  I'm working on a book.  The book is in a Word format.  I'm taking the text and the porter in InDesign with page after page being connected. There are 73 pages in total of pure copy once worn on in.  Now I go and put the media in the text.  I have two basic model master drawings that I use according to the content referred to this in the text.  Example is that Master model has a white background, master model B, which has a black background.

  Given that the book is alternating between the models based on the content on the page pages could look like this:

  Page 1: Model has

  Page 2: Model has

  Page 3: Model B

  Page 4: Model has

  and so on.  I have a question about the page breaking.  I want to always keep the content on page 3 on a main B template background.

  However, if I add more content to A, or if I use a page break, the content on all subsequent pages is pushed down (all pages are linked).  So if I jump from Page 1 page, my page B content is pushed on a background model.  It is obviously not what I wanted.  Should there be another function outside of page break should I use to put the separaters?  How can I ensure my content on page 3 remains on a background of the B model?

  Currently, your text is threaded into a continuous narrative. When you add the new text in the Middle, everything after this point will move. To avoid that you should break the text into separate stories for CCE content type.

  I have a requirement to display the page number in a pdf output (from rtf model) in the following format
  
  Let's say I have 5 pages of generated pdf rtf model report
  
  where the page number must be in the following format
  
  Page 1-> 1
  
  Page 2-> 0
  
  page3-> 0
  
  page4-> 0
  
  page5-> 2
  
  
  I tried with the page break option in rtf models. But luck favors not... Please help me

  Hi, I am also looking similar requirements.

  My requirement is:

  If the result is only a single page, page needs 2.

  If the output is more than one page, 1st page has display 1 and 2nd page display 2.

  If the output is more than 2 pages, 1st page has display 1, 2nd page display 0 and page 3 2.

  If the output is more than 3 pages, 1st page--> 1,
  2nd page--> 0,
  3rd page--> 0,
  and the last page--> 2

  This menas if the output is more than 3 pages, then 1 page 1, page 2, all means pages 0.

  can anyone help on this requirement.

  I have to solve some problems in a model RTF for the invoice report developed by someone else.
  The preview works fine with a page break correct for each invoice, but when the model is uploaded to the publication server Oracle XML report output is not the right page break.
  In this case, the new Bill begins in the middle of the page.
  
  Also the I do not understand how the page break works in preview, even when there is no code for the page break on the template (like <? split-of-page-break:? >)
  
  Please help me solve the problem.

  xml is generated data for the input you have given. the error is because if the generated XML has no data and you don't manage any data found in your model you will get this kind of error.

  try to attach the old model and example of model i gave and click view output for both models and see that you receive same error?

  My report model is a RTF document. My type of report output is RTF.
  
  In my model, I want a page break, but with the release of the report is generated BEEP seems to be converting my page break in a "section break (Next Page).
  
  This causes problems with my headers of documents making them based section, then a change in the header at the top of the page by the user is not translated below.
  
  I tried to use the Menu of MS Word > insert > Page Break as MS Word Menu > paragraph properties > combos > Page break before in both the RTF output has a "Section break (Next Page)" instead of the desired hard page break.
  
  Y at - it a setting I should change to prevent that from happening? am I wrong to insert my page breaks?

  Bills are created based on the Word RTF with BI Publisher files. Resulting file is a large PDF file, that has a lot of pages.
  Word RTF model is bundled in field BILLS.ID with the page break option. Thus, a BILLS.ID group can have one or several pages (according to the data).
  
  How to create the model RTF (for generation of PDF BI Publisher) with reset page numbers when changing the value of consolidation.
  Page numbers are at the bottom of the page in the format
  curr_group_page/total_group_pages
  where:
  -curr_group_page is the number of the current page group (defined with the BILLS.ID field),
  -total_group_pages is the total number of pages in a group (defined with the BILLS.ID field).
  
  I need to reset the numbering at each change of BILLS.ID (Group).
  Example:
  ID = 1 (4 pages)
  1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4
  ID = 2 (1 pages)
  1/1
  ID = 3 (2 pages)
  1/2, 2/2
  ID = 4 (3 pages)
  1/3, 2/3, 3/3

  I have an rtf template where I used a title in the header section. This repeats outputs in PDF and RTF. But output Excel it is not repeated.

  AFAIK, you can't repeat the page output to Excel headers using RTF model.

  Excel page headers can be repeated for each page using Excel template.

  I have a XML template that contains about 10 pages of reports. I find that when I preview the content model reporter to the next page, causing the return with data report in the middle of the following pages.
  Some of the report templates contain loops that return multiple lines, but this affects the position of the data on the pages following.

  IF I have different types of customers(corporate,individual,etc..) passed as parameters, can, a particular cell be formatted with different colors for different customers. for example, if the setting is undertaken client the the color of a particular cell should be RED in color, and if the parameter is the color of the cell must be GREEN in color.

• BI Publisher RTF model - fill a cell with a group without line breaks for each element

  I have a fairly rigid rtf model with multiple cells. A cell in particular just display a value of a single group.

  I want to display all the values of group in the cell, but instead of display each value on a new line of the

  cell and cell resizing, I need a way to repeat the values (we hope) without resizing the cell.

  Thus, for example, given a simple group such as < GROUP > < VALUE > where the GROUP contains the VALUES 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

  a normal <?-foreach: GROUP? > <? VALUE? > <? end foreach? > product

  What I would like is to be able to output the following (assume the slot size cell is not resized one appears exactly as it does in the rtf)

  The tricky part is that I'd love to be able to have the text wrapping, once he arrives at the edge of the cell. Is there a simple way to do this?
