  Step 1: Start the computer in Mode safe mode with networking.

  Hi and welcome to the forums of Palm.

  First some background: when installing Palm Desktop detected you have Outlook so it assumes you want to synchronize with it. This is why it is currently set up to synchronize with Outlook.

  Now, the fix: have the Palm Desktop conduits. Here's how:

  1. On the PC, go to the Start Menu
  2. Select all programs
  3. Select Palm
  4. Select led sync PIM
  5. Select sync with Palm Desktop

  Who will put the conduits to sync with Palm Desktop rather than with Outlook.

The main server wants to open a new account in Thunderbird, but it means that I lose all the data from the old account.

  Create folders in the "Local folders" intends to organize e-mail.
  Move all the emails from the email account in folders in local folders.
