menu setting and condition in rtf model

Hello guys,.

I have a problem with the condition of xml .rtf for my
setting in the menu.

<? sum (COUNTY
[
(.. / P_TIME_2 = 2011)
]
) ? >

the above does not work. I was wondering if a clause of 'IN '.
or something is necessary, but I am not familiar with the syntax.

As I gave in my previous example, it should be

And xml, year_field and mySalaryCount should be at the same level.

  • Page break conditional on RTF model

    Hello

I have a RTF template for a report of invoice in which the first page has information from invoice header and the second page has details of invoice information that can print on more than 1 page at run time.
It is a synthesis report and so will feel both for invoices and printed on both sides of the paper.

Question: New Bill starts on the back of the previous invoice details. Lets say Bill was printed on page 1, page 2 and page 3 and therefore the Bill B will start printing on page 4. Instead, it should display on page 5.

Therefore, my requirement is to always start the new invoice on an odd page.

  • RTF model and parameters

    Hello

I am a new user of ad BI and I had a few problems.
I'm trying to insert the parameters in my RTF model to list only the project I want.

I made my request SQL two lists of values, one for the project and another for the Department.
My RTF is to show me, for a project and a Department, a list of the people who work there.
So, for now I am able to view a list of each project and the Department with users, but I can't chose just one project.

I saw on several thread I should use <? parameters@begin:RELPARENT? > and so when I want to use it I have to write <? $RELPARENT? >.
Could you help me and give me some tips like where I put my settings start or things like that.

    Here's my RTF model structure.

    Group of LINES by RELPARENT
project: 'RELPARENT'-> projects I want to show only
    ASGNROLE group
role: 'ASGNROLE'-> departments I want to show only
    Record name
    F REVNAME FRSTNAME LASTNAME E
    completed by ASGNROLE
    end of LINE by RELPARENT

Here is my request on Bi Publisher:

    SELECT distinct VTMM_PERSON. LASTNAME,
    VTMM_PERSON. FRSTNAME,
    VTMM_STAFF. RELPARENT,
    VTMM_PERSON. REVNAME,
    VTMM_STAFF. ASGNROLE
    TO THINK. VTMM_STAFF, THINK. VTMM_PERSON
    WHERE (VTMM_PERSON. REVNAME = VTMM_STAFF. RELCHILD)
and not (VTMM_STAFF. RELPARENT = 'Society')
and not (VTMM_STAFF. ASGNROLE = 'SysAdm')

Here is my request for a single list

    SELECT distinct VTMM_STAFF. RELPARENT
    TO THINK. VTMM_STAFF
    WHERE (VTMM_STAFF. RELPARENT! = 'Company')

    Hello

If you try to get the user to pass a parameter which will then limit the resutls in the output, you can use a parameter in the SQL for example (assuming that relparent and asgnrole are the columns, you should limit by):

    SELECT distinct VTMM_PERSON. LASTNAME,
    VTMM_PERSON. FRSTNAME,
    VTMM_STAFF. RELPARENT,
    VTMM_PERSON. REVNAME,
    VTMM_STAFF. ASGNROLE
    TO THINK. VTMM_STAFF, THINK. VTMM_PERSON
    WHERE (VTMM_PERSON. REVNAME = VTMM_STAFF. RELCHILD)
    and VTMM_STAFF. RELPARENT =: RELPARENT
    and VTMM_STAFF. ASGNROLE =: ASGNROLE

You can then create two parameters in the definition of BI Publisher report called RELPARENT and ASGNROLE, create LOVs for them (sounds like you already have) and there you go. When the user selects the parameters, they are replaced in the SQL and you get limited results.

You can also add a specific logic of db around settings to handle NULL values so that you get all values when a setting is selected.

    Kind regards

    Matt

  • He must add the condition to a model and cannot do this work.

I am trying to add a condition to a model and cannot operate. Mainly because I'm new to this. I have a domain that needs to have a defined condition. The field is Ltd. The maximum value is $233,00. If the amount is less than the 233, this value is used. If it is more than 233 233 is used. If LTD. is bigger than 233.00 Ltd else then 233.00

Can someone help me to write this, for a Word of Publisher BI model. I need this report now, but can't go to class until later this year.

    Thank you

    Hello

    change your main loop shape

This will create a new page with a section break for each change in 'Scheck. You can remove your split sentence of page break.

  • Insert Image into RTF model under condition

An image can be inserted into a RTF model using an If-Then statement? Like this:

    <? If: field1 = 'IMAGE1', 'insert an IMAGE1' else 'insert an IMAGE2 "? >

If it is possible what syntax should be where the example says "insert an IMAGE1"? The images are jpg files that exist on a local PC, but the model runs on a Unix machine.

Is there a way to do this? Thank you very much.

  • RTF model: If condition to test the XML tag exists only on the current XML node

    Hello

I have a RICH model based on an XML file as follows:
    + < invoice > +.
    + < InvoiceNum >... < / InvoiceNum > +.
    + < ShipAddress >... < / ShipAddress > +.
    + < order > +.
    + < OrderNum >... < / OrderNum > +.
    + < ShipAddress >... < / ShipAddress > +.
    + < / order > +.
    + < order > +.
    + < OrderNum >... < / OrderNum > +.
    + < ShipAddress >... < / ShipAddress > +.
    + < / order > +.
    + < / invoice > +.

As you can see, the tag * < ShipAddress > * there are two
    -Sub * < invoice > * = > global shipping address
-Sub * < Order > * = > shipping address to you for Sales Order

In an XML file, I can only have < ShipAddress > at a certain level, for example
-the tag * < invoice > < ShipAddress > * appear in XML that if we have a unique address for the invoice
-the tag * < order > < ShipAddress > * appear in XML that if we have more than one address for the invoice

Logically, in my RTF model, I want to print the address of delivery at the level if one header tag * < invoice > < ShipAddress > * is in XML format.
I tried a lot of syntax If but none works according to the needs:
    + <? If.: / ShipAddress? > + = > always returns FALSE
    + <? If: / / ShipAddress? > = > returns TRUE when < order > < ShipAddress > exists
    + <? If: ShipAddress? > = > returns TRUE when < order > < ShipAddress > exists

The only syntax that seems to work is:
    + <? If: / / Bill/ShipAddress? > +.
But I prefer not not hardocde the name of the top-level tag.

    Question:
What si syntax to test the existence of a XML tag only in the current node (recursively)?

Thanks in advance for helping me.

xdoxslt sum allows us to avoid the issue while fields sum with the value null. as you already now the condition with the field u do not need xdoxslt

    is - enough try this

you are able to get a preview of the template with the code of the sum.

Send me your model and xml. I can try at my side

  • Change the parameter value in RTF model

    Hello
Sorry if possible change a setting value of RTF model?
    Thank you for the ideas!

Why can't use you the variable xdoxslt changed for her?
Initialize the variable with a value of parameter.
Reset the condition variable and use it.
