  I was able to listen to music via the player windows media until recently, but now it comes up with an error message saying that the hardware is not working properly or is in use elsewhere. I experienced all the problems troubleshooting, verified that its not in use by another program etc and I tried to install my helmet (even if it is used to just plug and play without having to install any helmet), but still nothing. can anyone help with this please? • Windows Vista starts - Windows error message does not close properly

  Whenever I turn on my computer, I get a message that Windows did not close properly, even though I know that I went through the correct procedure when stopping down.  It started only in the last days.  I did not change my machine or installed / uninstalled something.

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Task Scheduler (Local)-> library of Task Scheduler-> Microsoft-> Windows-> Media Center-> MediaCenterRecoveryTask

  If this does not work, try this:

  1. open regedit by clicking on the start menu and type "regedit" in the search box and clicking on the link of the regedit program that opens.

  2. go in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

  3. click on the file --> export and save a copy of this portion of the registry where you can find later if you need IT.

  4 Note the values in the column of data to "ProgramFilesDir" and "ProgramFilesDir (x 86(). (If you have only one of those that, don't worry. I think that only users of Windows 64-bit will have both, but I don't know.)

  5. If you have a standard installation of Windows, the right for "ProgramFilesDir" column should read "C:\Program Files" and the right column for "ProgramFilesDir (x 86) ' should read"C:\Program Files (x 86)"." If they are not, try changing them to these values. To do this right click on the name in the left column and selecting Edit. Copy the 'correct' value of this message in the data value field in the box that opens. Click OK , and then do the same for the other (if you have two).

  a. restart the computer.

• Problems with my sound doesn't play not even though the settings say that the audio does not work properly

  recently I went on vacation... sound computer works very well before I left. Came back, and now the sound does not work.  I checked all the settings and it says everything is working. I've done some research and there was only one window to come when I rebooted that says a file with the extension dll is not found.  So I restored by computer back to before I left on vacation, but still no sound.  No pop up with the dll is not found though.  I went in the "maintenance" section and found it seems to be a few questions audio below is the scheme which is the filler. • Missing links in InDesign Cs4

  SO I read around this forum and have not found the answer I'm looking for.

  I'm not very familiar with InDesign. Ultimatly someone made a Web page for us and I want to be able to transfer it to Dreamweaver... which I am very familiar with.

  I have already designed file. All the files are on the local computer.

  The names of the missing links appears in the links Panel, you will find by window > links.

  If you really do not have the files, you will need to select in the links Panel and repeat, leader ID to the correct location.
