  Once that I had done it all a lot more entries appeared in the right pane for Drivers32 including my wavemapper entry. This is where all along; Quite simply, there is not all the permissions to do anything, including being in the registry pane.

  I left the registry and now all my sounds are back and the volume icon is once again in my system tray. Who would have thought?

  Photoshop (or other previously installed applications) can still be opened by double click on a PSD, or finding the individual executable, but even in this case, CC does not appear in the system tray.  So, cannot use cloud or add other applications, etc.

  I can t say too much on the matte screen. Of course, if the Fl inverter is dead the display appears dull but you issue sounds a little different. The problem doesn't persist all time. That's why I think that it s not a frequency inverter. Usually, the Toshiba power saver is responsible for the brightness of the screen.
