  I advise to use the repair for Office Diagnostics feature.

  Method 1: Run Detect and repair on the Help Menu

  On the Help menu in any Office program, click on detect and repair.

  Click Start.

  Note to restore the shortcuts to programs on the start menu, make sure Restore my shortcuts by repairing box check is selected.

  Method 2: Run detect it and repair to add / remove programs

  Click Start and then click Control Panel.

  Double-click Add / Remove Programs, click Microsoft Office 2003, and then click on edit.

  In the Microsoft Office 2003 Setup dialog box, click on reinstall or repair and then click Next.

  Click on reinstall Office or detect and repair errors in my Office installation, and then click on install.

  Note If you choose detect and repair problems in your Microsoft Office installation, click to select restore it my shortcuts on the Start Menu check box to rebuild your Microsoft Office shortcuts

  Hello rwhard, welcome.

  My suggestion would be to insert your disk in Microsoft Office, and then try to perform an automatic repair. Try this:

  1. click on START
  2. click on "Control Panel."
  3. double-click on "programs & features".
  4. click on "Microsoft Office...". "and select Edit
  5. Select "repair".... "in the context menu and go through the wizard
  6. after the repair, restart your computer and try to update again

  If this does not work, I would say that simply hide you the update if you are not using Outlook.

  1. click on START
  2 type "Windows Update" (without the quotes) and press enter
  3. search for updates, and then click to view will want as an option so that you can manually select the updates to be applied
  4 right-click the two updates, then select "hide."
  5. There is no button apply, so it just close the window, and then restart your computer

  I am trying to activate Outlook 2003 with Vista and I got the following error message: 0 x 80042108.  He managed to find Gmail, but couldn't connect.  Vista is not compatible with gmail?  I have a problem with the Windows Vista Explorer I get a "Windows Explorer (not answer) message - very frustrating."  Any suggestion or help out there?  Thank you!

  It is a common problem that has nothing to do with Windows 7.  Go into "start |" Run ", enter the line:"

  Outlook.exe /ResetNavPane

  You can use the synchronization PIM tool leads to sync your Palm OS device to Outlook. You don't have to change the settings in Outlook.

  Once the data in Outlook, you can synchronize Outlook with your device.

  After having changed, Outlook will become the value by default until you pass DB sync PIM led which will then become the value by default until you change synchronization tool again.

  I get this error message.  I did the microsoft fixit program and removed from the registry.  Thisd worked now for a few days then I got the error again.  I kept getting the error every few days, but now as soon as I use it and set up account I get the error.  Help was written for windows XP.  I was getting the error on windows vista occationally and all the time in windows 7.  I so get frustrated being that this error arround for years.  I have no idea of what keeps corrupting my pst, but it becomes crazy.

  After using a Palm for 10 years, I recently spent a BB Curve 8330 and never looked back.  I'm trying to figure out where my data files etc., contacts, notes and calendar Outlook so I can back up the files.  I know that I can make a backup using BB Desktop Manager, but I'm also curious about where the data files are stored.  I use Windows XP.
