Merge chapters in one I

I inherited an InDesign book with several chapters I want to merge into a single User.ID file, not a book. When I try to drag and drop using the dialog Pages it creates a different layout in the target document. I don't want no more than a page layout in the merged document. I want just an ID doc with a page layout. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Scott:

  1. Go to the first page of the alternative layout and note the small triangle above the first thumbnail, indicating a restart of numbering.
  2. Choose numbering & Sections in the Pages panel menu.
  3. Uncheck "start the Section.

Other layouts are a few sections in the existing document.

    Thanks for the information!   It seems that the problem here is that 4882 version that you reference depends on version 2.0 of the common Assembly .NET, while the version done VISA refers to version 3.5.  TOFIX this, you need is will reference a more recent version of the Assembly 488.2 (recommended) or an earlier version of the assembly VISA.  If you install the latest version of NOR-488. 2, you will be able to reference the most recent assembly, allowing you to successfully run your application with the most recent common Assembly.

    Here's the scenario that we have right now and would appreciate any guidance:

    Several months ago in our Test of 11 g server, we have updated our catalog production of 10 g and 11 g and have been developing and proofreading of dashboards in this Test of 11 g server.

    Now, we are ready to go to production with our changes in 11g. What is the proper way to merge the catalog so that in the end, I'll have a catalogue of Production 11 g with my updated dashboards updated 11g, but we have personal content to users of 10 g?

    Specifically, my question/concerns are:

    1 - can I use 11g server catalog as a Test base and then move the copy and the current catalog of 10 g and paste the folder/root/users in 11 g server catalog by using Catalog Manager Test?

    or

    Should I use the catalog of improved production 10 g as basic and then copy and paste into the/root/shared folder from the catalog server Test 11 g using Catalog manager?

    2. what system/root/folder? Can I keep the 10 g/system upgraded or folder / 11 g test system?

    This approach,

    1. upgrade of the existing catalogue of prod to 11 g

    2. open the test catalog in Catalog Manager

    3. Select the folder that has the new reports, goto file-> archive and save the file to archive

    4. open the catalogue prod upgraded, select the folder-> file-> Unarchive and select the archived file

    5 deploy this catalogue to the dev or test environment and verify the changes.

    Wat is your point of view?

    During the id_merge comparison, it looks like you want 2 rows to match when the id_merge, m1 = m2, id) merge OR when one is NULL, regardless of whether the other is NULL or neither.  Is that what you want?  (I don't see anything above about in this thread.)

    If so, what you posted should work, but there are easier ways to do what you do online 09 above.  For example:

    SELECT m1.idm

    m2.idm AS dup_key

    COUNT AS dup_num (*) OVER (PARTITION BY m1.idm)

    Hey friends! We you handle a difficult series of photos and moved everything to an external hard drive. Without thinking, I opened and made changes to a picture folder on our main computer and then later on changes in another folder of images in the catalog of external hard drive file.

    I would like to merge everything into one place without losing any changes for our two separate records of more recent images. Is there an easy way to do this?

    On the external drive, open the LR catalog, select the folder of interest, right-click on the file and choose export this folder as a catalogue...

    On the internal disk, open the Lightroom Catalog, select file-> import from another catalog and select the catalog that you created from the external drive.

    When you merge several PDF Acrobat DC creates bookmarks for each original file but the bookmarks different as standard bookmarks, you can create by clicking on 'Add bookmark' in the navigation bar.

    When you add other documents that already merged, the look of the modification of bookmars for the newly merged to the standard pdf looks like.

    As shown in the picture below, the first 4 documents have been merged in a single step with the merge tool and one more has been added with the "Page management" tool

    Whatever it is, you need the string aggregation . See this page from the Oracle Base for several ways to do so. Since you have Oracle 10 and because the order is not important, I recommend so the aggregate function defined by the user, called STRING_AGG on that page, but the STRAGG called by most of the people who actually use it. Once you have created the STRAGG, you can use it like this:

    iPhoto has no tools to search for duplicates.

    You can use iPhoto Library Manager tis earch duplicates and merge libraries into one.  If you do not yet have iPhoto Library manager, you can wait with double search until you have migrated photo libraries and the use of pictures of power instead. Photos of power is the successor of iPhoto Library Manager for Photos.
