menu fonts are missing

Opening FF fonts not displayed, or menus, or in the address bar, or anywhere else! It happened all of a sudden. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem continued.

Alternatively, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

My daughter used my canon rebel t4i and now some of my menu icons are missing.  She changed a certain setting and I wanted to erase all settings, well, this is not yet an option Please HELP!

I don't know if this is the problem, but if the unit is in automatic mode, taking the _out_ of the camera in this mode (for example using mode annual "M" is a good setting) on the mode dial.

The menus are pretty short if you are in fully automatic mode, so it can be that your choice of menu is hidden.

  • How do I know if all the fonts are missing after packing?

    Hello

Last week, I packed my InDesign files and sent to the printer, and he reported that he was missing a few fonts.

I found the fonts (it seems that I have about three files of fonts, to various libraries, including, moreover, a folder of fonts in my InDesign file which did not have a single melting inside!) and sent to them and that was very good.  Re-packed and it seems another two fonts are "missing".  Well I found them too in a Microsoft folder (also in Office for Mac 2015)... so that's very good.  But my question is this:

When I packed up the last time, I checked carefully to see if there is any lack of links, or any other problem.  And I didn't say that there is something to all the missing.  "0 errors", is what he says.  It is only when the printer got the files that he has noticed.

Is there a way for me to know, before you send the files packaged, anything missing?

    Thanks for any help,

    Malcolm

If you use InDesign CC and the printer has a copy of InDesign CC, they can load the Typekit fonts that you use on their copy.

However, no doubt they are just using this version as a backup, and if your PDF has been successfully created, they will print from that.

  • Why IDML fonts are missing.

I got files from an outside vendor.  They use a more recent version on InDesign as I packed the document and included the fonts.  I can't open the native file because it is a newer version that I have so I open the .idml file and all the fonts are missing.  They are located in a folder in the package but InDesign is not a link to them.  What I did research, they should automatically load fonts "paper only", but it doesn't seem to work.  I use a PC and I'm assuming they're using a Mac, this is the problem?  I use CS6.  I tried to move fonts to their file in the same folder as the file .idml and vice versa without a bit of luck.

Mac T1 fonts are unnecessary on PC - it recognizes them as fonts. One or the other of you need to replace the Windows Truetype or OpenType, versions that work on both platforms.

  • Open, save and then the fonts are missing

I get 5.5 clients InDesign files. I can open them, edit, make one as backup and close. When I immediately re - open the file, I get an error that most of the fonts are missing. I use Linotype Font Explorer X, v 1.2.3 and I understand that it is the most recent version. Can someone tell me why this is happening?

You are savingf to a different place? If customers are packaging the files for you, ID uses the fonts folder fonts of the Document without installing them, but if this file is not in the same place that the ID of the file won't.

  • How do I know which fonts are missing in a document of Photosohp CS5?

Hello!  I received a work of graphic designer.  I need to change some of the text in the document.  When I open the document, I get an error message:

Some text layers may need to be updated before they can be used for vector output.  You want to update these layers now?  [Update] [No]

If I click [Update] to replace the Myriad Pro police.  If I click on [No.] the text resembles the way the designer intended, but I have the question symbol triangle exclamation mark above the layer with the text.  If I try to edit the text I get another caveat:

Editing or rendering the text layer 'text' will cause the layout to change.  Continue?  [Cancel]  [OK]

The same behavior described above occurs.  If I click on [Cancel] I can not of course change the text.  If I click [OK], it changes the Myriad Pro police.

I want to determine what the police use the layer.  I'd swear that older versions of Photoshop tell me which fonts were missing when I open a document.  I can't use the text tool to select the text without changing the police.  Others spoke of using the text tool to look at the scrolling text to find a gray police indicating missing fonts.  I don't have that.  I have maybe 200 fonts.  Can someone tell me how to determine what a fonts. Using document PSD?  I prefer not not the designer of bug if possible.  Thank you very much!

  • Funds Typekit fonts are synchronized, but the fonts do not work

I am new to Adobe Creative Cloud services and immediately noticed that Typekit is hit or miss. I have no difficulty in sync on Typekit.com fonts, they show that synchronized in my CC Control Panel. Photoshop CC sometimes even recognize the missing fonts like typekit fonts on a PSD loading and ask if I want to update the missing fonts by Typekit fonts, I confirm that I am doing or generally try to use synchronized policies and it does not - fonts are missing. I restart Photoshop, I restart my computer, I try the same thing again and again. Sometimes he eventually works, but today it isn't. It's all very frustrating because access to Typekit was one of the main reasons that I decided to go on the cloud to create Adobe. Help, please!

    Hi sws234,

I'm sorry you troubles here. There are a few things we can check everything out right away to start debugging this:

-First, you try to log out of the creative cloud app and see if that fixes the problem?

-Could you try quit/restart the creative cloud application. This solves the problem?

-Could you try turning file and fonts Sync off under: Gear > Preferences > fonts. Wait a second, then turn it back on. See if the police/s appears and if not, try to synchronize again. If that fixes it?

-Could you tell me if you're on Windows/Mac OS X and version?

-Could check you the creative cloud application version you are using and let me know what version it is? This can be found under: Gear > Preferences > General > account

If none of those working, you can leave us a message at: [email protected] and we'll pick up there? We need some account information to continue troubleshooting.

    See you soon,.

  • Fonts I have installed in the font book are missing after the upgrade 10.11.6

I ran the upgrade recommended this morning at El Capitan 10.11.6 on my end 2011 MacBook Pro. A certain font was not available when I opened an Illustrator document, so I opened the font book to see why and found that hundreds of fonts, I entered the book of policies over the past year or more are missing. I know that real fonts are still in my police records, but a number of hours of work participated in their addition to the font book and organize them into folders. Is all the work is lost, where can I access the preferences that contain this information somehow? What a brake if not. Font book does not yet have all folders that I put in place, they are just empty and only the core system fonts are loaded.

Unless I can access the old prefs I guess I also install all my software again, to make sure that necessary fonts are loaded?

    Help!

Use your backup Time machine restore.

Your book plist police is located on via Finder > go > go to folder, copy and paste:

    ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.FontBook.plist
