• Error message of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library without program listed as the source of the error.

  I have a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error message, but no program is listed as the source of the error... the only entry is "program: C:\...» ».   I am running XP Service Pack 3 on a HP Mini.  HP support center suggests that a driver is not loaded, or is corrupt and suggests also that I have to reinstall the program.  It is impossible, however, if the program in question cannot be determined.  Any advice?

  What is your system brand and model (mini HP something)?

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

  There may be some clues in the event where log Viewer, but has first:

  Microsoft offers several different versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ distributables.

  For their need for some of your applications or make install does not mean that you will make any C++ programming, but some applications need some of the runtime components and libraries installed with just distribution C++ files (it is not the whole development package).

  It is also possible to have multiple versions of the distributables C++ installed on your system - I installed 7, but you do not have to many.  Different programs that you install may require different sets of files to work.

  Take a look in Add/Remove programs and see what, if any, versions of Microsoft C++ Redistributables you have installed right now.

  The latest version is the version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, so if you don't have that, I would start by download and install from here:

  http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=8328 (this is the 32-bit version)

  If you see already that you have version 2010 installed in Add/Remove Programs, just uninstall it, reboot and reinstall it from the download, then view the side of things.

  Always restart after installing new software because that will eliminate the stupid question "did you restart your system" could happen later...

• Cannot install microsoft visual c ++ runtime of the 2015

  Hello
  I can't install microsoft visual c ++ runtime 2015, during the attempt he stucks at 100% for hours. I have to manually cancel.
  I have tryied uninstalling all previous microsoft visual c ++ runtimes, does not help...

  It is Windows 7 N (for students).

  Here's what I suggest you do:

  Install the following updates on your computer and then try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015.

  (i) Update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB2999226)

  (ii) Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows

Please contact the team of management applications for more information. Once I get this message that I can't get beyond it. In fact, the only way I can boot into safe mode to remove the battery for a while and let it flow. If I didn't, then it starts to screen messages. Sometimes of safe mode, I'm able to turn on real protecion, shut down the computer, and it starts normally. Even if I have problems with MSE initially alone, 2 appear to be connected. As soon as the computer is put to sleep, breaks down on its own or stops that I'm back in power out of nowhere I had some restorations system. One who worked, the other has not, but no matter what I do, I can't keep the problem solved. Oh and when I tried to find information about Microsoft Visual... .the messages I read talked about the location displayed in this message. There is no location given when it happens on my computer. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time.

  Unfortunately, it seems that you have a bad hard drive. I suggest that you start by replacing it and re-install Windows.

  I don't know where to post this option for assistance. A couple of weeks, I started to have problems with Microsoft Security Essentials. The program said that it could not turn on real-time protection. This operation returned because the time limit has expired. I followed the instructions to restart by typing services.msc, then click start to start the service by choosing Microsoft Antimalware Service, properties, choose automatic or stop, and then start. It wouldn't be long before the service stops again. I did 2 restorations system. One of the dates worked briefly, the other did not work at all. It still would not begun.

  Now, I get the following message: Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime LIbrary, this application has requested the execution in an unusual way. For more information, contact the application support team. There is no location in this message, and it appears once the computer is completely closed and powered up. I have to start it in safe mode, or I am totally unable to get windows sign in screen. Once I start it in safe mode, I, once again, am responsible to activate the time protection real Microsoft Security Essentials. More often then not I can't turn it on at all. When I am able, it isn't long before that I'm right back where I started, could not start windows normally.

  Try to put your computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem persists. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. This article describes how to solve problems in Windows Vista or Windows 7 by performing a clean boot.

  Steps to put your computer in a clean boot:

  1. click on Start
  2. type msconfig in the Search box and press ENTER.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

  1. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  2. under Selective startup, clear the Load Startup items check box.
  3. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.
