  I installed Mac OS this morning and activated the iCloud Drive documents folder Sync feature.

  After a few questions I have disabled this feature before my Documents had been synchronized in iCloud.

  Then I restarted my Mac and ALL MY DOCUMENTS are gone, the My Documents folder is totally empty.  I have a backup from Backblaze, but it will take ages to do a restore more than 350 GB.

  However, the amount of free space on my main Mac hard drive is about the same as it was before I installed Mac OS.

  So I wonder if my data is always there, but hidden or moved into a temporary folder any. That is why I can get my data without having to spend the next week for download all my data?

  After doing the full recreated factory reset your phone will be clean and ready for use with the root folder. But... demonstration videos and examples of photos are not part of the firmware. It's cleaned depending on content of available region until the phone is factory or user deletes them.

  So to recover these files, you need to find any other user with the same phone as you and kindly ask him to share these files with you (if these file sharing is legal in your country).
