Micromax MMX 300 c EVDO (CDMA 2000 Rev A Modem) not detected in the operating system Windows 7.

I use Micromax MMX 300 c EVDO (CDMA 2000 Rev A Modem). It works very well in a machine (the Intel 915 motherboard) with Windows 7 operating system.

But not detected as modem CDMA 2000, in another machine (the Intel DG41TY motherboard) with the Windows 7 operating system.

Any solution?

Thanks in advance.

Myself finally settled the issue by installing "Windows Virtual PC with Windows XP mode".

Probably, all in all probably is a 16-bit program, and as such does not work on Windows 8.0/8.1 64 bit. In addition, the game seems to have 20 years or more. You can try running in compatibility mode, but I think that the game is dead. Hope this helps and if you need help please post and we will be happy to help you.

  • Tecra M2 mapping of the keyboard in Windows 2000

    Hi all

I have a Tecra M2 on which the WinXP was removed and replaced by a new installation of Windows 2000 SP4 (I prefer not to go into detail as to why this took place).

My problem is that the keyboard mapping is not correct under Win2000, for example if I press shift + 2 I get a @ and not a '. '. The problem exists with almost all the characters of Maj (' |,-,', ~,', ', @, #, etc..).

Note that I don't use any software that remaps the keyboard.

Does anyone know how this bee fixed?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

I have the same problem on my laptop, but I don't have time to look at the problem until I saw this ad...

Here is the answer for Windows XP, I guess it's the same for Windows 2000, because the systems are similar.

Under start/setting/control panel, you will find the icon "regional and Language Options". Double click it and you get a new window. Select the folder "Language" then "Details". A new Windows pop up and from there you can select 'Add' services 'install '. Select your language to enter the menu drop-down, then click on 'OK '. Ensure that the value "default input language" is correct, then click 'OK' and click on 'OK '.

Normally, the operating system needs to restart to set the hardware!

Your keyboard should work correctly after the next system startup.

Let me know if it works for you

    I have a few question.

    I bought new Toshiba Qosmio X 300 - 11W

First I saw that Vista runs on very long time. I think just because of the fingerprinting system.

Another thing is when laptop goes to sleep mode, after which there is no sound at all.

    And finally a hope.
Keyboard FN key does not work correctly.
I can't Sun screan and swich wide touchpad and wifi as well.

    And one more thing.

What do you think about upgrade BIOS if windows?
On the web page is from Toshiba said that thet recommend this path. But the last time I did it with my satellite phone that didn't work because Northon Securitu system.

It there was nothing written on this topic an i damaged my laptop. It took a week to get it sorted.

    Thank you.

    Michal

I have the same problem with the same specifications (X 300 - 11W)

It takes about 1 min and 40 sec to see finger log - on, after that it takes almost 2 minutes to work.
Qosmio g45-av690 (my previous laptop) takes about 20 seconds to see finger to logon and after 40 sec to works!

I have upgraded the OS from Vista Ultimate, off some Toshiba Utilities and software that starts in place under windows but... that 15 seconds less...!
I was thinking about BIOS, but I got the last version 1.30...

    What can I do?

  • Portege 2000: How to add device in Device Manager base system?

    Hello

I'm trying to implement the SD card reader on my Portege 2000 running the Windows XP operating system.

I downloaded and installed the common modules and my BIOS has not updated.

I downloaded the SD host controller driver, but can't install it because I have no base system device manager for devices by reading me.

How do I get this so I can allow my SD card reader?

    Thank you, happy new year

    Becky

    Hello

Base system device is usually the SD card controller. If you just install it should correct the problem.
SD host controller driver should be installed first. After the SD host controller driver is installed, you can install the SD memory card driver. The driver can be installed as follows:

    SD host controller driver,
    1. from the [start] menu, select [Settings], then click [Control Panel].
    2. double-click [System], and select the [Hardware] tab.
    3. click on [Device Manager].
    4. double-click on [device Base System].
    5. Select the [driver] tab and click [set to update driver].
    6. click [next] and select [display a list of drivers that are known...].
    7. click [next] and select [ECS] in [hardware types].
    8. click on the [disc] button.
9 locate the folder "{CD player}: Windows XP Pro\Toshiba SD Host Controller Driver" and follow the instructions on the screen.
    10. Finally, restart the Windows

For the SD memory card driver

After you have installed the SD host controller driver,
    1. Insert the SD memory card into the SD slot.
2 operating system detects and starts to install the driver from SD card.
    3. specify the INF ({CD player}: Windows XP Pro\Toshiba Driver SD Memory Card) and forward the installation process.
4 copy the file SDDEVMGR.dll in the Windows system directory.
Note that the system directory means \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 for Windows XP.

  • Re: 8 GB Ram did NOT work in the Qosmio X 300 - 14 p

    Hello

    I wanted to spend my Qosmio X 300 - 14 p of Ram of 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) up to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB).

I ordered a fitting 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) the value of Atelco, where this set of 8 GB costs 155,-Euro
(while in the shops in thoshiba 4 GB is more than 300, - means 8 GB more than 600,-, ridiculous). :

    I ordered this one:
    8 GB - Kit Corsair ValueSelect SO-DIMM PC3 - 8500S CL7

This was exactly the necessary RAM, 2 x 2 GB, still are the same.

    PROBLEM:
the x 300 wouldn't start when 8 GB of ram are connected
(same tzhen does not start, screen stays black and nothing happens (you don't hear departure of fans and hard drives etc.)).

the merchant first thought, the qosmio is reserved to the maximum of 4 GB completely, but I was able to convince him that this is not true.
then he assumed "branding" (only some modules work).

but it was also not true, because the two modules to 4 GB worked when connected only.
the two modules worked in places, housing upper and lower.

even weirder: I could plugin 1 x 4 GB and 1 x 2 GB and it would start perfectly and appear 6 GB (6144 MB).
He has also worked in any combination (any module in any location).

My bios is 2.10, the latest toshiba provides.

the dealer said the corsair modules are good modules that work everywhere else, and as we have seen, only two of them worked (and in the combination of 6 GB: 1 x 4 GB + 1 x 2 GB).

the question now is: WHY it did not work with 8 GB (2 x 4 GB).
    ================================================

every time we tried, screen remained black and nothing happened, qosmio was dead.

We also have not found any bios setting, as the manual does not say something like that.

someone has an idea what is the reason and
    what I could do to get 8 GB to work in X 300 - 14 p (PQ32E...)?

both modules where the good, the two worked alone in any accommodation, only two 4 GB modules would not work either.

BTW., it was packed like a 8 GB SET (in modules of 2 x 4 GB), they had the same series and were made to work together.

Finally, we were out of ideas.

    is this a known issue?
is there a tweak or workaround?

I want my 8 GB, what can I do to make it work?

    everyone there uses the x 300 - 14 p with 8 GB (or even another 300 x)?

    help appreciated.

    Thank you

    q3u

It is not just to write this review in your last posting. You should be happy that Akuma has spent his time chatting with you and try to offer an own opinion.

If you want the real answer contact Toshiba service and clarify this point with the professionals. If you n t as offered here answers, maybe you'll like have professional opinion and exact explanation, what can be the problem.

Is that each RAM module will not work with every model laptop and there is a problem of cheap product and problem is compatibility.
Many people have reported that in the past, report you it now and I do not know in the future, we will have several similar messages here.

    So, what's your problem now?
You want to have good workbook or you are focused on saving your money?

I checked the specification for the Qosmio x 300 - 14 p and you can confirm that you can improve up to 8 GB. Toshiba recommends using 4 GB modules compatible with the PA3377U-1M4G part number. This module has been tested and it will work. You can also buy the Kingston high quality module. It also works.

To be honest, I never heard of Corsair. I only use Kingston.

  • need of five advantages and disadvantages of the windows 2000 operating system

I'm looking for five the advantages and disadvantages of windows 2000 for my children ok operating system

I can't get to five of each, but...

Windows 2000 has been designed more as an OS company than a House, so should be the characteristics that probably would not need a home user. Plus it's really, REALLY old that dare go, and there is no support for it (end of July 2010). There is not much more for new audio and video devices driver support. It is not really designed for the game, if that's what they have to.

You do not mention their age and what level of expertise they have. Don't forget that with EOS, there is no update security more released for it.

  • can we install windows 2000 on the i3 system

Depends on if you can get the drivers for your Windows 2000-compatible hardware; you need to verify that hardware manufacturers laicists site to check the drivers. Most of the hardware manufacturers are not even the creation of drivers for Windows XP that is newer than Windows 2000.
