Message already running Firefox isn't true after the new installation
Updated Firefox, I moved by mistake my old profile to my office to save it in case something went wrong. When you try to put it back where I won, I forgot what file it came and went to where I thought he was coming and found that a new profile was. Error message indicates two browsers can not be opened at the same time. Cannot disable the FFX browser because it appears not as open. I have trashed all labled find Firefox using the apple and then tried to install a new copy uploaded. Always gets the same message that if the newly downloaded copy is already running.
tried an another clean install. This time it worked fine

Hi all
After the new installation of the WCC 11.1.1.8 on Microsoft server 2008 R2 SP1 64-bit UCM_server1 EE cannot start. (Please see trace below). WCC 11.1.1.7 work fine in this environment.
Steps to follow:
1. installation of jrockit - jdk1.6.0_45 - R28.2.7 - 4.1.0
2. installation of WLS 10.3.6
3. installation of the WCC 11.1.1.8
4 creating the UCR 11.1.1.8 schema
5. creation of field of config.cmd with AdminServer, UCM_server1, IBR_server1
6. run Admin - (success)
7 run (optional) NodeManager - (success)
8 run UCM_server1 - failed
Still not work after having patched MLR 1 for WCC 11.1.1.8 or upgrade 11.1.1.7.
Log files we can see this problem caused by the JniNativeOsUtils.dll file in ' < Middleware Home > \Oracle_ECM1\ucm\idc\components\NativeOsUtils\lib\windows-amd64\7.2.1.1.
I have replaced JniNativeOsUtils.dll with the same 11.1.1.7 file version and UCM_server1 started working
I got errors when starting (syNativeOsUtilsNotLoaded and UnsatisfiedLinkError - you can raise in trace below), but COE upward and the works.
I also get error when you try to start the utility SystemProperties or ComponentWithard:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Oracle\MIDDLE~1\USER_P~1\domains\WCC_DO~1\ucm\cs\bin\SystemProperties.exe." Load Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC, processorArchitecture = "amd64", publicKeyToken is "1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b", type = "win32", version = "8.0.50727.762' is not found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

Oracle 10g RMAN does not work in RHEL 4 after the new installation
I downloaded Oracle 10 g R2 from OTN to self-training.
I have the problem with the RMAN after the new Oracle 10 g installation in RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 4. (x 86)
Everything works fine, the database mounted including EM, SQLPlus, iSQLPlus etc.
But when I try to run the RMAN command on the terminal, nothing happens. No prompt, RMAN, no error message!
I ran the command 'repeat all' but no help.
Please advice.

I am currently using toshiba A100 PSAA9A initially running a winxp pro sp2.
But recently I received a window Vista on the other computer manufacturing so I reformat and installed.But after the installation, I checked all driver devices and they are all installed correctly.
But I can't use fingerprints, as well as the shortcut key by pressing Fn moredoes anyone have a solution to this?

After the new installation Mobo and CPU, HDD IDE does not start in XP.
I have improved my Athlon XP a new motherboard with an Athlon XII after 5 years. XP does not start and gives the following error:

After Exchange of this type of major equipment, you will have to make at least a "repair" of XP.
A repair will not lose any data, other that the Service Pack (if not on CD), no matter what Windows updates and unsigned, drivers that will need to be re-installed later.

3. accept the license agreement and Windows will search for existing installations of Windows.
4. Select the XP installation that you want to repair in the list, and then press [R] to start the repair. Setup copies the necessary files to the hard drive, and then restart.
5. do not press a key to boot from CD when the message appears. Setup then continues as if she were doing a clean install, but your applications and settings are preserved.

Restore backup files after the new installation of Vista
I recently had to replace my main hard drive as it has completely crashed and burned. Fortunately, I thought, I had been diligently backing up to an external hard drive. So after replaced by a fresh hard drive and a new installation of Vista, I thought I could just restore these files from backup... but no luck. New Vista does not recognize the old Vista backup. And it will allow me to migrate these files in any usable fashion. Is it possible for me to get the new Vista installation to access these backups from the previous installation of Vista?

(2) you get an error message?
(3) was it a file, or a backup system image?
I want to clarify if your backup media (external hard drive) is recognizing in Windows.

Acer 1810TZ webcam works only after the new installation of Windows 7
My hard drive died so I don't have access to the recovery partition. I did a fresh install of Windows 7 on a new drive. Everything works except the webcam. Windows has recognized and installed the drivers (and works) but nothing can connect to it. It was working before the accident (also W7).
The Acer website says it is made by Chicony (is ID 0 c 45 6310 suggests Sonix) so I downloaded and installed the drivers installed and appropriate Acer Crystal Eye, but it crashes at startup without error message. Skype and other applications cannot connect to the camera webcam. I also tried all the other drivers on the Acer website, just in case.
Comparability Windows Center suggests that the pilot was developed by Suyin that might be the problem. I found some Sonix drivers that will install on the Microsoft ones but make no difference. I tried to install and Crystal Eye running in compatibility mode.
Any ideas how to solve this problem? I am now at a total loss.

Yes, the webcam is detected under as WebCam imaging devices.
Drivers been uninstalled (reboot) and re-installed (reboot)
Webcam programs have been removed (CrystalEye & Skype)
I downloaded for a Chicony (WebCam_Chicony (AP) _1.1.95.71_Win7x86x64) drivers as Acer judged my Chicony camera Suyin not
I heard support from Acer, who say that the problem is caused by a difference between OEM and sales at retail of Windows 7 and I need to re - install Windows from the recovery DVD. I prefer not to do that.

After migrating to a new MacBook, I installed OS x fresh on the old MacBook. Because I also tried to get rid of Manager CC I uninstalled Lightroom and installed again on the new MacBook.
Lightroom now, tells me that the maximum number of activations has been reached. Altogether, I have indeed installation, one on my MacMini and the other on my MacBook.
Who can reset the activations?
Normally, you should be able to reset by opening the program and by selecting help-> Deactivate. If this isn't the case, then you will need to wait until you can reach the Adobe Support via chat and ask them to reset the activations.

My computer has receantly had virus problems and I want to do a new installation of windows. After I do this can I reinstall my copy of creative suite and use the code provided to or he'll tell me its already in use since technically, I did use it once already? Open any application e.g. Photoshop then help > Deactivate. That will disable the entire suite.

Why would you say that Toshiba Recovery disk contains a version of Vista 64-bit?
How did you check that?
From my experience, the Toshiba recovery disc still contains the preinstalled operating system.Also as much as I know the new notebook from Toshiba are not delivered with the recovery disk, but with a HARD drive recovery option.
This option allows you to reinstall the OS from the second partition of HARD drive recovery.
Alternatively, you can use the preinstalled Toshiba recovery disc creator software to create the own recovery DVDs! And this recovery disk contains the same preinstalled OS!Good bye
