  We have two ranges DID with our provider: 02825911XX & 02829212XX

  02825911XX maps extension 11XX

  02829212XX 12XX expansion cards.

  We have 2 E1 lines 60 channels.

  Current configuration:

  CUCM <----MGCP---->Gateway (8.6.2) (2921) <======2 e1="====">carrier / Teleco.

  Question:

  When calling 11XX we get correct caller id 02825911XX.

  But when the 12XX we receive caller ID 02825911XX instead of 02829212XX.

  for example: when calling 1206 far end caller id watch 0282591106 instead of 0282921206.

  No problem in incoming calls on the two beaches.

  The external mask are configured correctly in the domain name.

  The debug ISDN q931 shows the correct caller until the gateway ID:

  Fixing ccapi inout & ISDN q931 debug. & Gateway config.

  I checked the configuration debug and gateway.

  These debugging come from gateway. The catwalk shows TX - Setup. Once we have sent installation information to the telephone company, I don't think that we can change the ID calls information. This means that we send correct calling Telco part number information (0282921206).

  May be that Telco is changing the number on their own party? Have you checked with Telco yet? If not, ask them what is the number of parties calling they get. You can do a live test and track same call with the telephone company engineer.

• MGCP Gateway help

  I have a site where they treat employees, from a point of view finance, as 2 companies.  For this reason, they had all their calls out different broken / taken while they can charge just every "company" on their part.  The last time that I am there I met a dealer and one of its engineers to voice said I could do this by creating 2 different MGCP gateways for the single router.  There may have been something that I missed in translation (Japanese), but I can't figure out how to make a second MGCP gateway for this router.

  Any ideas?

• ISDN bind-l3-Manager of ccm for the PRI is not taken in charge - MGCP Gateway

  Dear all,

  Ive tried to get my (Voice Gateway) VGW recorded with my CUCM_7.1

  I must add ISDN bind-l3-Manager of ccm in my serial interface. BUT THIS COMMAND IS NOT SUPPORTED

  The only similar to this command is bind-l3 ISDN q931.

  I tried to change IOS to c3825-spservicesk9 - mz.124 - 15.T10 to c3825-spservicesk9 - mz.124 - 24.T and it gives me nothing.

  Ive checked the document - https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-2682 and he says that a CSCed15644 bug is upward. Ive tried to do the troubleshooting steps and still I find myself in vain.

  Forward all your suggestions of urgency.

  I am trying to query Sybase of our Oracle database data and I use the gateway for Sybase. Or the environment:

  OK I thought about it.

  The Sybase I tried to connect is Sybase Sql anywhere and it is not supported by Oracle Sybase gateway.

  What I got was rather use the ODBC Oracle (need to install the Sybase ODBC driver) gateway and it works now

• Connection to DB2 DB2 DRDA gateway error

  Linux 2 node RAC system version 10.2.0.4. Installed DRDA for db2 LUW version 11.2 in a new House on the existing nodes of CARS. Installed and configured and followed notes 945879.1. Listener rebooted and tnsnames.ora configured successfully on both nodes. TNSPING works for the "SID" created dg4db2. Create a database link, and when I tested it by getting a simple count, I received the following error message:

  This error message refers to the wrong file. The referenced file is actually called HardwareCalibrationData.nivscal, and in 2011, in my view, it should be located in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\nivs but this can depend on the version of Windows that you are running.

  The error has been corrected in LabVIEW 2012 and now reads as follows:

  The version of the calibration file (HardwareCalibrationData.nivscal) is too old to mutate to the current version. Delete the file and recreate the calibration settings manually.

• MGCP gateway registration issue

  Hi all

  We have a router Cisco 2821 running c2800nm-advipservicesk9 - mz.124 - 24.T4.bin on this subject. We have configured it for MGCP as we have done for more than 20 locations.  It is connected via E1 PRI. CUCM servers are on 8.5.1. CUCM shows not registered but router says it is registered.

  I got the following situation:

  • on the router, I see that it is saved with the primary CUCM (via the Manager - see the ccm) and show mgcp displays oper active state
  • in the handlers call it shows not registered but I see the IP and assert a reset I can see interfaces goes down and back up again

  If it would be a display problem we don't worry about this but the E1 comes as show displays State ISDN:

  ISDN Serial0/0/0: interface 15
  DSL 0, the interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-net5
  L2 Protocol = 0x0000 L3 = MANAGER of CCM protocols Q.921 0 x 0003

  Is the reason why it is unregistered in CUCM State?

  Domain name on both sides match. We restarted the network services Cisco RIS for collecting data on all CUCM servers - without success.

  Router reload or reset via CUCM did not help at all.

  Any help on this is much appreciated as many users expect to call their customers.

  The url is visible inside the company VPN. Phones, when the 3G, through BES to reach the VPN. If I type the url in the browser application when, the 3G, it can very well be reached. However, the app in 3G, the connection fails with code 502 (gateway error). We looked through newspapers and it seems that the request does not reach BES; where it might be failing?

  The connection works perfectly fine when the phone is connected in wifi on an access point in the VPN. It works very well to other URLS not on VPN under 3G and wifi.

  If you run in a BES environment, and want to access something that's within the corporate network, you must use the suffix

  « ; deviceside = false '.

  otherwise, you are gong through the gateway to mobile operators, who of course has no access to the internal network.

  But there is a curve ball here.

  Once an application has attempted to access a network located outside the corporate network (like you did with ";) deviceside = true'), that the request is normally prohibited access URL within the network.  It is the problem of split-pipe.  The idea is that if an application could open connections inside and outside of the firewall, it could copy the data from the corporate network to the outside.  It is so restricted.

  So, if you change your current application to use '; deviceside = false ' and then try on a business device that already has had your application under running with. " deviceside = true', it will probably fail the problem of split pipe.

  To work around this, you have three options:

  (a) wipe the device and reinstall the OS and application

  (b) to obtain your BES administrator to allow the app to access both inside and outside

  (c) create a new application.

  Our database is configured in the character WE8ISO8859P15. We have installation-ed program a gateway to a ms sqlserver.

  If I create a query of tables having a column varchar2 (4000). I receive a connection to the oracle gateway error.

  This is because SQL Server is configured to Unicode. So to my question:

  Is it possible to change the init file to add a parameter taking Western Europe all of the unicode characters and converts them to WE8ISO8859P15.

  
  

  I know that we cannot take all the unicode characters. Actually, it isn't a limit of our database sqlserver configuration.

  Unfortunately If we want to do it now, we owe it to the trunk of the varchar2 (4000) in 2000. I think that there is more chance that things go wrong, then just choosing the characters WE8ISO8859P15.

  Sorry to insist here, but are you be sure that the source is a column of nvarchar2 (4000)?

  If the answer is Yes - the cause is very simple...

  Maximum precision of Oracle nvarchar2 is 2000:

  SQL > create table xxx (col1 nvarchar2 (4000));

  create table xxx (col1 nvarchar2 (4000))

  *

  ERROR on line 1:

  ORA-00910: specified length too long for its data type

  When you now want to map a nvarchar (4000), then your database Oracle needs a set of Unicode characters. Only when the Oracle database uses a set of Unicode characters, the gateway is able to map it to a data type long Oracle.

  In all other cases, you will be able to select from that particular column. This restriction is also documented in books by looking at the data type mapping section.

  A way around this limitation is to create in your database source, a view that throws the varchar nvarchar column (if possible) or to create a view on the side of source database that separates the content of that particular column into 2 separate columns (substring).
