  Hi, I have a really strange question, basically, since Thursday 2 users have trouble opening a project properly document, but a user is able to open the document correctly and use it very well. They all run the same version of office and also patched. I tried uninstalling, ccleaning and resettlement project on one of the defective machines, but still no luck at all. It's really difficult to explain, but basically the options of the menu drop-down do not work for a single column. Now, it wouldn't be a problem to recreate the options, we tried it, but after closing and opening the document, a few times more the problem returns on 2 of the 3 machines that use the file. I tried to restore some versions of the document, one of the Thursday where he was working and I also tried as a test to restore the previous version of the document in the cliché but they both had the same problem.   Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

  I have a thick installation of Office 2010 on the target workstations. From what I've read, this is an issue that has been resolved with the latest version of ThinApp, which I am running.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a case open with VMware and so far, they showed me the KBs, I had already read...

  My recipe for the installation:

  1 copy the VM build sources of installation of Access 2010.

  2. turn off the network

  3. pre-scan performance

  4. take the snapshot

  5 install C:\Office access (I created an MSP file, but I also tried with a manual installation with the same result).

  6. Open Access 2010, disable update checking, make sure it is NOT turned on, press F1 to start Help menu, and then close.

  7. usually, I activate the network here, run a windows update to get the latest updates for Access, then disable the network. After verification it is not yet enabled. I also tried without doing this step, the same result.

  8 execution postscan

  9 remove history %, % %, % % files Cookies Cache Internet fonts (tried without this step as well)

  10 copy the files captured in my network share and then start editing configs.

• Delete "Check for Updates" Microsoft Office 2010 - GPO

  I'm working on the packaging of various components of Microsoft Office 2010, such as the shared components, the Office Software Protection Platform Service, Visio (all flavors) and project (Standard and Pro).  I wanted to delete "Check for Updates" in the Help menu.  I installed the Office administrative templates on my machine to capture, added models to gpedit.msc and open administration-> Microsoft Office 2010 templates-> disable UI elements-> "disable the commands on the file tab | Help»  I ran a prescan, then I activated the strategy, checked the box to remove the "Check for Updates" and click OK.

  I open Visio and checked that the 'Check for Updates' button is greyed out.  I closed my Visio and performed a scan of post and saved the project.  I looked in all the files in the registry text.  I pulled the text below in the file HKEY_CURRENT_USER.txt, added to the lower part of the same file in my project of exisitng Visio, run build.bat, cleared out the old sandbox, launched Visio, and the button is grayed.

  My question: this application will encounter problems with Group Policy objects, or the complete isolation on these entries mode settings will be sufficient to keep the setting?

  If specified in your package (in the virtual environment) it will be used. Something virtual will win all the conflicts with local elements (in this case deployed GPO registry keys). If you specify a setting normally applied GPOS in your package there no way to replace it by using Group Policy objects...

  Hello ScottRey, please try this: enter about: config in the firefox address bar (confirm the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named plugins.load_appdir_plugins.   Mozilla only stores the details of the latest version of a small number of plugins, these being the most widely used plugins such as Flash and Adobe Acrobat. For these plugins analysis will show if you have the latest version.

  For other plugins, including the Microsoft Office plugin, Mozilla does not have details of the latest version and instead it displays a search button, that when clicked will perform a Google search. It displays the search button even if you have the latest version of the plugin.

  Follow the steps below to scan to Microsoft Office 2010.

  1 open the folder Microsoft Office 2010

  2. open the folder Microsoft Office 2010 tools

  3. click on Microsoft Clip Organizer (step 1)

  4. once the organizer opens, click on file/Add Clips Organizer / from a scanner or camera (step 2)

  5. make sure that your printer is in the window of the unit, otherwise you will need to click the drop down arrow to choose your printer.

  6. click Insert to scan the picture or document (step 3)

  7. once the scan is completed close to the application of the Organizer

  8. open a Word Document and then select the Insert tab

  9. click on the button clip art (step 4)

  As much as I know MS Works and MS Office packages preinstalled are trial versions.
  It is not a full version which can still be used.

  As far as I know to buy the full version if you want to use it ever time.

  It's a SCAM! Microsoft does not make that neither have they partners that do and don't they hire contractors or individuals or even to find volunteers to do. There are probably thousands of these companies out there do every day - we get two or three posts like this (or more) each day ask about it. You are lucky who have recognized the scam enough not to be sucked in and eventually identify theft, infections, hacking your computer, convince you to buy software or services you either did not need or that do not really exist at all and all sorts of nefarious stuff. You'd be surprised how much contact us AFTER THAT that they realized they had been duped asking what to do. Don't waste time talking to these people, not give them any personal information it is, don't be fooled by what they can get allows you to see on the computer - in fact, not do anything they suggest on your computer or even to visit Web sites they recommend and for the love of God don't give them access to your computer.

  Microsoft knows this is happening, but with these companies popping up like dandelions, or closing and changing names when discovered and operating mainly from abroad, it would take an army of lawyers to sue each other. They do the best they can, but they are just too many and more added every day. People need to pay attention to these things. They occur not only by telephone, but also by e-mail, instant messaging, mail and all the ways imaginable. Forget not that Microsoft doesn't this and hang up or remove the emails or messages or mail from someone claiming that they do because they know the information on your computer or that you want to get information from you to confirm your account so that it will not be closed and asking you your name of user and password and all sorts of other personal information. Microsoft DO NOT!
