Messaging with Nortel PBX unit

I am currently under a double integration in my transition to IP telephony. In my current sitiation, we run a Nortel Meridian 1 Option 81C PBX as well as Cisco CallManager 4.0. They are both integrated with Cisco Unity 4.0. Our problem is that our IP phones are able to dial * then the extension and leave a message without ringing the phone. PBX users, however, are not able to do. This becomes a growing problem that we're driving on the conversion of the voicemail. A local Cisco engineer hold me it is possible to install it for the for the PBX numbering plan, but opposed our PBX technician. Can anyone send me an example of how to get this feature for all phones. Thanks in addvance.

Nortel phones have a similar feature with the old voicemail system? Or users see this as a new feature that comes with the migration? On the side of CCM unit, it's really a feature of the telephone system. Unit is not something special for her. From the point of view of unity, calls by * [ext] exactly the same as a call that has been transferred [ext].

If you can't similar functionality of a Nortel PBX, then here is the closest thing I can think of... define a driver that allows users of PBX to call in the greeting of the opening of the unit (instead of the sign - in conversation). From there they compose [ext] #2. This will take them directly to the greeting [Ext.] without ringing the phone.

    Running a program with vmware-the unit-helper is only a function on Linux hosts. We have had a few requests to add it to Windows hosts, but this isn't a feature on Windows now.

    Now Thunderbird seems to clump messages with the same subject and there is a graphic ligature tying these together. Would be nice if I could disable this feature. It is generally more useful if a repertoire of messages appear in reverse order of date or another order I specified when sorting. "Threading", if I can call it that, defeated my sort order.

    It would be nice if I could turn the feature occasionally to discuss a conversation, but for day to day use, I want to turn it off.

    There was perhaps a Windows Update a few days before the trouble.

    I can't find "Temporary directory" setting and don't know what to do with it, if I found it.

    You must delete the document in the folder C:\Users\Rick\AppData\Local\Temp\moz_mapi.

    These folders etc are in the "AppData" folder, which is hidden by default.
    You bring up the folders and hidden files.

    I had and solved a similar problem. May not be your exact problem though. In my case, I got two e-mail accounts, and I experienced this kind of problem in Tbird and Fossamail, a derivative of Tbird. I solved my problem by having only one account in Tbird and the other in Fossamail.

    This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

    You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

    I can access the shared files of most of my computers on the domain, but there are a few that have WINXP Pro can't do. Some of the XP computers can access it, but the only people who can't are XP. I think it might be something with the local security settings, but I'm not sure. The error I get is: \\server name \sharing folder is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have permissions.  The request is not supported.   All users have permissions and can view the files from other computers just these few who have been able to do actions. Any help would be useful.
