  I am running CS4 on a Mac mini to 2014 with Yosemite. I've worked on enough large photoshop documents Save as ".psb" and ".psd". My Illustrator will not open these files as well as TIFF or photoshop RAW and I am unable to export them to PDF in photoshop because they are so big. I do not have the opportunity to downgrade my OS to Mavrick and also cannot afford CC everyone found a way to solve the plugins for photoshop documents open in illustrator?

  It doesn't sound like it's automatic numbering due to several work plans. Unfortunately, there are only a few options... to rename the files of the operating system, use 1 plan of work per file.

  I just tested the behavior in CS5, CS6 and CC and it's the same thing. If you check 'Use work plans', you'll get automatic numbering.

• Illustrator CS4 PSD files import problem

  I suddenly have trouble cleaning importing Illustrator CS4 files in Photoshop CS4.  I use these products for years and have done this hundreds of times without difficulty.  But all of a sudden, the resulting files are not smoothed.

  Illustrator files are saved with the PDF compatibility option checked.  I tried to place them (and by engaging - I know they're looking bad but clean after validation) and I tried to paste from Illustrator.  Not here are the relatively simple files with no font - text only - and no transparency or effects.  I also tried to save as EPS files, but without success.  I took to export PNG since Illustrator files and import that.

  I'm short on a recent Mac tower with a lot of everything.  OS x 10.6.7 and everything is up-to-date.  Adobe Creative Suite CS4.

  Could something has been corrupted?  Something might be interfering?  Is there a setting preference-"Import Illustrator files nicely" which must be marketed?

  When you place an EPS, PDF file or HAVE - there is an option in the options toolbar that says "smoothing". Make sure it's on.

  If you open a file in EPS, PDF or AI - there is a checkbox in the first dialog box that asks you the page number, resolution, etc. that says 'Anti-Aliasing (in the Page Options group). Make sure it's on.

  I have Illustrator CS4 file as a .pdf file.

  I have open in Acrobat 7.1.4 Standard and add a cover sheet.

  If I reopen it the .pdf file in Illustrator file has lost its layers.

  This does not happen if I do not add a 2nd page in Acrobat.

  However Acrobat 7 always shows the layers in the layer tab and has an icon of cake saying "this document contains layers" but Illustrator does not pick up the layers.

  Is there a setting in 14.0.0 Illustrator that prevents this flattening?

  It is actually logical - by adding a page you edit or destroy the custom data section that contains native data to HAVE and cause Acrobat to rewrite the internal structure of all. Without doubt, there should be a smart way to deal with this, especioally, since many applications Adobe uses this method to store the modified data in PDF files, but it really seems to work as expected...

  It seems that the file has been damaged.

  Try to create a document and by placing the file inside (after checking the paste remembers layers in the layers Panel dialog box) and know how much can be saved like that.

  You should be able to assess the amount of damage by the size of the file before and after.

  You can create a new document with tasks defined in CMYK profile and save it here:

  /Users/ [username] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator 19 / fr_FR / New Document profiles

  Why would you do that, though? The laboratory is the best way to represent a blot of ink, if you print with the tones, and if you're not, it is best to not use them.

  I created a series of default documents or the master documents which have sizes registered as master spreads.

  for example: document master "PR" has all the formats associated with ROP registered in the master spread.

  If you want to add fonts to any program in windows install you from the police records, or if you want them availble for only Adobe programs, coppy to common communs\Adobe\Fonts

  You try to open a document to a newer version?

  If so, you should get a downsaved version instead. Even if it was saved with PDF compatibility you'd lose probably important editability.

  The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

  5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

  Even worse, you can:

  (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  If this is an upgrade, you must the cs4 and the serial number of versions eligible.

  Make sure you use the correct installation file that corresponds to your serial number, error: "serial number is not valid for this product". Adobe Creative Suite

  You should review the new Document profile, you use the most. It is just a file AI that you can modify as you wish and save for future use.
