• SQL Developer Data Modeling, no Option from Menu Design

  Using SQL Developer 3.0.04 Build HAND - 04.34 with maker of data. I have created a logical design and want to préconcevoir it to a relational model.
  
  I can't seem to find the option from Menu creation to use the > > engineer relational model option that is available under the design Menu on the version of stand-alone SQL Developer Data Modeler.
  
  Have checked the following locations:
  
  Tools-> Data Modeling
  Display Data-> shape
  File-> Data Modeling
  
  Right-click on my logical design
  
  I have this all of my entities have the engineer to a relational model valid property value.
  
  Is this a bug or am I missing a menu option / setting of the configuration?

  You can find "> engineer to relational Mode" button among the other buttons for logical diagram.

• If disappearing third-party JDBC drivers attempted to use Data Modeler

  Hi all

  I'm trying to reproduce the steps described in this blog post Oracle: https://blogs.oracle.com/datawarehousing/entry/oracle_sql_developer_data_modeler about the hive JDBC connectivity. Successfully, I can connect to hive and query the tables of the hive without problem. However, if I try to use Data Modeling (file-> Data Modeler-> import-> data dictionary), hive connectivity is not available any more back and goes to a third of drivers JDBC (via Tools-> Preferences) shows that there is no additional drivers listed (even if they had just be added and used successfully in the previous step).

  Thanks for reporting this.  I also see the question on 4.1.3.  Maybe add pots of third parties in respect of the database and Data Modeler preferences immunize you her.  Of course, this is a bug and should get connected.  It is best that you could do it through MOS from 4.1.3 is a production version.  In general, our team saves only bugs for the first versions of the adopter.

  Hello, I have generated diagram (relational model) entity in the Data Modeler and I want to export to image such as JPG, PNG or BMP format. How to do? I can't find any option for this.

  After some research and testing, I finally solved the problem. I did the following:

  I deleted the text value from my memory of java in the java Control Panel of windows,

  I deleted the 4.1.1. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\datamodeler\4.1.1 carpet

  I changed the memory to-Xmx2048m in datamodeler.conf in the datamodeler\datamodeler\bin folder

  then tried to start the Data Modeler but never value began, then reduced to-Xmx1024m and he began

  I checked the Objects.local file and it's there. then I closed the design without saving changes and ended Datamodeler application.

  Then I opened the Objects.local with Notepad ++ and I found and structure XML and the data that I wrote in my family business contact section has disappeared from the design

• Export file DDL in SQL Developer Data Modeler

  I export my last project of relational model of the DDL weeks in hopes of getting a quick and precise way to create my 17 tables. In the relational model, Cust_ID is the PK yet there is nothing indicating it in the script that is created from the export file DDL.  That's what he created.  Now, when I right click on the customer table in the view of the relational model and then choose Preview DDL, it adds the line of alter table. But when I do this for most of the opther whose phones table tables in the image below, it's just the fields, no PK or PK info. How can I get the PK and FK stand? Thank you, Peter

  Hi Peter,.

  A couple of points to check for definitions of key primary and missing foreign key:

  1. the relational model for the primary keys and foreign keys dialogs have both checkboxes 'Generate in DDL', which are normally set.  Make sure they are always defined.

  2. When you make a DDL generation, on the generation of DDL Options screen, select the PK tabs and UK and foreign key constraints and check the boxes 'Selected' for relevant pharmacokinetics and the FKs are defined.  (These settings are remembered from one generation of DDL to the other, and an overview of the DDL will normally use the same parameters as the most recent generation of DDL).

  When I run the newest data Modeler (4.0.0.833) without using SQL Developer, I don't have the ability to open a file from a previous session of the Modeler 3.x DMD.

  This new version requires the use of SQL Developer?  I like to use the Modeler as a stand-alone tool.

  I just found this post on a similar problem with Data Modeler 3.0: 30EA2 problem: Menu items is not available

  I suggest you try to delete or rename the file C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler\system4.0.0.833 (and when it asks if you want to migrate settings from a previous version, I suggest say you no).

  If this fails to solve the problem, you can also try to rename the folder parent C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeling (but this will also affect settings for previous versions of data Modeler you have).

• Data Modeler - compare models and DDL file

  I was the generation of DDL files by importing data dictionary. In the window to compare the models, the orange triangles with exclamation points show tables that are somehow different in the database and my data model.

• Why my option 'save for web' under the menu FILE has disappeared?

  I am a user of Photoshop CC. Regularly, I do updates and restart my computer after the updates are complete. I feel (because I compared it with others) that for some reason any under the menu 'FILE', 'Save for web' option is no longer available to me but it is for all other people, compared with. It didn't download right? Can I have a bug or something? Please help me solve this problem, as I have no idea what to do or if I even have a good download of PS CC. Thank you!

• Most of my files gone LR recently. I found them, but how to reincorporate them in LR?

  Note, I did not move the source files - there is no question where my files used to be. I just opened LR two days previously and found - to my horror - all but a handful of my files had disappeared.  I did a search of my files, and the first result was due for each individual photo counted 33 000 visits.  A search for "lightroom catalog" resulted in about 280 hits, which is a few records more that I actually had.  Another search for "lrc" resulted in 24 hits - which I guess is perhaps correct research, as most of my files were in only about 6 catalog entries.  In any case, assuming that the last result of research is that which needed me, how do their back in lightroom?

  Backup catalogs are (otherwise, you'd see no date). Find them in Solution Explorer and see if, in the folder level that exceeds the backups have a catalog file. Double-click that and Lightroom should open the correct catalog file.

You need to find the main real catalog file using 'open recent' or by copying one of the backup files on the catalog the high level and double clicking on that (when Lightroom is closed)

  I have two machines:

  iMac 27-inch with El Capitan, java version 1.8.0_60

  MacBook Pro 15 inch with El Capitan, java version 1.8.0_60

  I use Oracle SQL Data Modeling 4.1.1.888 in both entities.

  In the iMac, I can change the relationships on the relational model, but I can't select them visually in the macbook only through File Explorer.

  I'd appreciate a comment or an idea about this problem.

  There seems to be a problem with the retina display and the only way to get around for me was to install an app that changed the screen resolution.

  Once you change the resolution it looks a little bit fuzzy, but it's nice to be able to select the relationship.

• Problem in OPM Siebel data model import

  I use OPM 10.2 and havaing a question to import the Siebel data model in to OPM. I also have 10.2 Siebel connector, installed on the desktop.
  
  In OPM, I don't see the Siebel-> Import Data Model option in the menu.
  
  Y at - it no configuration changes that need to occur in OPM for this?

  1. make sure you have the Siebel 10.2.1 Oracel software delivery Cloud connector (formerly E-Devliery), there was a bug with the earlier 10.2 where the policy modeling Plugin did not work.

  2. make sure that the files Oracle.Modeling.Siebel.Exchange.dll, Oracle.Modeling.Siebel.Plugin.dll , there is the subdirectory Plugins Policy Modeling (default location C:\Program Files\Oracle\Policy Modeling\plugins)

  3. make sure that you use Policy Modeling 10.2

  If you manually copy the dll, they can be found in the download connector for siebel in the program files\Oracle\Policy Modeling\plugins\

• SQL Developer, Data Modeler, cannot print

  I can't print any logic or relationship patterns of the Data Modeler.
  I'm currently running SQL Developer 3.0.04 on a Windows 7 PC and my printer works fine.
  When I run the print menu, it shows the number of pages that must be printed OK, I invoke the impression, but blank pages are printed.
  The sequence of menu that I used is:
  File Data-> shape-> print-> print.
  Any suggestions would be helpful, please advise.
