Micro SD vs. SDHC

A microSDHC card fit the microSD on my LG RumorTouch cell? I know the difference of ability and the drive must be a microphone... just need to know if it will fit without any adapter.

Yes, a 'micro' card fits in any location of the 'micro', regardless of the device.

  • Micro SDHC not recognized Vista when the card is inserted in Sansa E250

    Hello

I have Sansa E250. I used to have the 1 GB microSD card and I was able to access it on my computer with XP.

Recently, I bought 4 GB micro SD and SDHC cards. Now I have Vista on my computer and when I connect the MP3 player with HLA card installed on a computer I'm not able to access removable drive of the card and I get an error message.

Is it a Vista thing? Is there some drivers or firmware that I need to install to be able to use my new card CD?

How do I install it on my Sansa?

    Thank you

I installed the Rockbox on my Sansa e250 and it works very well and the new 4 gb SD card works as well.

I can't load the image well then rockbox is on my presets of radi got all erased. But these questions are fine. I can always switch back to Sansa Firmware.

  • Card 32 GB not recognized

I recently bought a Micro 32 GB SDHC card for my Fuze. I tested with H2TESTW and it tested fine, with no error reported. Only problem, the "rocket" did not recognize the card when using Rockbox. I had a similar problem when I bought the 16 GB card. Is there a reason why the "rocket" does not recognize some SD cards compared to others? Are there different formats from SD cards? Thank you.

Is he recognized when using the (original FIRMWARE)? If it only occurs when you run Rockbox, seems only to speak your question on their forums, not here.

The Clip? What are the pro / con s to use?

Extremely small & compact. You can also consider the Sansa SlotMusic player. It's only $20 isn't huge loss if it gets stolen while you're in the shower or broken, but it only works on a card Micro SD or SDHC; no internal memory or edge. It has no display to break and works with an AAA battery. Cards 2 GB is a dime a dozen these days, and they hold enough music for several work-out sessions without repeating.

Both the Clip and the SM player have clips so that they can be attached to your clothing, and weighing vitually nothing, they shouldn't come clipped not slamming into the weight machine.

  • the microSD/microSDHC slot

For Sansa Fuze, can someone explain how to use the microSD/microSDHC slot.  I use Windows XP sp 2, and the firmware is V01.01.22A.

    Thank you.

Cards of memory come in different sizes, both physically and storage capacity. The 'Micro' is obviously the smallest phsically; the size of a little finger nail. Make sure that when you buy an it says Micro SD or SDHC or it does not. If she just called a SD card, chances are it's a normal size, commonly used in digital cameras. There are also maps of "Mini".

The SD standard goes up to 2 GB. After that, the new SDHC format (High Cgovern) is used. These range from 4 to 8 to 16 GB now, while a 32GB card will probably hit the scene later this year or early next. Pretty amazing when you see the physical size (or lack) of it!

One of these (SD or SDHC) can be used in the rocket. Loading music on it however, you must understand that your computer will see your player's internal memory and the card as 2 separate entities or players. So you determine where you want to place the files in. It is not a question of cluttering up your rocket and when it is full, the files will automatically be placed on the map. It is a misconception common & sense by the 1st time users or people new to the technology.

But as said before, the card simply slips into the slot. He can't go in one direction; place print & contact-side down. It is a mechanism to spring push - push. Push it in until it locks. It is now locked. The top edge of the map will be fairly SHORT (or just a little more) the housing of the drive. Push up until it clicks again and he gets loose and pushed by the spring out for enough fo you enter. There is no harm in leaving the card in there for long periods of time. In fact, it might be advantageous to do because he could preven dust from getting inside.

If you use MTP mode, your player will be displayed in Windows Explorer under the other. Double-click on it and you will see internal & external memory.

If you are using MSC mode, it will be under devices with removable storage (such as your CD & DVD discs). Your computer it will assign 2 drive letters, as F: and G:. The first will be your player; the second will be the memory card slot. It appears even if no card is inserted.

You can create a folder structure on the drive with a folder of music and Video folder for example, or you can simply load it all on willy nilly. The "rocket" will find and integrate the info of the song is on the screen seamlessly with music, etc., lists on the drive.

Location on map of music will play also seamlessly. In other words, unless you look at the list of songs and notice the small icon to the left of the title indicating that the file is located on the map, you will not be able to tell where the song. He'll just play like any other, even with the turned on Shuffle.

These blighters few are really in-expensive right now! Great deals can be found even on 8 GB cards. The's Sweet 16"there's still a bit expensive, but even they fell close to 50% of what they were when they came out last September.

These cards are a great way to 'upgrade' the memory capacity of your drive. And when some 'pod-head' dominates your reader, perhaps while you plug a card you can turn to him, smile, stand out your language and say: ' no, no! "

    because he's not got a!

  • Optimal allocation size Toshiba class 2 16GB Micro SDHC

    Hi-

Be gentle, please. I'm newly registered here and not sure I found the right forum to post this question.

I have a Micro SDHC 16GB class 2 new Toshiba card, just got today. Before that I used it and if it is still under warranty, I wanted to test it for authenticity with H2TestW program that requires that I format it all first.

Certainly, I want to keep the default fat32 format but what size of allocation of files is the best?

The card will be used especially in my Sandisk Clip more to play MP3 files. A quick glance shows most of these files to 5 500 to 10 000 KBs.

    Suggestions, please?

    Thank you.

    Hey Buddy,

I use different SD and SDHC cards for years and I always use the default settings for the allocation size. I never had no problem with it.

  • HP 1800 does not reflect the memory of 16 gb Micro SDHC

I just add a card Lexar 16 GB Micro SDHC for my new HP 7 1800 but don't see any increase in available memory.

Is that what the SDHC-compatible HP 7 1800?

The instructions that I found do not mention using the Micro SD slot. Not even the way to remove the card.

Anyone using a MicroSDHC card in their HP 7 1800?

    Thank you

    Jerry

Ok. I found that the card works. Apparently the HP 7 1800 had only 5.56 GB g available plus 14.91 GB the card. I thought that the 1800 came with 32 GB GB 5.56 available does not seem like a lot.

Also understand that the map is spring-loaded and pushing on it releases it.

  • Sansa Clip + with Sandisk Micro SDHC

Hi, I want to buy the Sansa Clip + and Micro SDHC 32 GB class 10 cards (specifically Sandisk MicroSDHC Card Ultra 32 GB class 10).

Someone can confirm the compatibility of these things or give me advice on the card should I buy 32 GB class10 because I read here Sansa Clip + have problems with class 10 cards.

just bought the hat card this week and it works very well for the me... until now.

The player is the Zip Clip. I have not yet tried in my Clip +.

  • Sansa Clip + and micro sdhc 4 GB class6

I have a problem with my micro 4 GB class6 sdhc, I bought some time in October. I used as storage of mp3 to my cell phone.

Since it is a basic phone what can I do to connect to the computer to drag and drop songs is via card reader, I later scanned to ensure that he is not infected with virus or anything if I know that my pc is clean.

the scan do not always go through. 4% and more it stops and do not complete the scan.

I go back to my computer and right-click on the icon of sdhc to check the properties. the computer can detect the sd card (because the icon is there), but it does not display the content and songs more. even the SD is not displayed. capacity of 0 KB.

I don't know if it is a virus, or maybe the lock on the card adapter switch has something to do with. Maybe I dragged songs while the lock is activated.

    What could be the problem?...

I did a format already, but in case where (just in case) the cause is a virus, or say that the map is broken it will affect my clip +?

BTW, I did not insert the card to my clip + so far...

Thank you very much in advance

Sometimes, a mobile phone will do things to a map to interfere with the use of the drive.  A solution was to reformat the card in the phone and then try again (and I could reformat and then again to the reader).

  • Is this true? SanDisk 32 GB, Micro SDHC card class 4

    Hello

SanDisk has recently changed all the speed class in many formats, such as SDHC and microSDHC.

Regarding the microSDHC 32 GB SanDisk class 2 has been improved until class-4, but in any case important to say that the class means it s minimum write speed guaranteed but not max. speed.

We did some tests of comparative analysis with the HC 32 GB class 2 microSD and the results were:

    Read 13 MB/s - writing 4-5 MB/s

    Results obtained with CrystalDiskMark 3.0

This proves that class-2 is on the minimum speed, because in this case the results said that this card is a Class-4 in fact that the write speed was about 4-5 MB/S.

Most of the stores have the 32 GB microSD class 2 in stock, and the class-4 is easier to find in the stores.

I put two photos of SanDisk microSD 32 GB class 2 and class 4

    Note that changed part number:

    SDSDQ - 032 G-E11M: microSD HC 32 GB class 2

    SDSDQM - 032G - B35: microSD HC 32 GB - class 4

    Here are the pictures:

And it's class-4 with the new small blister version:
