Migration site Muse in MEA Mobile

Hello everyone, I recently changed my career that leaves me the privilege to work with Adobe CC 2015 and DPS. I am brand new to DPS with no prior experience. My first duty is to familiarize myself with DPS in helping a student who created a Web site in muse and would get the site downloaded to MEA Mobile flyby before eventually publish to Apple/Android. The Web site consist of about 25 pages, each page giving the 3 options which will take you to another page depend on the option selected. I tried to export the entire project as HTML and then drop this folder to export in AEM MobilePackager to create an article. I then created a project in AEM, transferred to article and started working on the page layout, but it seems as if a lot of content is missing.

In my research, it seems that perhaps the best option is to re - design the muse project so that each page and he has associated graphics is a unique project. From there on, I need to export each project as HTML and then packaging as an article so that each article is created from an index.html file. Is the best way to go? Also, some pages have incorporated audio files so that the user can listen to the audio clip before choosing an option. DPS does support audio? Maybe this project suits better to remain a responsive site rather than an application, however, if this is possible I'd like to make it work in flight before just to continue my studies of DPS.

I appreicate any comment

DPS supports extracts sound as would a normal Web page.

It is possible that this project be better to remain a responsive site rather than an application.

It's probably just, but if you are determined to move of DPS, then you would package the individual html pages and assets in the form of files article and probably change the navigation of your site to adapt to collections and the layout of cards that DPS uses.

  • Mobile site Muse in lining up properly before their delivery to the domain

I know that this issue has been addressed in other threads, but I still have to find a solution.

My mobile site Muse is lining up properly before their delivery to the domain, but looks fine when accessed via Business Catalyst. I used a model to do so. The site is www.wordfrog.ca

Bad timing that I have to attend a conference this weekend and need a mobile site that is functional.

Any suggestions? I'm not a web designer - my knowledge of Muse is very present at the end of 'beginner' things...

    Thank you!

    Melanie

You must really delegate your domain name to the Business Catalyst site. 'Simple advance' mechanisms don't really delegate your domain to which your site is hosted. Instead, they create a site a page on the servers where you bought the domain, then they post your real site inside a frame on this one site page. "Display your site in a frame" visually approach seems to work for most, but it prevents your real site to be able to understand the characteristics of the device/browser where it is displayed and interfering with the correct behavior of your site.

    These resources should be useful:

    Publish Web sites

Add a domain name to your site using the service DNS of BC

  • Why Google does not recognize my mobile sites Muse?

I have all my websites mobilized. As we all know, Google became aware of sites that are not mobile friendly.  I have also all my sites in the Google Webmaster Tools.

Yet every month, I get emails from Google warning me to "fix the mobile usability problems" on almost all of my sites.  I am in the SEO business, and if I can't give my clients with a user-friendly mobile site that is compatible with Google's algorithms, then I'm in big trouble.

A typical mobile site created by me could be my own staff at www.webstuffguy.com in case anyone wants to try to resolve what is happening.

Here's a snapshot of emails I receive every practically every month.

    I thank in advance.

The meta tag 'window' is designed for sensitive pages. As Muse does not code sensitive, it is not necessary. I have 15 sites of Muse, and only one of them gets the "Viewport not configured" error on the webmaster tools. This particular site has also a blog WordPress installed in a separate folder, and this blog is what generates the error - not the pages of Muse.

Here's a great post on this topic...

    http://www.Muse-themes.com/blogs/News/6296420-experiments-in-mobile-site-design-with-Adobe - muse

#2 and #3 are pretty self-explanatory, but would be nice if GWT remember exactly what items have been '' too close '' or that the text was too small. I don't get these errors, so I can't confirm, but I bet that if you have clicked on each Google would show their guidelines recommended for each.

#4 relates directly to #1. Apparently, you have a page that is smaller than what you're trying to publish to.

  • Third-party hosting Site Muse - error 404 on Mobile

    Hi guys,.

I recently exported my files of Adobe Muse (pixelariumstudio.com) site, the downloaded in FileZilla and then uploaded the site to GoDaddy hosting services using FileZilla.

The site looks great on desktop computers but I receive a 404 error whenever I try to view this site on mobile devices (tablets similarly). I called GoDaddy, thinking it was a problem on their end, but after two notices of two separate calls, I learned it's the code of the site itself that is the problem. The funny thing is, when the site is hosted through Adobe, he seemed to very well on mobile devices, but when the site has been moved on to GoDaddy, the 404 error has arisen.

I wonder if the Muse wrote a specific code to display a site in mobile browsers that is not recognized by third-party hosting services because GoDaddy not redirect the site to display mobile and rather just come up with a 404 error. If so, is it possible to change the code which written Muse shows the site on mobile devices whereas GoDaddy can recognize? I did some research online to see what base code is used to redirect a site to the mobile view, but all this I came with it was:

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

Every guide I found said to place this tag just after the head of <>and I did but still no chance to get the Web site for display on mobile devices. If someone knows the encoding OK for GoDaddy to display a Muse site on mobile devices, I'd be for always in your debt. I guess it's just a few lines, I need to replace but I don't know what the lines or with what to replace it. :/ This is the head of <>of the site where this allows to find any faulty code:

It seems that you have not downloaded all the files exported by Muse.

Specifically, it seems that you don't download the "phone".

If you are using Filezilla or another part 3 FTP tool, you must of course downloading all the files exported by Muse for your site works correctly.

You can also use the menu option 'transfer to the FTP host... ". "within the Muse to download all the files to your web hosting provider.

  • Content bearing AEM to MEA Mobile Apps?

    Hello

I managed to follow the article here and integrate the AEM and AEM Mobile on demand portal. Now, I would like to know if there is a way to bring in any content with AEM in MEA Mobile Apps. After the integration, when I open the imported project, I don't see ways to add the same artifacts and items, banners and Collections to the app.

Is it possible to make pure MEAS content as assets etc.? If so, please provide details.

    Thank you

Yes, you can certainly use Active AEM AEM mobile applications on demand (MOD).

MOD uses Articles and banners as containers for content.  Consider Pages in the Sites of the MEA.   This means that you create items and banners by adding active AEM components to them - just as you would create a page of Sites of the MEA.   In fact, AEM Mobile uses the same page editor as Sites.

To create an Article that contains MEAS from content:

    1. Connect to your instance AEM Authoring and access the AEM Mobile
    2. Choose the AEM application that you created when you made the link between AEM and MOD.
    3. Locate the tile 'Manage the items' and click the 'v' button in its upper right
    4. Choose Create article
    5. Choose a model (these models are based on the model of the MEA and can be extended by using the same techniques as the other AEM page templates).  Click next
    6. Provide initial metadata - such as article name and title and click Next
    7. Click Next again (assuming that your article will not be an advertisement)
    8. Use the user interface to choose an image for your item, and then click Next
    9. (optional) Choose a Collection for your Article.  The collections are the way that mod organizes content.  It's not only the hierarchy, it is used to control the menus (explore the Pages), which automatically generates a MOD.  If you do not set the Collection now, you can do it later.  Click Next.
    10. Click on create.  This will create a section in the AEM authoring environment.
    11. Click on change Article and page AEM editor will open.
    12. You can now add components and elements of active article using the AEM wysiwyg page editor.
  • How to convert a site MUSE for use on a smart phone?

How to convert a site MUSE for use on a smart phone? Is it possible to automate this? I have to reduce all image sizes?

In the current version of Muse, you have to look at the top bar in the Plan view and click on the button of phone . It offers you the ability to copy the plan of the pages (if you think it's useful for your mobile website), but not the content. Yes, you must manually copy and paste what you want to be present on mobile pages.

With the upcoming version, you also get a different approach, next to it.

  • Why my site Muse not displayed correctly on the phone?

I created a site in desktop and Adobe Muse phone versions.  I published the Business Catalyst site and have my domain transfer with masking to the catalyst for business address.

If I get the catalyst for business of the site url appears correctly on the phone.  If I enter the domain name, shrivelled.  I googled the problem and added HTML in the header:

    < = happy 'viewport' meta name = "width = device-width, original scale = 1.0, maximum scale is 1.0, scalable user = 0" >

This has not solved the problem.  What I am doing wrong

    Indo - usbposummit.businesscatalyst.com

    www.Indo-usbposummit.com

    Hello

I see that you call indo - usbposummit.businesscatalyst.com in a frameset on your domain www.indo-usbposummit.com.

Mobile redirection may not work correctly nested within a frameset however indo - usbposummit.businesscatalyst.com will redirect correctly.

If you pass the domain name rather than wrap the site muse in a frameset, mobile redirection will be able to work.

    Kind regards
