  Last night, I was working on a site and I have been using the following code:

  Most of the work except the description code. It wouldn't show. I added {{this | json}} to have a look at what was available and I saw everything but the description for the web application.

  Don't know what was going on I spoke with Chat support. The representative added {tag_description} available to the web application list and it worked today.

  But this leaves wondering if it's appropriate behavior? As you can see I running me a collection and not use not the layout. Why you {tag_description} must be added to the list available to make it available in the collection? It does not seem logical.

  I note also that the only reason why I'm running a collection instead of using the list view is because I want to disable paging. It would be so much easier to simply add something like paging = "disabled" in the tag module. This really should be available as an option.

  Lynda, this has been a problem because the liquid is released. Not sure why it has not yet been set. One solution is to add a liquid available to default list of web application and the description field will be displayed in the JSON

  I usually just add {%} blank comment {endcomment %} and then it will work.}}

  It works for the home screen, but all other pages display the bar. I would like for the web app run as a native application on a full screen. Is this possible? If this is the case, how I to make it happen?

  I found the description of the app was not well formatted. All line breaks have been removed and it is really bad for reading.

  I have two questions,

  1. If I change the description of some app, this application must be submitted for review again.

  Are you referring to the description that you entered in the portal of vetting of BlackBerry App World?  If so, the answers to your questions are:

  (1) No, the application didn't need to submit again.  However, I have a ticket is always open to change.  The App World team must always check any change to the public like this.

  (2) If you have copied and pasted the text in this field (for example from MSWord), then there may be meta/markup data that interfere. Think just type the text and add spaces between paragraphs.  Line breaks should not be removed.

• Outlook web app on the pix firewall

  Hi guru firewall,.

  Can someone here help me install my firewall cisco to work for external outlook web access. I changed a few settings and do turn internally... However I can't access outside.

  That means, when I open outlook web app on our LAN that it works, but when I try to open it via internet ISP I can not open it... "page not found".

  Pls advice how you it is resolved through the configuration of firewall pix if anyone of you has met the same thing.

  I created a list web app that contains several fields from the data source.

  These data source fields have multiple values where the customer has to choose the value of (i) there is. That is to say place: sea front area rural, etc., etc.

  These values must be translated from English into Dutch.

  So, how do I build my Web page with a liquid markup custom c.q. of entry?

  Hi Carla,.

  You have many options at your disposal with the liquid, so with the datasource_id of the original web application, you can call another Web application referencing this ID to get the information you need and collect the data in a collection or display in a custom template (.tpl) file.

  Here is an example. Inside of your application model web detail.html

  With the help of a collection:

  {module_webapps id = "3rdPartyWebApp" filter = "item" itemId = '{{dataSourceID}}' collection 'webAppData' =' model = '}
  {{webAppData.items [0] .description}}

  With the help of a model:
  {module_webapps id = "3rdPartyWebApp" filter = "item" itemId = "{{dataSourceID}}" template = "display_webapp_description.tpl"}

  ... display_webapp_description.tpl content:

  {{description}}

  You should be good to go.

• Find and replace the work of the Meta Descriptions?

  If someone has found a way to make a site-wide find and replace, to access the Meta Descriptions, titles or embedded HTML?  I am involved in a project of cloning of dozens of web sites Adobe Muse & change text in various areas.  It would be a HUGE timesaver.  Appreciate all the help that can be offered on this topic!

  Thanks for getting back to me on that.  Search for replacement & is great, but it's a disappointment that only the body of pages can use this function when it has so much important text in page descriptions and titles!  I would love to see this feature added to a future version of Adobe Muse... Any chance you could forward that request to the right person to review?

  {tag_name} will make a name wrapped in a link {tag_name_nolink} will make just the name. If you want a read more you get a hyperlink and use another URL tag.

  Nothing wrong with BC and works. As I said - check your markup and avoid doing the things of html in the editor in admin.

  Google usually uses the meta description tag. Home page of the site has no info description, just a blank description meta tag...

  Search engines can't spider, which does not exist.

  EDIT: If this is a WP site, you should be able to add information description of the CMS for each page. If you have not installed, it may be time to get a plugin SEO (SEO by Yoast seems decent).

  Description tag will have a variety of entities html, images and more, as much for the description value so a custom with brief description field will do.

  You do inline script so that you got the tags, your best with rendering data or the data extracted from web apps and if your using html 5 address etc. data is better and have your scripts in the script files.

  Is there a way to access the meta description to change? Is this something that needs to be done on the hosting site?

  I'm sorry if these are stupid questions to some however, I fight to learn Web Design and creation. I only work with these programs since April and have no previous experience with them.   If you want to update your Muse site's metadata, you can open the file of the Muse and then go to Page-> Page Properties-> section of metadata to pages and update the metadata.

  If someone had noticed over the past month, the Google search results page 'view 1 to 20' tire for the main block of text they use for each Web site description? That is to say. the meta description is corrupt?

  But the basis of the golden rule is to not try to deceive or manipulate Google when it spiders the page: just to make the page contextually relevant and composed in a way that would be reasonable for humans.

  You are spitting in the wind with it.  Descriptions in your meta-tags tags are displayed by some but not all search engines.  And the way in which your meta descriptions are SERPs is totally out of your control.  USING capital LETTERS for TITLES of BOOKS.  Ordinary case for everything else.
