Looks like you may have malware. run a scanner like malwarebytes malware.

    no real problem:

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

    Once downloaded, run the tool.

Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.

Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message.

  • I'm having the same problem: Microsoft says my Windows 7 is not genuine, but I know that it is?

  • My windows product key is not valid.

    Hello

My windows product key is not valid. It shows that I don't ' have a genuine windows, and so I entered the product key to activate

and its not to validate. It was workiing before, just do not know what happened.

    Help, please.

    Thank you!

I wanted to tell the name of version (e.g. Windows 7 Home Premium) printed on the sticker.  Is the version currently installed on the PC of the same version?  Check in Control Panel > system page.  The number is the ID of the product that is not supposed to be the same as the key.

If the versions are identical, then the problem is a bad character entered, almost always.

If the product key is readable, then you can certainly use it to Clean install Windows Upgrade 10. Look over the steps and ask in return if you have any questions.

  • Windows product key is not valid

I turned on my laptop and it says that my Windows product key is not valid I got it, but it won't work

    any ideas?

    Hello

You don't give us much information about the OS. Is - this detail Windows? Where do you have a serial number? Looks like you enter an incorrect serial number (fake)

  • Windows 7 key does not match current Windows SKU

I bought 2 copies of Windows 7 Home Premium a online retailer which has a badge of software Microsoft Geniune. Just installed a high tower HP 4515 s workbook and when I entered the key - it would not constantly give this message"Windows 7 key does not match current Windows SKU"

During the installation we chose "Custom (Advanced) Option" as it was not an upgrade - my lap top was new with no operating system on it.

I tried to enter both keys where they were mixed, but not joy.

Please help if you know what I did wrong.

    Thanks in advance

    Sanya

  • Windows 7 Build 7601 not authentic on brand new computer

Purchased my Lenovo to Fry mid October 2012.  Have already experienced several BSOD right after that MS updates were installed every time.  A few days ago, I met several BSOD right after that the Windows updates were installed.  On the last BSOD, I get the message Windows 7 Build 7601 not authentic.  Nothing I tried as suggested on screen worked, amounts to the same thing.  I am a student full time online.  Fall semester ends on Sunday, December 16, and I'm way now behind on all my homework back and my final exams in all categories.  It does not help and I have not the time to take my computer to Fry for them to take a look.  All my data is stored here.  In addition, I tried to restore to another time, when you restart the message was still there then I turned off and when rekindled later it had disappeared, but returned for the next day.  I tried to restore againn but this time it won't go away.  I don't know where my product key is, as it is not on the computer itself.  It may be on a manual but I have since moved and had the movers help me and they put things in the back of my storage unit or in boxes not recognized.  So until I go through everything in my storage unit I'm screwed.  Please help as soon as possible because it's really me screwing.

    Thank you

    Denise

You install the driver from Windows Update updates?

If so, I would avoid their installation in the future and instead to download any available hardware updates directly from the manufacturers Web site.

I also suggest that when you get a new computer and you start for the first time, you must create a system restore point.

As each new Windows 7 PC should come with a COA sticker that is attached to it, this is one evidence of a genuine license installed on the machine. If you bought it on shelf, its possible someone could have pulled off the sticker.

Always check for a real sticker or buy any of the machine.

It seems that you have bad luck with Fry, FRY well their business and the purchase of another where, there is nothing particularly special to their topic. Try to buy directly from the manufacturer online or try another store, if you live close to a Microsoft Store, you can go.

Sorry for all the problems that you are experiencing, we are just volunteers here who are trying to help other users of Windows.

  • I get a message that my Windows Security Center is not on, but when I go to the center of the Action it won't let me turn it on

I get a message that my Windows Security Center is not on, but when I go to the center of the Action it won't let me turn it on.  What should I do?

    Hello

    · You have a third-party security software installed on the computer?

    · What is the error message that you receive the error code when you try to turn it on?

    · Do you remember all the recent changes on the computer before the show?

    · What is the service pack installed on the computer?

    Follow the methods below:

    Method 1:

Make sure that the Security Center service is configured properly, and then start the Security Center service. To do this, follow these steps:

    a. click on start, click on run

    (b) in the Open box, type services.msc

    c. on the right side of the window, locate the Security Center service in the list of services.

    d. right click on Security Center, and then select Properties.

    e. in the drop-down list startup type, select Automatic (delayed start).

    f. under service status, click Start.

    g. click on apply, click OK, and then close the Services window.

    Method 2:

Run the verification and virus scan online if any malware or virus detected on the computer activity. You can run the scan for viruses online from the link below: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

NOTE: Make sure that you select the correct version of the operating system before downloading the scanner)

There is no such thing as Windows Vista 2009 or 2010 Windows Vista.
Are you actually referring to Microsoft Office 2009 and 2010?

Depends entirely on this laptop you have. If it has a 64-bit processor
You can use 64-bit Windows. If a 32-bit CPU, you can't.

If you don't know you have, hold down the Windows key and press
Break | Break. It will tell you if you have a 32-bit
    processor or 64-bit processor.

If it is a new machine call or go to circuit city and get them fixed.  If they sold you the laptop, indicating that it included Windows XP then the onus is on them that provide you a valid COA and the product key.
