MFP HP LaserJet Professional M1217nfw

I have a Mac OSX update to the Mavericks

Address IPv4 is 192.168.1.7

I can access the relevant information about the HP site, but when it comes to the eprint thanks to the HP Web Services I get the message that my printer is not connected to the Internet.

It works with my WIFI (Netgear the WPS has recognized the printer I think) and even if I try to connect it directly to the Vidéotron Internet connection I always get a message that the printer is not connected to the Internet.

I am not a computer wizz...

I tried for 2 days and I'm quite confused, I really need to get the printer to use the eprint service.

Thank you: I hope you can do something for me

Hi mminchina001,

Set an IP address manually and the DNS servers for your printer.  The steps are in the document of the printer is not maintaining the wireless connection .  The steps are in the Mac OS X section in the subsection titled "five Solution: the printer of the assign a static IP address.  For the preferred DNS Server Manual please use 8.8.8.8 and the Alternate DNS Server Manual, please use 8.8.4.4.  Here's Google's DNS servers.  Once you have set the manual ip address and DNS servers, you should have no problem with activation of web services.

I have a horrible time trying to get my printer put in place.  I can finally get it to print with the USB cord, but I can't seem to set up to be wireless.  I have watched the video and then I get to the EWS browser and fill in the required information.  However, when I click on 'Apply', nothing happens.  I get a blank screen.

I can't get any further.  I worked on this for 2 days now and it is not frustrating.

Nothing that he prints. I checked spools of printing, drivers, etc. Nothing seems out of place. Any suggestions?

  • LaserJet professional M1210 MFP Series: Find the right software for a Mac and how to install it

I recently changed from a PC to a Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.  My printer is a Laserjet professional M1210 MFP series (although the info on the printer says Laserjet MFP M1217/mfw).  I don't know where to find the drivers and the correct software and I don't know how to install this printer on Mac.  It will print, but no other features work such as scanning or fax.

Can someone direct me to the correct software and the process step by step on how to install the software for Mac?

    Thank you

    Maria

Hi, the latest software for your printer provided by means of call Software Update, try to update the software by following these steps:

Click on the Apple icon, then select about this Mac.
Click software update, and then click the Store from the top of the indicated window menu and click on reload the Page.

Be sure to install any update HP or Apple, then check for the difference.

If no HP update are available, manually install the package below:
    http://support.Apple.com/kb/dl907

Once the latest drivers were Installer go to System Preferences > printers & Scanner and click the sign plus sign to add to the fax printer queue (it can take 30 to 40 seconds for the additional fax queue appear in the list of printers you)

Finally, you can scan using Capture of Image after completing these updates, so you can install and use the HP Easy Scan scanning application:

  • LaserJet Pro M1217nfw booting is not after the firmware update

    Hello

    My configuration:

HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw (USB connection)

MacBook Pro (mid-2012) running OS X Lion 10.7.5

    My Odyssey:

The HP scanning software included on the CD is rudimentary to say the least. In particular, it don't will not let me scan multiple pages and combine them into a single PDF file.

Tried to scan printing & scanning with ImageCapture, an excerpt, and the pane in system preferences: they see any of the MFP.

Uninstalled HP, reset printing system software, downloaded and installed http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907 according to the instructions on http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Networking-and-Wireless/Mac-Lion-Scanning-Multiple-Docs/m-p/159... no luck.

Downloaded and installed the latest HP software http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32660/Im-80903-6/LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution.dmg

Installation goes OK, then asked the installer to update the firmware of the printer and I foolishly said yes.

Result: the printer will not be in service longer. At the start, it displays "then to initialize... "with the Green (ready) and amber (caution) of fires, then LCD turns off, then"initializing... ". "all over again, to infinity. Needless to say that the HP software or the Firmware utility see the device more and in system preferences, it is listed as "offline". In a Word, it is bricked.

Of course, I could use some good advice. Thanks in advance.

    I need help!  Any ideas?

    Hi LolaTheCat,

Thank you for exploring the HP Support forums for a solution to your problem of scanning.

I understand that you use a M225 MFP HP LaserJet Pro with a PC of Windows 8.1, and the 'Save' button became unresponsive. I would like to help with that.

I would like to begin by downloading and running the tool HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printer software.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

  • MFP HP LaserJet Pro 400 M425dn will not print the text to format 72 points or more

My workplace has recently bought a M425dn of MFP HP LaserJet Pro 400 all-in-one printer. It works perfectly except for the fact that it will not print text that is 72 points or larger in size. I tried many fonts that are installed with Windows, and all them print correctly to the point size 71.5 or smaller; Another thing simply does not appear in prints. Content which is of size to 72 points or more * fact * affect the flow of the content printed on the page, however. It's like the 72 points or larger text takes up space, but it is completely invisible on the printed page.

I tested using Microsoft Word 2002 on three separate computers, of which two have installed Windows 7 and Windows Vista installed. The problem is the same on all three computers. The printer is connected via an ethernet cable to our wired network. I have installed the printer software included, and I don't think that there are updates for it that have not been installed up to this point.

Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?

Hello, I just made an account to solve this problem for you guys because it has been a puzzle to me also...

I apologize before the huge hand for the terrible grammar and punctuation that I'm in a hurry

Now it does not work for everyone but I fixed it on my machine with the following

now before you print it... .use (ctrl + p) in your text editor to open the print window, click (properties), and then navigate to the tab (Advanced) now, I have a section called the characteristics of the printer in this category there is an option to 'send truetype as bitmap' activate this and see if it can help someone of you, for me, with this PERMIT I can print any font size my processor will allow me to type

    in my machine's plug

    Reference Dell d6420

    Win7

    Msoft word 2007

    printer itself is

    HP laserjet 200 color m276

    printer driver is

HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M276 PCL 6

I understand that this printer and driver is not identical to yours in itself, but the nature of these drivers makes it highly likely that this solution works for most of you

If this can help, someone else did post more because I'll probly do not sign in to this site I created this account just for this post and I hope to solve this annoying problem issue for many of you... .no necessary congratulations

    Here's what I have:

    System: WXP Pro SP2 v2002

    Material: MFP HP laserjet 1536dnf

Device Manager driver: scanner HP LJ M1530 series ; Driver date: November 16, 2009

MFP HP laserjet 1536dnf print keeps JZJZL () and various random characters garbled, I can only print if I turn it on and restart.

Another question: is there a way to stop all that is printing to the HP Toolbox.

I've already solved the problem and the scenario is like this. There was old installed printers and some PC print it to the old printer, having the same IP address, HP Laserjet MFP receives and print it with the characters of gaarbled.
