Microsoft Vista

I'm getting more and more frustrated with Vista (64-bit) and driver compatibility issues.  It is advisable and what I can uninstall Vista (64-bit) and install Vista (32-bit)?

Thank you.

Can you describe your compatibility problems?

Here is a good site to confirm your compatibility problems with your applications and your hardware devices:

As much as I know Toshiba offers almost all laptops with the recovery CD.
This CD contains the pre-installed operating system, Toshiba driver, tools, utilities and additional software as WinDVD, etc.

Simply said, all preinstalled stuff that you can find on the Toshiba laptop are stored on the recovery CD.

I tried to open the Microsoft Vista Task Launcher to update a file.   Got an error saying some files had been lost or deleted or something else and I need to reinstall.  Then I opened the disc to reinstall the operating system and reinstalled the operating system.  Now I can't find anything about it either — music, photos, files, contacts, nothing.  I don't even have the software I had installed.  How can I uninstall the operating system, I reinstalled?

    Hello

When you reinstall the operating system, the hard drive is wiped clean of everything.

It's like starting all over, when he was in new condition.

See if you now have a windows.old folder.

If you do, which should contain your data: pictures, music, etc.

Programs need to be reinstalled. starting from the original media (CD, DVD or download Net).

Should Microsoft Vista drivers operate printer Brother HL-1240? I recently downloaded updates for Vista, and now I can no longer print on my printer Brother HL-1240. Updates are perhaps the cause of this problem? If this isn't the case, please let me know if I get the problem somewhere else.

    Hello

Your question is could a Windows Update may be charged a wrong Brother Printer Driver? Yes.

One way to know is to look in the history of updates to see what has been installed and uninstall then one that seems incorrect.

If you are an update of the Microsoft printer driver note that Microsoft updates pilot equipment for other manufacturers are not normally updated.

    Here's how to uninstall specific updates;

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/remove-an-update

If an update is the problem and stop it reinstall > list of updates to install > right click on the incorrect update > UAC prompt > and then click Hide.

    See you soon.

p.s. Always get the latest updates of the driver from the hardware manufacturer.

Also would it be a good idea if above does not work to download the last direct Brother printer driver; If necessary reinstall your printer...

    Hey Miamigal

What do you mean by restoring the system

System Restore is going back in time with the settings of vista which does not affect the data

system recovery means that you reinstalled vista, back to factory standards how you bought, which wipes everytrhing hard disk

If the system recovery has been made chances of finding data are very thin, unless you pay a lot of data recovery experts

You can try the program in the link before contacting the below data recovery experts
