  In my VB.Net application, I retrieve the virtual computer object (VMware.Vim.VirtualMachine) through scripting Powershell VI.

  If the Virtual Machine is migrated to another host (hotmigrate) I receive an event (VMware.Vim.VmMigratedEvent), which also holds the moref of the Virtual Machine. I tried to use the updateview method to refresh the virtual computer object but failed with an error message stating that the object could not be found, or never existed.

  I also tried to recover the virtual computer object again, throug the method Client.GetView and the moref returned by the event, but the same error message.

  How can I get my hands on the virtual computer object or update after migration to another host takes place. I have to get it back again? It would be great if I could do it somhow with information from moref I hold the event!

  Sorry, but I can only show you how to do this in PowerShell.

  I use the purpose of the task to get to the prompt MoRef.

  Here's how:

  I don't know how you get at the VmMigratedEvent event, but the MoRef in there is pointing to the correct prompt.

  In the following script, I extracted all the events related to the task of vMigrate immediately after the vMigrate task finished

  In my opinion I don't like the CopyApp utility and it fell at least in version 11, some people have had success with it, that's just my opinion but you can have a good experience with it.
  You must give it a try and see if it's good for you, it isn't copy business rules

• Update Manager error after migration of the database to a different instance.

  Hey everybody,

  I've migrated the SQL Express databases to the named instance of SQL Standard.  It's all 2008 R2.  The three migrated databases were VCenter, VirtualManagerDB and VSphereUpdateManager.  Domain in SQL accounts have been migrated to the new instance of the box.

  Now, I get this error when trying to open VSphere:

  Call 'ServiceDirectory.QueryServiceEndpointList' of object "ServiceDirectory" on vCenter Server '192.168.123.160' failed.

  Can someone help me understand this?  This is an installation VCenter 5.0 on a Windows 2008R2 server that is also running SQL Server 2008 R2 standard with an Express instance and a named instance.  I've migrated from the express instance in order to overcome the 4 GB limit on the explicit instance.

  UPD Bishop uses a 32-bit DSN, so you'll need to use C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe to access/view/edit the correct DSN on Win2k8

  Easy way to download responsibilities using FNDLOAD this command make FNNDLOAD using sql query below. last exit in shell scripts resp.sh under linux. then run the shell script.

  In our application Forms, we add transparent business to all the blocks of data code where clause property by using the following expression: company_code = SYS_CONTEXT('erp$security_mgmt_ctx','company'). How this can be achieved in Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle ADF.

  You can have a method on the AOS, that is the place where clause to the view of all the objects and run the query.

  Ex:

  On my old Lion system that I used to be able to drag a picture from iphoto in the shape of the object open in Pages.  I can't be able to do more.  The system changed?  I tried to use Inspector (under help), but it won't let me access the file of the photo on the right.

  As I understand it, you can't play an Apple shared music playlist. Being able to listen to shared playlists is a great way to discover new music.

  When music is allowed for music from Apple, the license States that the countries that the song can be played in.  Most likely, some of the music on these playlists simply are not available through Apple music to the Canada.

  I recently bought a HP 15 laptop with 8.1. I use mainly desktop with latest Mozilla. All my icons that is usually found at the bottom of the screen have migrated to the right side of the screen and boots, to the top, I can't do your choice. I tried to customize without result. I am 75 but strive to keep abreast, but it baffled me.

  Sorry, it's a question of support of Windows, the Windows taskbar does not part of Firefox. I do not use Windows 8.1 myself, and I don't know if the process is the same as on my Windows XP - but maybe click and hold and drag this bar down might work like on Windows XP.

  Ever photos first? It should have been included when you first update of Yosemite and now El Capitan. I know that iPhotos updates get a message like that, but I didn't know the Photos app with a message with it.
