Middle-click not to open bookmarks in a new tab
Windows 7 just made an update which included a new mouse driver, and now, middle clicking on an entry in my bookmarks menu does nothing, rather than open the bookmark in a new tab. There is no available driver restore and no driver on the site of the manufacturer of the mouse (optical mouse Logitech M-100)
Middle-click opens links in the page open in tabs as usual.
- Firefox 16.0.1
Just to make a liar of me, I checked my device manager today (unlike previous every time I checked), the mouse Driver Rollback button was active. Roll back the mouse driver solved the problem. Thanks for the help.

Middle, click on links open is no longer new tabs in Firefox 6.0.2
Can fix you it as soon as possible?
If you use the "Greasemonkey" addon for Firefox, it's what is originally the central of the mouse not to open new tabs. To fix, install the latest version of Greasemonkey available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions/
Install the version 0.9.11 (who has yet to be approved by Mozilla), and you should be fine.

How to open bookmarks in a new tab without opening the whole folder in new tabs?
I'm used to be able to open a single bookmark in a new tab. Now I can open only all of a folder of bookmarks in tabs with "open all in tabs". The option to open only favorite in a new tab or window is grayed out.
The only way I can understand to open a bookmark without leaving the page that I should find a link to open in a new tab or open a blank tab that is many more steps.
How can I fix the 'novelty' to make it work? You can middle click or hold CTRL and left click a bookmark (and other links) to open the bookmark in a new tab.

Option tabs do not implicitly open link in a new tab fails
I left the entry Options tabs "when I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" unset.
Correctly, when I click with the right button on a link and choose open in a new tab opens the link and focus explicitly does not commute.
Wrong, when I click on a link and it is implicitly opened in another tab switches immediately to the new tab
browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground is probably set to false. If you set this to true, it should fix it. (I know that she is an alumna of the week, but may as well this post just in case someone else sees it or you do not have fixed). I had the same problem (central of the mouse did not change but left mouse done, etc.) and that fixed it.

The other day, I noticed that my search box stop working. Even when I go to options and click on search, it will not be open to the top of the tab to the search options. Today, I noticed that when I right click on a link, it brings up a long list of options, but the only one I want to work is the "Open link in a new tab." Unfortunately, it does not work. I ran Spybot, Malwarebytes and Microsoft Defender and what malware, they found, it does not solve the problem. I even tried Firefox in Safe Mode and updated, but still questions. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, this is probably because something on your system has crushed all providers default search in firefox. to recover it please download and reinstall firefox to https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ on top of your existing version.
Since it is a behavior often caused by adware on a system, please also run a scan complete of your different system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner.

No matter where I right click on a webpage displayed (NOT the bar menu at the top of the screen), in computer text highlighted, a white spot in a Web page, or whatever it is, the shortcut menu for a hyperlink appears upward (with options to open it in a new tab, window or private (, bookmarking), and none of these options actually do anything, even if it is a hyperlink, I'm clicking. With the help of shortcuts like Ctrl + click on work very well. I have not recently installed plug-ins, and it only started a few hours ago. Wat do I do?
Try disabling Firebug and see how it is.
