L300 Satellite TV connection

Is it possible to connect a Satellite L300 CRT TV with wire from the connection of the external display to the TV AV3 video (yellow) Jack? I'm not having much success. Should what settings I? I use a Panasonic Quintrix 100 Mhz TV and by the manufacturer, I thought it should work.

  • Satellite L300 - unable to connect to the wireless network

I have a NETGEAR router and a Toshiba Satellite L300 laptop HP DV2000.

The HP can connect to my wireless network and also my neighbors network next door (which is not secure)
However, the L300 can only connect to the network of my nextdoor neighbour even if it can 'see' the NETGEAR network.

I changed the security from WPA to WEP up to now no security at all, and it seems not to matter.
The strange thing is that my L300 CAN connect to a wireless network, but not mine!

And my wireless network works as I can connect from my HP laptop.
On the L300 it shows 5 bars on the NETGEAR is not a problem of weak signal.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Try changing the WLAN settings on your router. Compare the WLAN settings on the settings of your laptop and the router.

Test it with standard B on both devices.
I mean if your laptop can see neighbours WLAN card wireless network in the laptop must be OK.
I really thing all is due to wrong WLAN settings.

Play around with that sort of thing.

    Hello

I had some of my Satellite L100 connection problems to my sky wireless broadband connection. My laptop detects the connection and I have a bubble appears confirming that the wireless connection is connected. However, when I open internet explore it appears with 'cannot display the page'.

Now, the wireless works with our other non-Toshiba laptop so I know that the connection is ok but it does not connect with my Satellite. Is there something I can do?

Try reboot you the router. In many similar situations, it helps me.

  • Flash Player download guard fails with the interruption of the connection and then abandoned.  satellite, Internet connection

    Win XP. Firefox 34.0.5 (latest)

Continuous Flash Player download fail with the interruption of the connection and then abandons. I'm on a satellite Internet connection.

It seems to be extremely slow, even when loading the installer which is only 1 MB. Then when I run the Setup and it starts to download the installation there are frequent messages lose the connection and then finally give up.

I had problems with other software crashes when I'm on a satellite link. This is probably because of the huge latency that can be regarded as a failure of the link. Ping times are usually 800ms but can sometimes be 2000ms!

  • Satellite Pro L300-156 - WLAN connection drops every 12 hours

    Hello!

I have a short model "Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-156" (PSLB1E).

    The system state is:

I used the recovery CD (to install Windows XP and other software on this CD).
I've upgraded to the latest version of the BIOS (1.50, 10/07/2008) for my laptop and I downloaded all updates for Windows XP.
I installed the latest WLAN driver for my WIFI (Realtek RTL8187B) card.

    The problem is still there:
Every 12 hours (exactly on the minute!) drops connections.
Not only the Internet, but the local connection.
It is even a kind of matrices.

Both a connection to a local computer and "mIRC" (ssh/telnet-program) to "PuTTY" (program-chat-IRC) says "network error caused abortion of software".

These ping connections not, they die instantly in a tenth of a second.

    Hello

I guess it can be caused by a 3rd third party tool that was installed on your laptop.

I mean it of really strange that disconnected EXCATLY after 12 hours of use.

"I have goggled a bit for the message: network error: Software caused connection abort."
And found that this error is displayed if the Windows network code decides that your network connection is dead. This will happen when you remove the cable network Ethernet-connected computer, or if Windows has any other reason to believe the entire network has become unreachable.

I think you should check the settings of your WLan router. My router refresh / disconnects after 23,59 hours to ensure that the IP address has changed.

  • Satellite L300 - how to connect to an analog TV?

    Hello..

    I have a Satellite L300 laptop.

I want to connect it to an analog TV.

The external monitor on the laptop output a VGA out? How can I connect to an analog TV? Is it enough to buy a RCA VGA cable? (the one with the VGA input and 3 output cable). Or I need something more?

    Please help me with this.

    Hello

I have a Satellite L300 too and it s equipped with a standard VGA output port. This means that you can use this port to connect the laptop a TV. As you say, this is why you need a RCA VGA cable. That s enough and you don t need more cable or adapters.
In my case, it worked for me.

If your laptop has a S-video port, you can use this port too.

  • Satellite L300 - no Internet connectivity - intermittent

    Tonight

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop ancient - about four or five years. I'd give the model number, but unfortunately it has rubbed off the label underneath - is possible to find this out (I think it's a L300 - or something).

I let the laptop all the time - leave the parameters energy saver it hit standby mode when the lid is closed.

Sometimes (often) when I open the lid and the springs of the computer in the life, the connection is at Local level only rather than Local and Internet. A reboot solves this problem, but a reboot takes about five minutes, which can be a pain if I want to use the Internet for half a minute.

Come to use the laptop now and it wouldn't connect - or rather, wouldn't get all web pages. This time the connection was showing however as "Local and Internet". I don't think it's the browser - use us Firefox or Chrome. In addition, the computer will automatically connect to Skype and it is only in a State of the connection.

I just uninstalled the wireless driver - do not click the box that says 'delete the driver software for this driver' however. Of course, this requires a reboot that solves the problem anyway, so I don't know if that solves the overall problem.

If anyone knows of any diagnosis that I should run while the machine is not plug in, but please let me know.

This same problem who spent a year or two he's has and then just stopped that happening / it is now started again - current for about a week.

    Any ideas anyone?

It is under Windows Vista Home premium and use AVG as a virus checker - if that makes a difference. I have a new Toshiba netbook and that works perfectly on the same wireless network. I have not tried this portable annoying on a different network.

    Thanks in advance.

    GTG

To be honest I didn t understand your problem.
To work well WLAN driver must be installed and card wireless network enabled to verify please once more if the correct driver WLAN is installed. You can do it in Device Manager.

Use the FN + F8 key combination and remember the wireless network adapter is correctly enabled. After doing so scan the area and control available to the local wireless networks and try to connect to your WLAN at home.

Have you tested with battery only or the same problem occurs with food running too?

  • Satellite L300 - does not connect to wireless internet

I have a satellite L300 (part No.: PSLB8A-0SN004) took me right back to the factory settings (out of box).

I opened internet connections and all the usual wireless names were there.
I tried hang my internet (wireless) home and tried several times, with the correct password, however it just does not connect.

I tried to install the Realtek RTL8187B Wireless LAN driver both Atheros Wireless LAN Driver, but neither helped.

The Wi - fi switch on the front is also in position to position IT. Please help I have to up my laptop up and running as soon as POSSIBLE.

    > I tried to install the Realtek RTL8187B Wireless LAN driver both Atheros Wireless LAN Driver, but neither helped.

If the wireless network adapter is recognized in Device Manager, you n t need to install the WLan driver.
In addition, you said that you can see the wireless networks available in your environment. This means that the WiFi is enabled and works

I think that you should disable the WiFi settings (WEP, WPA, etc.) only for testing purposes and should try to connect the laptop to the network open, if possible, that means that you badly chosen encraption or the password.

  • Question about the Satellite L300 to TV connection

Hi everyone, first of all this is my first post.

Also I'm a bit geek o when it comes to computers etc., I can use one but im not a wizz tech kid as well as use of base of an im afraid.

    I have a Satellite L300 laptop.

My question is, my laptop has no HDMI port, but it has a VGA port.
I have a digital TV with many ports Inc. USB, VGA, HDMI etc.

I am downloading movies and burn them on dvd, but it's very tedious, so I wonder if I connect the laptop to the tv to use the TV as a monitor screen? so, I can either watch the dvd on the tv, and gold to direct flows to the laptop and then on television.

I connected a vga cable for the necessary ports between the TV and the pc, and although television confirms that a pc is connected, there is only a white screen? so I guess I can't connect in this way.

It is not possible to connect using the usb ports? or of other ideas like if I may or may not connect to this laptop?

    Kind regards

    Bob

    Hi Bob

What laptop has no HDMI port this is a bit complicated. In General, you should be able to use your TV as external monitor. When you connect your laptop with VGA cable to your TV and turn on this port to the TV use the FN + F5 key combination and desktop to TV switch.

If your TV is correctly detected when you use FN + F5, you should see several options. Problem is that the VGA connection is for video only and you will not hear on your TV. You can transfer the sound, but you must separate the wires and connect the headphone jack of your laptop and openings of his TV or even receiver Hi-Fi if you a.

    It's a little complicated.

  • Satellite L300-243 to connect camcorder JVC

Toshiba Satellite L300-243 was purchased primarily for use with Pinnacle 12 doing video editing.
My previous PC had a connection to the firewall 4-4, but there is no similar link on laptop.

Can I use a cable USB 4 - do the download of the camcorder to the laptop?
Or is there another plug on the laptop I have to use?

    Bob

    Hello

I guess the JVC Camcorder supports firewire interface and it was connected to the computer via a firewire cable.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Satellite L300-243 does not support firewire port.

In your case, you could buy an Express card that contains the firewire port.
Then, you can connect the camcorder to the laptop.

    See you soon

  • Satellite L300 - wouldn't connect to the router

I've had this laptop for 2 months, it worked very well to connect to my WiFi router, then one day it would not connect, although I had a signal from my Siemens SE587 router and my Tiscali IP, but I got the message 'there must be a problem with one or more network adapters on this computer.
I tried the ipconfig/renew command and received the message that no operation can be performed on the wireless network connection, although it has its media disconnected, the same message to connect to the Local network.

If I connect my LAN cable in the computer laptop all work ok, but not the wirelss.
    Any ideas please.

    Hello!

Maybe a silly question but that you have activated the card WLAN? You can do it with FN + F8 and switch on the laptop hardware.
    Check it!

In addition, it would be interesting to know what operating system you have. You may need to disable management feature in Vista the WLAN power supply management.
