  If your phone is upward, the first thing to try is a battery continuously:
  1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
  2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
  3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

  This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
  A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

  I asked about this in another thread (Windows Update crashes), but I want to start a new position of thought better. This problem is, I am sure, associated to the 12 April patch Tuesday update problems. In fact, I think that it was caused by something one of the technicians of MS has done in their attempt of pitiful to fix the mess created by MS. Before all this happened, I had to "give updates me for other Microsoft products when I update Windows" selected and was able to receive. After one of the technicians fooled with my computer, I noticed that this option is more obvious.

  To solve the problem of being able to check the updates of Windows, I installed KB3145739, as suggested in the above thread. That fixed the problem with the verification of these updates, but I can't find a solution to check the Office updates. This option is just gone. I tried the obvious fixes, but nothing works.

  I hope that someone might know what I can do as possible because the call from Microsoft is an absolute waste of time. They don't know what they are doing, nor do they even try to help. After just two hours of my life to keep with their magnificent support, I'm absolutely no help. It was as if I was talking to the air. Two different people could just not understand what I was talking about, any clarity, I explained. I'm so disgusted with Microsoft anymore - they don't really care about all the people who use their products. If anyone knows how I could check once more for the Office updates without having to uninstall and reinstall Office (don't even know if it would help)? Thank you.

  I just wanted to update. I finally found a solution and now have the opportunity to return to check the Office updates. I put the solution that I found in the thread (Windows Update crashes) when I initially asked on this subject.

  Edit > Menus... and check to see if the missing items are listed, and if they are, are they turned on?

  Try to reset the current workspace and try a different workspace and see if that makes a difference.

  Create a new user account and sign in with that. The stuff is still missing?

• Second installed hard drive is not seen by BIOS

  I have a computer "AMD A8 - 5500 3.2 GHz APU" - A8 Vision HP Pavilion

  BIOS v.7.10

  I installed a second SATA drive (a 3 to Seagate) and booted up the factory installed OS on the first SATA hard drive. The operating system has no problem see the car, so I installed a second operating system on a 700 GB partition on the second disk SATA. However, when I booted the system to complete the installation of the operating system, the BIOS could not see the second SATA drive. Start on the operating system on the first SATA hard drive, no problem, the operating system can see the second SATA drive. So, the problem occurs during startup. The BIOS will not see the second SATA drive.

  However, if I interrupt the BIOS at startup and go make a diagnosis (and I cancel that and not run the Diagnostics), all of a sudden, the BIOS can see the 2nd SATA drive and I can boot on it. Interrupt the normal BIOS boot and enter the setup of BIOS and then canceling, will be 100% of the time cause the BIOS to see the second SATA drive. If I do not do this, the BIOS did not see the other disk SATA 100% of the time. It is a real nuisance.

  I looked for a BIOS update version (assuming that it was a a bug is identified with a newer version of the BIOS), but can't seem to find anything.

  Does anyone know how to fix this?

  I don't think that it has nothing to do with the "Windows Boot Loader (Winload.exe or is)". However, I try and run a ' bcdedit/set {GUID} path \windows\system32\winload.exe"produces a non-Boot OS (even if I tried to use my current solution by interrupting the BIOS at startup).

  This is the current behavior that I see when I hit ESC to get into the BIOS setup (you have a window of less than 2 seconds to hit this key before the WIndows boot loader menu appears). The paths to the settings in the BIOS menu, followed by the parameters that I see are:

  * Start menu

  -Shows only SATA0

  * Computer Configuration > storage > Configuration of the device

  -Shows only SATA0

  * Computer Configuration > storage > boot order > Legacy Boot Sources

  -Shows only SATA0

  * Computer Configuration > storage > DPS self test

  -Displays SATA0 and SATA1?

  UPDATE:

  I just found the fix (HP devs should fix this bug so).

  SOLUTION:

  I did change the following BIOS:

  * Computer Configuration > storage > advanced > Power Options

  -POST time (in seconds) 5

  Parameters of a POSITION to delay (from the default of almost no delay at 5 seconds) solves the problem. In fact, if I wait 3-4 seconds late and then press the ESC key to enter the BIOS setup, everywhere I saw "Shows only SATA0" above before, is now showing SATA0 and SATA1. Everything is looking and working as I expect to. problem solved.

• XPRT: Adding a new contact add contact to ALL my accounts

  I just changed the XPRT so I hope that this issue is something that I just do bad. When I add a new contact on the phone, the contact is added to all my accounts (in this case 7 accounts), and each of them appears as a contact with 7 links. I don't see a place to specify the account to add contact when I'm creating, or when I try to change it.

  What I'm missing here? Is there a way to specify the account to add the contact to?

  Parameters. I think that you can choose which accounts get link and which are not.

• X 1 connection of carbon fingerprint reader problem

  I have 4 new (3444-2GU) carbons that I place with senior level executives.  I placed an already and fingerprint software will not allow a logon of domain.  I get an error message "the system logon is disabled for users in the domain.  That this computer is connected to a domain, you won't be able to log on by using the fingerprints until you enable it in the biometric devices Control Panel. »

  I have ThinkVantage PS version of the 5.9.7.7226 software installed and the biometric devices control panel run the TV public Service software.  All the boxes on the tab authentication parameters are controlled under the section of Windows authentication.  Successfully, I can start the laptop by a touch of finger with the active password power on and authenticate in the FP software by a touch of finger.

  The FP TouchChip coprocessor driver is version 1.5.0.328 from AuthenTec.  Fingerprint AuthenTec 5.9.7.7261 patch is also installed.  I deleted all the drivers and software and reinstalled through TVSU and it still does the same thing.

  I'm not able to find the magic switch for that to work, so I don't have to explain what that this weird button in search of thing that does not work.  Anyone has any ideas on this?

  With the last update the location and configuration of the speed dials were changed and more wrote the previous settings.  There are no shortcuts 17 application that are of low value because of the ease of the menu system, but takes parameters useful for speed phone dials that allow someone to be compatible with the laws of conduct.

  My questions:

  (1) can go back us to the previous settings (set speed dials)?

  (2) otherwise how can overwrite us parameters as it doesn't seem to be a way to edit application shortcuts.

  Figured out how to change the new speed dials.

  Press on the one you want to change.  While you're holding down, the Edit option is displayed on the right side of the screen.  Keep now and select the button change.  You then get a menu to reassign the button!

  Is not intuitive but it works.

  Hi all, I need to put a trunk between two SRW2048 connected via a fiber link, in order to leave a vlan to share between them.  My configuration is: switch A: - default untagged VLAN 1 - 10 of VLAN ID custom, named "wifi" - port 47-online fiber, defined as 'trunk', the two Vlan 1 and 10 are joined with the trunk - port 11: I want that he the VLAN 10, in order to see the 11 switch switch B: - by default without tag VLAN 1 - port custom VLAN ID 10 named "wifi" - port 48-online fiber, defined as 'trunk', the two Vlan 1 and 10 are joined with the trunk - port 11: I want the VLAN 10, to see the way 11 switch has tried to set the two port 11 mode "general", tag, joined only in VLAN 10, but I could not bind on the optical fiber.   Only, I was struggling with today myself. That's what I had to do to get the VLAN on the trunk ports between SRW2048 and a SLM2024. Make the port numbers to the top, but you get the idea.

  13-15 = port 3 VLAN, unidentified, mode = generally accept the type of weft = all, pvid 3

  40-43 = 2 port VLAN, unidentified, mode = generally accept the type of weft = all, pvid 2

  Port 47/48 = VLAN1, 2, 3 VLAN Trunk port = port should be vlan1, 2, 3 has joined to make you think it's the tag for 2.3 (check it, I'm 100% I added the and when I checked once again, they were gone.) "I think that changes to other environments will remove them?)
