Message won't Outbox and cannot be deleted or moved for deletion.

I tried to send an email with a number of attachments. After sending, the message appeared in my Outbox, but won't because the total size is 11 MB. I tried to open it or delete but an Outlook message began to send the message. How can I delete the message from my Outbox?

You don't mention what email program you use. If Outlook Express check for working offline and deselect the preview pane and see if it will remove this way. If this is not the case, the sending, or sent items box is corrupt.

Proceed as follows for the Outbox and if the problem persists, repeat for the sent items after you move the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX file for the folder in question {Outbox.dbx} and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

You don't have to tell us what e-mail program use. If it's Outlook Express, then this is the answer.

When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.  How can I fix?

    Hi KERRYYX,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?
    4. What is the full error message that you receive?
    5. Are you able to restart and shut down the computer?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

You cannot log off, restart or shut down your Windows XP-based computer

  • "One or more pages are in use and cannot be deleted" - once AGAIN.

    1. Open a PDF file.
    2. Save it with a different name
    3. Try to delete a page

    You will get this error:

'One or more pages are currently in use and cannot be deleted'

I've had this billions of times now and the only solution that works 100% of the time is close and reopen the file. This leads me to believe that it is something with "locking" of the economy, but don't file not to release him after the fact backup.

DOWNLOAD THIS FIXED please because it's boring LOADS and LOTS of people.

As demonstrated by the results of search 7000 + the exact phrase "one or more pages are in use and could not be removed.

And that's only the part of the user base who actually reports the problem.

There are several topics on this issue, some marked as "solved" by mistake.

I'm a customer paying, use Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and bridge during my daily work and have had this problem for months and months through several different computers (two places of different work and at home) and ran in this time and again, when all I want to do is cut a PDF into several smaller PDF files.

Closing and reopening of your program because you can't not to solve this problem is NOT ACCEPTABLE. It is THE WORST form of user experience, because this issue is the ONLY reason I use Acrobat at all, and he can do same.

    See you soon,.

PS. : Sorry, I'm very frustrated running in this time and then having to wade through the thick mud (your site is a UX nightmare) to report this problem, which was the report many times on this forum before.

For me - using Acrobat X Pro on Windows 7 - this problem disappeared when I upgraded to Acrobat Pro to the latest version (help > check for updates).

Error pages Adobe Pro delete. One or more pages are in use and cannot be deleted.

Hi, can someone sat down. I am compiling a pdf file by inserting several documents and cannot remove specific pages. I used this function on an older version of Adobe Pro but have an editing problem.

Could be that the pdf file is damaged. If you cannot re-create the file in other ways try refrying the PDF by printing to the Adobe Pdf virtual printer pdf.

  • One or more pages are in use and cannot be deleted since the update to Adobe Acrobat

    Hello

Since 3 of our users have updated Adobe Acrobat X, they get the following error message "one or more pages are in use and cannot be removed" when you try to edit the created PDF files. Has someone else that had this problem. The version that we run is 10.1.13. on Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit.

    Thank you.

    Hey team office,

Could you please try to repair Acrobat on the Help menu, and then restart.

Check also under ' Edit > Preferences > Documents "If the display PDF/A mode is set to always. If so, change it to "Never" and try to delete pages.

Another option is to use "file > save as option to save the file under a different name and then try to delete pages in the new created the file."

Let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

  • Convert Pagemaker 7.0 files to PDF and cannot do without a PostScript for Windows 7 64 bit printer driver.

I am trying to convert Pagemaker 7.0 files to PDF and cannot do without a PostScript printer driver.

The driver on the PM installation disc will not install.

The driver is available on the Adobe Web site will not be installed.

HP support cannot help me. They directed me to Adobe.

Adobe technical support is no help at all unless I want to pay $140.00 to use the software that I have already purchased from them.

Where and how can I get a PostScript printer driver for my Windows 7 64 bit computer?

I'm under 64-bit Windows 8. There are a few options:

    1. in my case, I use Adobe Creative Suite CS3 as well. It comes with Adobe Acrobat 8.0, which must be upgraded to version 8.1.3 or about 64-bit support. This, however, works OK with PageMaker 7.0.

    2. There is a method using a printer driver called "imagesetter MS Publisher' which is actually Postscript and will do the job. You will need to do some research on it: I remember using this method when installing PM 7.0 under the preview release. I also noticed that there is a 'PS Microsoft class driver"Windows 8. Maybe it's worth a try.

    3. try a third free PDF writer. I have recommended Nitro Reader for some customers.

I keep only PageMaker to open the old client files, and anything but trivial changes, I migrate files to InDesign (which opens the MP files date back as far as PM6). You can be a better buy InDesign (if only an older version) and do the same thing - it is a much better program and PM is blowing out of the water.

  • I can't delete a message from my Outbox and Outlook Express won't send it. What should I do?

I tried to send a large amount of photos using Outlook Express. The message is stuck in the outlet box. It will not send it, I can't move or delete it. Any ideas?

Check: File | Work offline and in: reviews | Layout: uncheck the preview pane. Can delete you it now?

    Otherwise:

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, 2K & 2K 3, files from user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX the Outbox.dbx file and delete it. A new vacuum will be created automatically when you open OE.
