Microsoft Windows 7 FreeCell Solitaire guard is no longer the accurate count of games won/lost

I played FreeCell for a long time, accumulating a high percentage of victories on the losses.  Recently, this percentage has begun to drop for some unknown reason.  I recently gave my score score zero, has played only one match and won and had a percentage of 100%.  The next day, I played a second game won and my percentage fell to 66%.  It had harvested 3 games played.

It's a quirk of stupid to be irritated by a score of game, but this has not happened before.  All I can give is a saved game that I can't get rid of.  Whenever I start FreeCell, I get the screen that asks if I want to continue a previously saved game.  It's a game that I lost some time ago, but I can't delete it.  I think that, whenever I start, when I select 'No' to not continue the saved game, it is considered as a loss.  But I can't find a way to remove this game!

Suggestions for this overwhelming global problem?

Macdent salvation,

Can you try the following steps and check if that helps?

I suggest you to uncheck and check the functionality of the games inWindows enable or disable featuresand check if that helps:

1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs, and then, under programs and features, click Windows turn on or off features.

2 disable-choose/uncheck the games check box and then click OK. Now, restart the computer and check.

3. now again check the games even box and then click OK and restart the computer and check if the problems persists.

I hope this helps.

  • Recently I had to reinstall Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and Windows Media Center displays now is no longer the Netflix app.

Also, it does not display the internet tv options.  He displayed a week before I did reinstall it, so why not now?  When I go the the media center Web site and try opening netflix from there he tells me to upgrade to Windows 7.  The upgrade is not an acceptable answer, because this isn't a free solution to a problem that did not exist last week.  I turned on automatic downloads, I clicked the download now, so everything should be updated.  How can I get the dos applications?

  • Windows 8 slow down browsing, explore everything slow, slow - Solution involves (defective)? Microsoft Windows backup process?

I have a new PC of Windows 8 with all the OS updates carried out.  It was not long before the loading of the page on Internet Explorer took a minute (with messages frequent that the page was not answer and I wanted to get the Web page).  The same was true for the launch of Windows Explorer to browse the folders on the computer.  A quick look at the Device Manager revealed that the internal memory use was about 37% always, who initially does not sound an alarm for me (but it must be, I guess!).  Meanwhile, there was nothing wrong with my broadband access - Ookla was speedtesting to almost 20 Mbps.  I searched the web for answers - using search terms such as "fast and slow navigation broadband ' and permutations on this subject.  There were a lot of hits - a lot of people have had this problem, but there is that none of the solutions proposed who worked for one of these people who ask the question (and solutions did not work for me - a commune was ' stop using IE - use Chrome instead! ")  This has no effect).  Norton Internet Security, Spybot, and MalwareBytes found no problem.

Finally, I took another look at Device Manager and reinforced with all the running processes.  I noticed a strange thing - a process called "Microsoft Windows Backup" was running - and it was in the list of processes about 8 times.  Some iterations were using up to 20% of available memory - others used none.  I went through and started to kill these processes.  At first, I just couldn't do enough quickly - they would reopen not almost as soon as I closed the.  Finally, with lots of quick click, I killed all and none reopened.  I went back to Internet Explorer - and found blazing fast page loading.  My Windows Explorer was also back to normal - I was browsing directories at a good pace.

So the question is...  WHY 'Microsoft Windows Backup' ran several times in Device Manager?  Is it really 'Microsoft Windows Backup' or some malware masquerading as such?  And if there is a problem with a backup context process, how can I make sure it is disabled and remains disabled?

    Thank you!

    1 way of working!

Historical files was already off, I had several instances of "Microsoft Windows backup" processes running and one of them would be 30 or 40 percent (he jumped of a process to another).

What is the process and why did start? (or was it always ongoing enforcement & suddenly become a CPU hog?)
