Message "Please install a web browser".

I'm trying to see how the function of WebHelp will mangle my doc Frame but cannot go beyond this message when I try to compile. I have a lot of web browsers; How can I get RoboHelp to recognize?

Thank you
Simon

Try these two positions. The two confirm my thought, but maybe it's in the details of the configuration. The solution seems to have worked before.

Hi carolc7558 and welcome to our community

I believe that the solution to this is quite simple. It just close RoboHelp and open Windows Explorer. Locate a. HTM file and right-click. Click on properties. Now click the change... button to where it says "open with". Choose Internet Explorer, reject all the dialogs and try again.

    You have Excel installed?

If so, can you use Internet Explorer for the Web site?

As far as I KNOW, Microsoft is not an add-on for Firefox can be opened from Excel in Firefox. It may or may not work properly depending on whether this Web site uses a MIME type for files it delivers.

Another way to handle that would be via Open Office or free agency; both are open source (free) that allows to display files XLS (Excel) , and both programs have a Mozilla browser plugin to allow Firefox to open the 'Calc' of these programs.

I have a macbook pro: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 Ram. 10.7.5 version. When I open some websites, I get a message that web browser is obsolete. I use safari. When I do a software update, it says that the software is up-to-date. Help, please.

Safari maxes in a version of Mac OS x.  New version of Mac OS x would be needed for the new version of Safari.

Firefox is not limited within an OSX and probably has a version that works.  Chrome may as well but is a Devourer of resources.  Opera is a third option.

  • One or more PDF documents are opened in a web browser - message

    Hello

I have a new laptop series L and its great. The only foible I can think is a message that I get when I try to stop. There is a message box that says: "one or more PDF documents are opened in a web browser. If you are now leaving the adobe reader software, these documents will be closed. Are you sure you want to exit? ».

The thing is I don't have any PDF or web browsers open at the time! Can you help me please?
    Thank you, Mark.

    Hi Mark

Believe me it s no big deal the same thing happens from time to time on my laptop
Usually, PDF files can be read with the Adobe Acrobat reader software. This service application runs in the context of the BONE and this message can be displays if the Adobe Acrobat reader software can not close the background automatically process

I solved that little problem by deleting the software acrobat reader from the system. After restarting again I reinstalled it again

Now, the message does not appear and everything works like a dream ;)

  • WRusr.dll error message, failed to open the web browser

I am running Windows 7 and get this message error every time I try to open Internet explorer or Firefox:

"WRusr.dll is missing on your computer."

I can always connect to the network (outlook still downloads e-mail, for example).
    I recently installed updates.
I run Webroot Secure anywhere, I noticed some Internet Research (and a search on this forum) seems to be related in any way to this WSusr.dll thing, but can't find any solutions.
I did a clean boot, as was suggested in another post on this forum, but the problem persisted. Any help would be appreciated, because I still can't use a web browser.

    Hello

I uninstalled and reinstalled Webroot and the problem seems to have stopped. Thank God!

  • The Inbox in the mail application does not all the messages that I can see through the Web browser

I have a similar problem with the Mail application on Surface 2. Inbox does not all the messages that I can see through the Web browser. I chose E-mail download of any time in the account settings. But when it sync randomly takes messages in the Inbox to display. I uninstalled the app, restarted the Surface and again installed in the Windows store. But the problem remains. It's frustrating. I think the app is not fully developed.

His works now. I did the sync and other things with no results. Then I noticed that my missing messages are somehow appearing in the file of the Newsletter. Then, I moved all the messages in the Newsletter folder in Inbox and unchecked it parameters. It's working now. There are apparently some bugs in the software that allows for the Newsletter to divert messages. In any case thanks for checking.

    Hello Jimw93000314,

Are you preview site in the edge browser? When you preview the page in the browser Muse create a local server to give you the preview in the browser. With the edge browser, there was a reported issue to access the local server.

Please click the link below that shows the steps to enable the browser to edge.

  • I'm getting a new computer and he won't get any web browser preloaded software. Can I get a CD with Firefox to install?

I have a new computer that does not have any installed web browser when I acquire. So, I can't download Firefox, say, by using Internet Explorer. Can I get a copy of Firefox on a CD and use instead.

    Hello, Lars.

Although not related to your problem, I must remind you that the version of Firefox you are using right now has been deleted and is no longer supported. In addition, he has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I invite you to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and ease of use. You can get it for free, as always, to getfirefox.com.

If you want to buy a CD of Firefox, go here. Remember that Firefox is free software, and you will pay only for the CD itself and the packages and ports. You can download Firefox from where you want, where you want, when you want, and you can share it with whoever you want, always. In my opinion, I think that you simply store the installer of Firefox in a USB key (download it from {[http://getfirefox.com| getfirefox.com], of course}) or a removable storage like this device and then reinstall it from there, the new computer.

Also and by the way, what OS will? I can't think of any modern operating system that does not have a way to download the software immediately the bat. Windows comes with Internet Explorer, or with a way to download another browser of your choice, Linux has an absolutely brilliant software Center where you can type just Firefox and it will download and install the latest version of Firefox in two clicks (he's genius really), and I think that Mac OS X should have some sort of something like that also. In addition, it comes with Safari, I think. I don't know about Solaris, Unix and other operating systems like that, so I'm just curious.

In any case, I hope this helps.
