MESSAGE INAPPROPRIATE WHEN I TRIED ANOTHER COMPUTER REMOTE SUPPORT

It worked fine for a long time, however, I think that someone "messed with" my computer.  When I try to do support remotely, I work in tech ctr, anyone I invites to help receives a message of F U on their computer.  How can I stop this?

  • How do I clear the message "printer is used by another computer.

922 MPX will not be printed.  ' display message: printer currently in use by another computer.

    Hi sjp.

Reinstall the printer using the latest drivers on the Canon USA site may resolve the problem you are experiencing. When reinstalling the drivers, please make sure that any antivirus firewall software that is on your computer is temporarily disabled, because these programs can sometimes block the printer detected during installation. Once the printer is correctly installed, the software protection can be reactivated.

Please click here to access the drivers and software page for the PIXMA MX922. Once the initial download to your model page, follow these steps:

    1. check that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop is correct and if this isn't the case, please click on the drop down menu to select your operating system.

    2. then, click the red arrow next to the "RECOMMENDED DOWNLOADS" section and click on the MINI MASTER CONFIGURATION file. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click the box below the button DOWNLOAD, and then click DOWNLOAD to start the download. The time for the download process can vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.

Once you have downloaded the Setup file of Mini Master, please double-click it and follow the instructions to reinstall the printer on your computer.  If you are still experiencing difficulties after you have reinstalled the drivers, please call or write us using one of the methods on the page contact us for further assistance.

    Hi Csiew42,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

    ·         Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?
    ·         Remember to make changes to the computer recently?
    ·         Who is the manufacturer of your computer?

I suggest to perform the clean boot and check if you get the error again. Clean boot will start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    (1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot).

    (2) enable half the services.

    (3) determine if the problem comes back.

    (4) enable half of the startup items.

    (5) determine if the problem comes back.

    (6) repeat the steps above until you discover which program or service is causing the problem.

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • Ref FPGA type-def lost connection when moving to another computer

I have a VI that opens an FPGA VI reference and links the reference to the type definition. The VI works fine on a single computer (Win7; LV 2010, module FPGA 10.0.0).

However, when I open the same VI on another computer (WinXP, LV 2010, module FPGA 10.0.0), the checkbox for reference FPGA VI for the definition of the type of binding is not checked and, as a result, I get a cut wire when the reference enters a Subvi, which accepts the definition of reference FPGA VI as input type.

See the below two screen captures. The picture above shows the situation on the first computer, where all is well. The second picture shows the situation on the second computer. Note the checkbox disabled in the dialog box and the wire cut on the right...

Would could be the reason for this problem? How can I avoid it?

BTW: I use the same VI on a couple of other computers (all Windows 7), where all is well.

In fact, the problem was not caused by the other PC in itself, but rather by the fact that on the other PC, the application was in the directory with a different name. The FPGA VI reference type definition uses an absolute path, however, who gets broken when the application is in a different directory.

Might be good to store the relative path in the future versions of LV.

As a workaround, just use the FPGA VI reference in dynamic mode.

  • the documents appear to be damaged when sent to another computer

The standard acrobat xi, I have problems when sending files to another computer using a USB stick/drive. The documents that I try to send each have a header and a footer and security has been removed completely. When I put it on the usb/disc stick it presents as a shortcut but still opens on this computer. Then when I put in another computer and try to open the document it goes back to the originial document before that I edited, or it happens that the file is lost and can not be found. All that I want is the header and the footer in the document and security deleted so I can send files to people without this problem.

I've never used, so I don't know what he does.

Instead of this, just copy the files in the same way you would copy them between folders on your own drive.

Open the two folders in Solution Explorer. A display of the PDF file.

  • I had received a record of failure of a file error message and when I tried to follow measures to correct by adjustment files he told me that the system does not find the files

I got the error message, shortly after I upgraded to service pack 2 windows xp with service pack 3.  When I try to start in safe mode or in an earlier era, the computer stops at the 32\drivers\mup.sys system.  Then it goes to the blue screen which gives me the error message of failure of a registry file and begins to clear the physical memory on the disk.

And what happens when you try to start in Normal Mode?

  • How to use wifi when connected to another computer?

I am currently in a situation where I need screen sharing another mac via ethernet with my thunderbolt, while the Wifi adapter. I have a 2014 the computer I want to see is a new Mac Mini and Macbook Pro screen. When we are connected by ethernet, none of my wifi signal works, even if I am logged in. My computer is looking for internet connection coming from the mac mini, but that is not connected to the internet. As soon as I unplug my shot of lightning/Ethernet, then my wifi starts immediately to the top. In any case to be connected to my wifi, as well as the other computer by ethernet at the same time? Thank you

    Steve

    Your description is disconcerting.

Do not run cables on the carpet between the computers. Connect all devices to your router or switches that connect to your router, or via Wi - Fi to your router.

You have a SINGLE network. Some devices can be connected by Ethernet and others by Wi - Fi, but it's the same network.  There is no need to have all devices to use the same media. Ethernet is the fastest connection you can do, so if you have an Ethernet connection, Wi - Fi can be "".

As long as each device can get on the Internet at the same time without rewiring, you can also do a computer connection to computer whenever you want.

    Hi all

I have Adobe CS4 on my laptop and created my Web site on this machine. A co-worker has also CS4 on their machine. I downloaded our website to their machine so that the person can do some changes.  However, when I open a page on their site machine seems all wrong. The divs are not published where it should and things don't align.  I downloaded the entire site (css files), but it's like they css is not connected.  Is there something special that needs to be done on the computer of your colleagues?

No, dreamweaver is the perfect Companion for making web pages. Its when inexperienced amateurs build a site and then get stuck. Through just a couple of the posts in this forum and you'll see what I mean. DW is great for people who know how to use it. A lot of newbies is on a web site or download some model and then all of a sudden they're in over their heads

Users need to take a test html and css base before you can purchase/download a model online. They end up right here ask questions even when

  • Hurts when I added another computer

I currently have a WRT54GS version 6.  This unit worked well for 2 years.  I bought it for my laptop.  I recently installed a Linksys wireless receiver in an old desktop computer.  I used the option of easy setup on the second computer, which asked me to push the "Cisco" button on the router.  The second unit of office now works fine... but my laptop does not start on the wireless signal (even if she shows that she receives the signal).  My daughter portable computer has the same problem.  The two laptops worked very well before the "quick installation".  The two laptops they are reciveing a "excellent" signal

How to get back to the old settings?  After the "quick installation", I noticed the reconfiguration has also changed the name of my network (the new name is Linksys_ses_59310).

    Thanks for your help...

  • Want to access another computer on Windows 7 using Remote Desktop connection

    Dear member of the community,

I have 2 desktops, one with 10 windows and more with windows 7. Now I want remote access to the computer windows 10 windows 7 without logging on the computer windows 10. Kindly, guide me for the same thing.

    Hello Alice,.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

The computers are connected to a domain network?

Thank you for details on the issue.

I also appreciate that fact that you want to access 10 Windows in Windows 7 remotely.

With Remote Desktop connection, you can connect to a computer running Windows from another computer running Windows that is connected to the same network or to the Internet. For example, you can use all of the programs, files, and network resources from your computer on your computer at home, and it's just that you are sitting in front of your computer at work.

To connect to a remote computer that computer must be turned on, it must have a network connection, Remote Desktop must be enabled and you must have access to the network to the remote computer (this could be through the Internet), and you must have permission to connect. To obtain permission to connect, you must be on the list of users. Before you start a connection, it's a good idea to search the name of the computer you are connecting to and to make sure that Remote Desktop connections are allowed through the firewall.

I suggest you use the steps in this article and check if it helps.

  • another computer on your network is using your computer - Hack suspicion - ip address through DHCP lease renewal. Help, please

    Hello fellow Mac users...

Today, while using, Firefox A message appeared on my screen: another computer on your network is using the ip address of your computer.

Now, I am 100% sure that my phone was turned off when it happened. And I have a password on my wifi connection.

I panicked because no one should have access to my network or my IP address. Immediately, I turned off my modem and turned off the wifi on my mac.

Later, I went to renew the DHCP lease.

    My question is this:

Could it be, in theory, based on the message system I (another computer on your network is using the ip address of your computer) the IP address was stolen (for lack of a better word) by a remote user, which is not in my physical neighborhood that is resident in another city or even country?

If so, then I did the right thing by closing my Modem? And later on the DHCP lease renewal? About 20-30 minutes past until what I actually renewed the DHCP lease. It, in theory, could have too late to do (assuming that a malicious user has chosen to masquerade himself with my IP address)?

    Thank you all very much!

I'm not a specialist iP/Wifi etc, I'm more than a convenience store of OS X, but...

What was the popup of? -FireFox, the webpage or your Mac?

If it's from the Web page--> then you may have entered a suspicious site that created an alert.
