Microsoft will solve the problem of 'Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000'?

Because the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 scroll wheel is more fluid than the other mice, and is not "on the points of many applications (including Picture Viewer from Microsoft in Windows 7)" are not recording movement in the scroll wheel :(

These applications will record the movement when you flick madly (exaggerate your move), but on the tread of the wheel normal, nothing happens.

After research, I understand that this is because many applications read the signal coming to the "click" or "bump" a wheel of traditional scrolling to 120 units of movement.

It seems that the fluid motion in the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 sends in increments of 30 or 40 units and these programs don't scroll unless they get a signal of 120 (that's why you have to flip through wildly).

It's sad because it means that I don't like the mouse and I won't buy Microsoft again unless they fix it!

I recently bought Microsoft Wireless 4000 Mouse for my laptop DELL Latitude E6410. The laptop came with the default value to the pointing device setup application. I don't have Microsoft Intellipoint software. I have Win7 64 bit.

Here are the problems with the scroll wheel I noticed when I bought a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 4000

(o) the scroll wheel does not scroll through the items of the combobox when the combo did NOT fall down, but has the input focus.

for example, control panel-> mouse-> pointers-> 'Plans' combobox.

(o) the scroll wheel does not scroll the MS Office 2007 Ribbon.

(o) in Word 2007, the Ctrl + wheel does not zoom out

(o) the scroll wheel does not scroll the XML Notepad 2007

Solution:

This solution is not mine - it was on the internet already.

It worked for me.

I write this with additional measures for "how to get there."

Go to the properties of the mouse-> Hardware tab

Select the problematic mouse in the list "mouse HID-compliant".

Click 'properties '.

Go to the Details tab

Select the "Device Instance path" in the combobox control.

A value is displayed, for example: HID\VID_045E & PID_0745 & MI_01 & COL01\8 & 5538EC & 0 & 0000

Note This value.

Open the registry editor and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\HID\VID_045E & PID_0745 & MI_01 & Col01\8 & 5538ec & 0 & 0000\Device Parameters

The "Device Instance path" is the path of the "reg" key that corresponds to this instance of the mouse.

In the device settings, add the following keys of reg DWORD (32 bit)

HScrollHighResolutionDisable = 1

VScrollHighResolutionDisable = 1

Delta = 120 (decimal)

Remove the radio and put it back (this type of re - initializes the driver). You can choose to restart the PC, too - no matter.

It should work.

Initially, I didn't put the key "Delta". But because of this, it was scrolling as if I pressed the keys 'Home' and 'End' - that is, all the way to the bottom or the top. After the 'Delta' key, it worked.

    My Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 was working the other day and now won't work.  I tried batteries, turning power on and off, press and hold the bottom of the mouse USB and taking even the USB key.  I have a Windows 7 computer, I don't know how relevant this is, but I thought I should put it here anyway.  ANYONE HELP!

    remove the USB transceiver

    Open the DEVICE MANAGER

    Right click on the MOUSE AND OTHER DEVICES of SCORE and choose SCAN for HARDWARE CHANGES

    Click with the right button on USB BUS CONTROLLERS, and then select SCAN for HARDWARE CHANGES

  • Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 - needs new batteries, but usually turn on after.

    I have a Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 and it has a slow red light which means that the batteries are low. So I put in new batteries and it won't turn! BUT, if I put the old battery in, it lights up? What in the world is not going?

    OK, I solved it. It turns out that someone decided they would take used batteries and swap them with new batteries, but put all the old back in the same box as the nine and mix them together... So I used just used batteries. I found 1 battery in good condition.

  • MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 battery light

    I recently bought the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 and it works perfectly on Windows 7 64.

    However, there is a battery indicator light on top of the mouse that shows various indications of course for the State of the battery, but I don't seem to be able to find what they mean despite research.

    The indications are as follows;

    • No light showed,
    • Fixed green light shown.
    • Fixed red light indicated
    • Red light "pulses" shown.

    I'd be happy if someone could inforn me that each State shown by the LED indicates.

    I have the same mouse.  When the battery is good the green light for 5 seconds when the power button on the mouse is on and that he will then to no light. I'm less sure on red lights, but if memory serves, when the battery starts to get low, the red light will appear for a few seconds when the power is on and then go to no light, and I think will be paid to the red light "pulses" when dangerously low.

  • If I update to IE10 with Windows 7 Home Premium I will solve the problem of my Canon iP1300!

    Dear community Microsoft Support:

    I am a volunteer physician for 35 years and my computer is an asset to my work, I install each critical update Microsoft on every second Tuesday of the month.

    I upgraded to IE 8 and IE 9 and my Canon iP1300 will not print something on a webpage only from Microsoft word.  (I get "Enternal Error) when I try to print.  I reinstalled my printer, and all my drivers related to my printer and Windows 7 platform are up-to-date.  I have excessive security, but they are compatible and cause no conflict.  (I have never had any viruses, worms, malware, script errors, spyware or adware back to Windows 95 as I have used all of the platforms that Microsoft has put in).

    Please can you tell me if I install, IE10 on IE9 on Windows 7 Home Premium will I still have my "Favorites" or do I export them before upgrading.  (I'm more work, and to be honest I don't remember if my favorites will be retained when you install a more recent version).

    Please, if you know, what are the advantages and disadvantages of IE10 on Windows 7 Home Premium.  When I had IE8 I have never had a problem printing with Canon PIXMA, Ip1300 until I installed IE9. ,

    Microsoft unsuccessfully to solve the problem of printing page Web IE 9 is already installed, but does not solve the problem.

    Thank you very much in advance for your support.

    Best regards

    Dr. Hubert Hechabarria

    Thanks for the good wishes! The same thing for you and yours!

    Now, to answer your question. First a point for clarity. Hotmail is transitioning to Outlook.com (this is important because the Outlook application is provided with Microsoft Office). Yes, Outlook.com has a spell checker and Yes everyone will have to change to Outlook.com Hotmail.com

    Don't forget that IE10 is only a browser and that the Hotmail/Outlook.com is just a web-based e-mail accounts. For example, when I checked my email Outlook.com I used Firefox to access. I usually use Outlook (part of Office) to access my email accounts based on the web that I much prefer the feature he gives.

    Way to go with languages! I can barely keep up with English! * smile *.

  • Dysfunctions of the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 Nano transceiver... Burned my hand and melted!

    So this is the second of these that I had and both have experienced the same problem. They work great for a while (a while being a coupe of weeks) and then one day the computer just indicates that Windows does not recognize the device and it malfunctioned. Then, when I go to take the nano transceiver it burns my hand and blends almost. Please, someone tell me I can buy the nano transceiver separately. I now have two of them (well, Microsoft has replaced the first) and none works. I think that Microsoft won't keep replacing the entire unit for me, because they didn't need to send me the old one first. I would like to just buy some transceivers so that I can keep 'in stock' so to speak when they go wrong (if all goes well they won't be). It is a great mouse, it's just the transmitter/receiver that needs work. Thanks for any help!

    Transceivers are not sold separately therefore communicate with Microsoft and explain the problem.

    At the time of the first wired mouse for Internet Explorer, I got about 4 replaced at different times and never had to send it back.  I guess that the questions were grouped because finally they worked just, in fact two still work fine on the server PC that are average close to go wireless.

    Just be careful and don't ignite or burn.   I would add that I have the mouse BlueTrack Explorer on my desktop that works wonders and the Mini version on my netbook.  Both were perfectly executed.  I like the full size version because its rechargeable (when I remember to "anchor") so no more batteries wear out.

  • Receiver Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 causing BSOD

    It seems to be a growing crowd of users affected by BSOD involving the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouses. I, for example, have the WMM4000 on a 32-bit Vista computer. If the receiver is unplugged, instant BSOD (error IRQL-type). Even in this case, at the time, the laptop will hit just the same BSOD error on its own.

    Is there a definitive answer for fixing these mice?

    I beg of you.  These related to the SynTP.sys Synaptics Touchpad Driver.  I would like to re - install the latest driver available.

    You also have a driver that is known to cause called c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys of aft (ALcohol120 or daemon tools).  Which must be removed and replaced.

    Please remove the viewing programs of CD such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.
