  Not all programs that worked on Windows XP will run in Windows Vista or Windows 7.
  I suggest you try the compatibility mode to see if it helps.

  If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

  Use the following steps:

  (1) right click on the program

  2) click Properties

  3) click on the Compatibility tab

  (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

  If compatibility is not successful, then try and self-test program compatibility issues:

  If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware (www.vmware.com) Player and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

• Dysan3600 is driver settles not on Win7

  Dysan3600 driver moved not, nor any of the software on the CD, which is MGI PhotoSuite SE. I used the program for years on XP SP3. The strange thing is that he installed on Win8 no problem. I'm tired of Win8 and it's stupid interface and issues, so I went back to Win7.

  Is there a compatible with windows MGI Photo Suite 8.  I got it when I had windows 7 and it worked very well, but it will not install on my new computer with windows 8.  Help, please.  I really miss my photo program.

• Roxio photosuite 7 Platinum burn disc

  I decided to install roxio photosuite 7 Platinum back on my computer to make a floor photo, I have to say that I have not used for years. The problem I found is when I try to burn to disc it just won't do - I was wondering service Pack3 would be the culprit that when I origanally purchased the software box said xp sp1 please help

  Yes the burner works in other programs I checked Device Manager and roxio is listed on the recorder, the programe is about 7 or 8 years, well before the sp 2 and 3 I heard that some older programs are not compatible with these service packs - I was wondering if there was a way around this problem - I thought of right clicking on the icon Roxio and properies then in fashion compatibility - where you select to run the program in win 95 98 win 2000 win - the problem is it is windows xp version 2002 - I'm not sure of what would happen if I clicked on Win 2000.

  to answer your other question I don't know if the pramme supports export to another program.

  I have a new computer windows 7 64 bit laptop and lost the installation for my printer disc. (HP Photosmart C4180)

  I downloaded the necessary drivers etc HP which at first seemed to succeed only to find at the end of the installation, that should be deleted photosuite. (It could be called HP Solution Center) I need to be able to use the scanner.

  First step: clear temp directory

  1. Type %temp% term or search programs and files of field
  2. Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).
  3. Proceed to step 2 below

  Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

  1 download the drivers and full software features

  2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

  6. right click on the folder and select copy

  7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

  8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

  9 open the Util folder

  10 open the CCC folder

  11 start the uninstall_L4

  12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

  14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

• asynchronous call of dialog pop up and forget

  I don't really have experience with VI dynamic calls, so I would like to ask for help.

  Here is a (screenshot only) part of my MAIN VI, where the word is a VI contextual dialog box using the method "dynamic call and forget ':

  

  I convey only a single reference in this VI, the ref of the popup button, so when the user closed the window pop up, I re - activate this button on the MAIN façade. This dialog pop up as a graphical monitor function, it can update its chart using an ActionEngine which is a buffer. So please ignore the missing type defs and the ActionEngines, they are not relevant in this case. Find this contextual attached dialog box.

  In fact, my application just works, I just started having a few problems since when I included the 'MGI save and Restore Settings.vi' in this dialog box pop up, in order to save the graphic settings in a config file (the application which will serve as an exe built). When I close the pop-up VI, I see that the graphic settings are properly saved in the file *.ini under the Documents"" folder. However, when this file already exists, and I call this pop up VI, I get the following error (so when the VI MGI is triggered with the "Restore" action at the beginning of my VI dialog box):

  1. What I do is it OK? I mean to bring up this dialog box, is it OK to use "call and forget" method?
  
  
  2. When the user closes the popup VI Panel, it remains in the memory? I have a memory leak, or it closes correctly? (I think not...)

  The coordinates of the edge detection line is attached. How can I draw these two lines in an imageso line extends and catches up to the maximum length of the image. ? IE first extract the point of intersection of these two lines and look if it is less than the actual length of the image (for example for an image of 1040 X 740, the point of intersection should be behind / less than 1040)

  I want to read files txt large (about 1-8 MB) in memory.

  the structure of the file looks like this:

  The configuration files of NOR is notorious for its slowness.  It is generally not sensitive because you normally just read small amounts of data, but as soon as it's large structures, it is very sensitive.  OpenG has a config INI palette that allows you to read or to write something else that the low level is these screws NOR and it shows because it can be very slow.

  The solution is not to use these configuration screws instead I highly recommend the read/write of MGI nothing.  MGI says the chain of analysis from scratch and therefore it is super fast.  You can install the tools of MGI using VI Package Manager.

• Reshuffle / Interleave 2D Array

  Background information for the context:

  I know that the answer to this is somewhere out there, but so far I could not enter the right key words.  I set up a routine of analysis where I compare the monthly values by a category in which there are two "buckets" of information by month.  At the end of the day, this is all plotted on a graph to compare values from month to month.

  The question at hand:

  I built a 2D array that I want to interpolate a lot as a 1 d array.  If I [x, y] structure where I want to interpolate the second half of the first, which is the fastest way to do it?  That is to say, my values would be in the form [0, x / 2, 1, x / 2 + 1] while the values there would remain no mixed.  (Many as a kind of function in Excel where you sort by a single column and each value rearranges the sort column-based.)

  I'm not a computer scientist, but attempted (probably bad) using notation appropriate to help convey what I'm looking for, but if I didn't, please ask and I can clarify.  I hope to do this as effectively as possible, because these tables can be very large.  I'm also a big fan of the MGI, OpenG, GPower, pallets etc, so if there is something already developed I can use, I'm all for it.

  I was however very confused by the answers and trying to interpriate them properly.  Whelp, it turns out that I messed up my language by not being is not a CS.  I would have had to say that I am looking for a method of striping (not interpolate) table 2D by row or column.  I think I need to divide the table into two (remembering in my case there will always be an even number of indices), and then interleave the lines there.  I can foresee doing similar to the code below, but I'm sure that's not effective and is not adjusting well when my paintings become very large.

  Any thoughts you have on this design would be greatly appreciated.

• What is the best alternative to the database?

  I collect (alarm & meter) data of several standard features that have the memory and RTC.  Therefore, I must take into account the fact that the data collected will not time and I perhaps need to summarize data recently collected in existing records and then replace the record.  It is possible to reach about 50,000 files per month.  In addition, I add the data and chart hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, etc.  Playback speed is therefore very important for the interaction with the user.

  Can anyone recommend the type file or data management best practice for this?  I use LV 8.5, so would use TDMS but cannot replace records in this version.  Currently, I settled on MGI read/write anything, but it's the best solution?  I would like to avoid DB Connectivity Toolkit and don't think that I'd get an advantage of speed anyway.  I just need the best way to remove an individual folder, overwrite it and quickly navigate the entire file.

  Are there other tools in future versions of LV other than to crush the TDMS files?

  Consider SQLite, a very quick "database to a file.  wrapper of LabVIEW that I use is here; any necessary DB connectivity kit.   All the stuff you describe is easy in SQL.  Write speed is greater than 100 k per second timestamped readings, and the playback speed is higher.  You need to upgrade your LabVIEW 8.5, however.

• TDMS & comparison of Config files

  I'm not really new to the community, because I got a lot of queries that have already been asked before, and I found an answer here, so far. I studied up on top of TDMS (file > Group > Channel) and its conceptual hierarchy seems to be very similar to the configuration files (file > Section > key). Now, I think that it is possible to use the model TDMS for both configuration files apart from measurement results, but I thought I should ask...

  What are the advantages and disadvantages of TDMS Config files (*.ini) vs?

  I have not found so far any form of comparison between the two. I would like to personally exempt accessibility Notepad the file of configuration as a benefit because it would be best to restrict access to the system from unauthorized users settings.

  Yes, I would consider even using PDM to store key/value data because it is designed for streaming time series of data on the disk.

  I think that if you want the human readable config files then INI files are the way to go - especially with some functions in the MGI toolboxes for read/write anything (for example, the clusters as sections) in an INI file.

  If you want to protect the config file then I think I would probably recommend some kind of binary file format - probably something like a SQLite database like that lets you easily look up values. If you want to go further - place the file in a hidden place (for example % ProgramData %) and making a sort of reversible encryption of the file content would help protect content against unauthorized viewing/changes.

  By experience, using the read/write of MGI what it functions of INI files have been the best solution, we have developed with until we decide to consider using a SQLite database. Teh that if you Exchange cluster configuration, he manages to read the fields that are present and uses the default values that you specify if they are not done it is handy when you need to change the cluster in a future version. Certainly flatten LabVIEW functions XML don't do this - if the definition of type changes then I think it returns an error.
