Early 2011 - new version of Mac OS X).

I went through my photos, when I suddenly realized stripes across them. They have certainly not been there before! And now the number of photos destroyed gets more all the time.

The question is not just on my Mac. When I export the photos and watch them on another Mac scratches are still there.

Nobody knows what this might be or how to fix this.

    Thanks in advance

    Bernd

PS: An image with these stripes is attached.

    IMG_4356.jpg

It's very definitely a hardware problem. If the images were very well at some point in time and scratches appeared later, this indicates a problem in which your hard drive is going bad, or the memory of your computer goes wrong. If the images had these problems on day 1, then it could be either the previous or the camera card goes bad or the cable USB/card reader and USB port goes wrong.

    Hi Hussein

I have a question about this OPP java heap space.

Let's say I have 10 process allocated for the OPP and segment memory allocated to OPP is 1024 MB.

Q 1. Let's say 5 queries are run by 5 process OPP... So how this bunch of memory allocated?

is this something like heap space / number of applications being run by OPP (1024/5 in this case)

Q 2. Let's say that I filed 2 requests. A single application requires 800 MB of heap (based on the final races)
And second, it requires that 500 MB of space for the heap.

In this, we have java out of memory error? Am I wrong?

Q 3. Will, all applications submitted after after the test scenario 2 (2Q) encounter errors of memory, since the heap space was exhausted until the OPP bounced or full gc completed.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

    -Thanks in advance.
