  • the only marking on it is the name of "Microsoft" in the upper tank, no part number or other foreign brands;
  • the internal PCB has benchmarks in Japanese;
  • the sensor is a potentiometer without end, not an optical sensor;
  • the ball is solid textured steel;
  • Yes, those are real ball bearings where we would expect Teflon pads to be now;
  • the DB9 connector is (with 7 exposed pine) and not the later PC RS232 standard female connector for devices.

  At what age has this beast, and what the material was intended to host?  It seems pretty likely it isn't a PC, a Macintosh, IBM, nor even a LISA... perhaps an Apple I or II or something even more obscure?

  Right-click on print spooler and select stop

  Wait for Windows to stop the spooler

  Close the window

  Press the Windows flag key + R to open the run

  Type Devmgmt.msc

  Press Ok

  Click on the + sign next to the Ieee... compatible printer

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Click on the + sign next to the imaging device

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Click on the + sign next to printers

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Click on the + sign next to Bus USB controllers

  Right-click on the driver and select uninstall

  Restart your computer.  Windows will reload the printer drivers drivers update from the manufacturer's website.

  Start > type Services.msc

  Press enter

  Scroll down to print spooler

  Right-click on print spooler and select start

  Wait for Windows to start the spooler

  What version of PowerPoint are you using?  2016 desktop applications are fully compatible with Photos and show your library of Photos in the photo browser, but the older Office 2011 cannot display the photo library.  If you have an older version and want to use the photo browser, update.

  Instead of broadcast, you can simply select photos in photo and use "file > export" to save your photo album in a folder on your desktop. Then drag the photos in this folder to PowerPoint.

  If you are already running Office 2016 but still don't see photos in the photo browser, check, if your current photo library has been activated in the library of the system.   The option ' Photos > Preferences > general > use as a system library "should be greyed out. And if your photo library is a library iCloud, enlarge the photos in pictures, to force a download from iCloud, until you try to use the photo in other applications.

  Don't you see not peripheral compatible HID in one of these places?  Look in the Device Manager, programs and features/uninstall programs
