Messages send pictures

I have an Iphone 6.  Cannot send pictures.  Do not know why. Help.

Hi hustedfc,

In order to send photos from your iPhone 6, you should check out some important things on your device. I can help you check this! First of all, we have to check if there are updates available for your iPhone.

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

After reviewing the updates, it is also necessary to adjust your message settings on your iPhone. Send media such as photos and audio requires a mobile data or Wi - Fi connection. Activation of MMS on the device, if not already active, should do the trick. Tap Settings > Messages then turn on MMS.

If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

You can use the link above for larger troubleshooting methods to resolve the problem with sending photos. Please use the Apple Support communities for help.

Have a great day.

I have a request to send photos to someone who uses their smart phone and I do not have pictures in a phone; only on my PC. Can I send pictures of this person's mobile phone? They gave me their number. Thank you

It is possible to send a text message (SMS) to a phone by email (look for "sms e-mail gateway"), but I don't know if you can join this way, i.e. MMS pictures. The simplest method would be for the recipient create an e-mail account on the phone. If they can't or won't, but they can access the web via a browser, I guess you could upload photos on one of the free file hosting services photo and send them links using the email-to-text method mentioned above.

  • iPhone 6 on EE - iMessage will not send pictures

My iphone 6 ceased to send pictures through iMessage.

It sends the text through iMessage iMessage works. I tried on wifi and EE 4 g, makes no difference. Receives photos and text via fine imessage. IMessage picture just coming out that is affected.

    Tried:

    Reset the phone

    Turn imessage

    Turn FaceTime

    Toggle flight mode

Signature to iCloud and folder in

etc (as well as making several of the foregoing in unison)

Wierdly the only time wherever it works is if I send to myself.

When you send someone else, it takes a while, and then the blue bar goes and he says comes under. Then a few minutes after that he changed to fail. Tried to send to several other people and these people can all receive iMessage pictures from third parties is only me that is affected.

I repeat... iMessage works as it sends the text via is not the settings in this sense. It is also not the image size I tried those who have worked in the past.

Any ideas? I tried everything I saw in google searches.

    Thank you

iMessage uses data, that this is just a message including a photo. You mention he happens on a wi - fi provided cell also, is that correct? When you talk to reset the phone, are you referring to reset in now the home and sleep/wake set buttons until you see the Apple logo and then release for the iPhone to reboot?

IMessage requires an active internet connection on both sides of the conversation, the sender and recipient. Have you checked with the people you send it? Have you been able to receive a picture of someone with iMessage, wi - fi or cellular? You say that you can send an iMessage with just the text, have you tried to send a picture to someone immediately after their sending just an iMessage with text? iMessage shows that it is active, correct?

The following troubleshooting steps include resetting the network settings, backup restore, factory restore, testing after each step.

  • My 5s iPhone cannot send pictures

Hi, I have an iPhone 5s with the latest version of the software installed.

I don't text pictures at all, I can't dump pictures and I can only email one photo at a time, even if I select several. I can also clearly view photos or watch videos not connected to Wifi, and it's super annoying. Even when I am connected to Wifi, my photos will take a few seconds to load clearly.

When I try to text to a picture, it takes a bit to load, and then once he does is not even appear in my message bar.

When I try to drop a picture, it takes a good 30 seconds to load, and then he said: failure to send. If I try again, it just says: failure to send instantly.

And when I try to send a photo, it cannot send one at a time, which is extremely painful. Even if I select 2 or 3, it is only one in the actual e-mail.

I think that my phone saves pictures in the iCloud immediately to try to keep the storage, but if I can't even use, send or watch, there is no point to it. I never had this problem before all these new updates, and it's really frustrating. Please help if you know how to fix this problem, any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

According to your post, I see that you can't text or photos AirDrop and you can only send one photo at a time even if you select several. You are not able to view photos or watch videos clearly when you use a cellular Wi - Fi or data connection. I send pictures on my iPhone all the time, so I know that it is essential that we get this problem is solved. I have a couple of things I want you to try.

First of all, let's see if all the apps running in the background of your iPhone are causing a problem. Please double-click the "home" button and slide up to close open applications. This article will help you:

Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Then go ahead and give your iPhone a fresh reboot:

Once you have restarted your device, test and see if you get the same result.

    All the best.

  • Cannot send pictures using iMessage

I used iMessage to send pictures for years, I could just drag and drop photos into the body of the message and send. Now all I get are error messages that the message could not be sent. I've checked all my preferences, rebooted, does all the basic things one would expect that may cause an error to occur, but nothing works.

I can send pictures by using one of my other iDevices without a hitch, the problem occurs only on my iMac.

    Does anyone have a solution?

There are a lot of messages and YT videos on this problem when the use of iPhones and iPad, but I can't find anything about the iMac.

The journal contains a large amount of information, almost everything that is not relevant to solve a particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Please do not post screenshots of log messages - text poster.

Some private information, such as your name or e-mail address, can appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the forum software. Thanks for posting the text on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

If you have an account on Pastebin, please do not select private in exposure menu to paste on the page, because no one else that you will be able to see it.

  • Unable to send attachments in outlook express. HTML is selected and is therefore 'send pictures' recipient receives the text but not images?

I am unable to send attachments in outlook express. HTML is selected and is therefore 'send pictures' recipient receives the text but not images?

All security settings seem fine, an idea?

Some messages do not conform to the standards of the Internet in the sense that they cannot be returned intact by their transmission.  The way around this is to use Message | Until the attachment, then they will be properly transmitted, since they will be attached.

  • Not able to send pictures of the moment Share in HP Image Zone Express after installation.

Original title: Instant Share in HP Image Zone Express.

    OS - Windows XP Professional

When I got the new printer, HP Officejet 4500 Desktop, I thought I had installed the download of "full feature". After you select the photos I want to send in an e-mail, I get this message to not be put in place to make the emails. Instructions for "E-mail pictures" said that after I make my selections, should I enter my "HP Passport" user ID and password, and then click next word. I don't remember anything asking me to set up a separate account, except the recording of HP. What did I miss?

Pretty much the same thing happens when I try to send an email directly from Windows Live Photo Gallery. I can manage send pictures like "Accessories", but the use of the site where the pictures are just seems easier.

    Hi Cynthia,.

HP Instant Share is abandoned by the manufacturer. However, you can use Snapfish to upload and share photos.

  • Can't send pictures by e-mail all of a sudden?

When you try to send pictures by e-mail, to "make pictures smaller" is not an option any longer.  I used hilight the photos I want to send, then the dialog box with this option will appear in the left corner.  It no longer appears?  Now when I try to send pictures it just gets locked up in my Outbox (outlook express 6) and I have to delte out of the Outbox.  I recently installed upgrading Quickbooks 2011 Quickbooks 2008.  I don't see how it would affect my pictures?

Thank you for all the ideas.

Maybe by running the following command will
    restore the option of resizing...

Reach... Start / run... and type
    (or copy and paste):

    regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll

(Yes, the space after the 2 and the)
    After the i is necessary)

    Press on... Come in...

You should see a dialog box stating:
DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in successful shimgvw.dll

Also... There is a reg file to what follows a link that
    may be worth a try:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before editing the registry)

Read the steps you took by attaching a photo, I don't see you said "..." Select and click OPEN... ».
Alternatively, the word "select" includes "select and open?
