Mobile site Muse in lining up properly before their delivery to the domain

I know that this issue has been addressed in other threads, but I still have to find a solution.

My mobile site Muse is lining up properly before their delivery to the domain, but looks fine when accessed via Business Catalyst. I used a model to do so. The site is www.wordfrog.ca

Bad timing that I have to attend a conference this weekend and need a mobile site that is functional.

Any suggestions? I'm not a web designer - my knowledge of Muse is very present at the end of 'beginner' things...

Thank you!

Melanie

You must really delegate your domain name to the Business Catalyst site. 'Simple advance' mechanisms don't really delegate your domain to which your site is hosted. Instead, they create a site a page on the servers where you bought the domain, then they post your real site inside a frame on this one site page. "Display your site in a frame" visually approach seems to work for most, but it prevents your real site to be able to understand the characteristics of the device/browser where it is displayed and interfering with the correct behavior of your site.

If it works on Adobe but not on Hostgator then really go to Hostgator first... looks like the question is to their end

  • Why Google does not recognize my mobile sites Muse?

I have all my websites mobilized. As we all know, Google became aware of sites that are not mobile friendly.  I have also all my sites in the Google Webmaster Tools.

Yet every month, I get emails from Google warning me to "fix the mobile usability problems" on almost all of my sites.  I am in the SEO business, and if I can't give my clients with a user-friendly mobile site that is compatible with Google's algorithms, then I'm in big trouble.

A typical mobile site created by me could be my own staff at www.webstuffguy.com in case anyone wants to try to resolve what is happening.

Here's a snapshot of emails I receive every practically every month.

    I thank in advance.

The meta tag 'window' is designed for sensitive pages. As Muse does not code sensitive, it is not necessary. I have 15 sites of Muse, and only one of them gets the "Viewport not configured" error on the webmaster tools. This particular site has also a blog WordPress installed in a separate folder, and this blog is what generates the error - not the pages of Muse.

Here's a great post on this topic...

#2 and #3 are pretty self-explanatory, but would be nice if GWT remember exactly what items have been '' too close '' or that the text was too small. I don't get these errors, so I can't confirm, but I bet that if you have clicked on each Google would show their guidelines recommended for each.

#4 relates directly to #1. Apparently, you have a page that is smaller than what you're trying to publish to.

  • What script use to redirect to the new mobile site muse uploaded to an existing site?

I create a mobile site that I will upload to an existing outside the BC site. Should what script I use to detect the mobile device and redirect to the new mobile site?

    "< script type="text/javascript">".

    If ('desktop' == 'phone') {}

    window.location = ' http://www.site.com/phone/index.html';

    }

    < /script >

    or

    " < link media="only screen and (max-device-width: 370px)" rel="alternate" href="... /phone/index.html"/ >

    or something different.

    Thank you

If you use Muse 3.0 or later version, should not have to do anything - Muse will automatically handle redirection logic.

  • VPN connection before user logon in the domain environment

I took a huge project, but managed to set up a comprehensive network for an organization not-for-profit.  Is only a single obstacle, but the answer is completely referring me.
I installed a Windows 7 Ultimate in a test environment.  The server is standard 2012 and are located off site.  I have configured VPN and can connect, but remains one of the limitations...
    THE SITUATION
... the computer, I am preparing in aura production environment users and will be on the field.  They have shut down the computer during the night and on weekends.  During my tests, I found that VPN will NOT connect automatically.  I don't want a users to this remote location with access to the local office any longer.  Everyone must sign their credentials of domain only, and I'll be locking the local office with identifying information has changed.
With the help of Google, I found several ways to automate so-called VPN connection, but every article I've read so far says that it happens as a script at logon Windows.  Who defeated the purpose here.  I wish the VPN to be connected at startup, BEFORE the opening of the session, so that users can sign on the field immediately after the power of the computer.  I had considered just giving a directive to leave the PC on 24/7, but in case of crash or regular updates of Windows, which would put us back to the start.
    DEMAND
Can I do so that the VPN connects automatically TO a user on a desktop computer log?
    THE SPECS
The clients are on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition
Connection VPN set up in windows (no third party software)
Windows Server 2012 with Active Directory server-side
Before someone says, yes I know that Server 2012 has called DirectAccess, however even if it is installed, it is not an option with my setup because I won't drag desktop through the city to connect to the domain when I can use VPN just as easily without the risk of damaging the material.
I appreciate the answers and eager to solve this.  It must be possible, as I hear from companies doing this all the time for satellite facilities.  Have a good night :)

    Hello Christopher,

The question you have posted is linked to the virtual private network (VPN), and the right place for you to contact would be TechNet support.

  • Cannot pinch and zoom in on mobile site Muse

I created a site on Muse, who works for the office, but seen on mobile, I can not zoom in. Any ideas?

I just checked your site in iOS and Android phone and found this pinch and zoom does not work in the IOS devices however his works in android.

I have 2 suggestions for you.

1 create a layout phone separate or breakpoints for phone (in case of Muse CC 2015.1) and the test.

2 avoid using effects of roll and then check if it works very well.

For error of Web fonts I advise you to do the following:

    • Leave the Muse.
    • Signed on Creative cloud Application.
    • Kill the process in activity monitor (MAC) CCLibrary or (Windows) Task Manager
    • Sign in to Creative cloud Application.
    • Launch of Muse and check if it works.

    Kind regards

If someone can advise on this would be great. The normal site on the web works fine but table and phone easy to store.

I discovered what was causing the problem. I disabled the scrolling Parallax effects and the pinch and zoom started working.

  • Why is-2 slashes after domain name now, when you publish a live site after the new update with Muse? Post also after the site he has these 2 slashes before 'index.html '.

There are 2 slashes after domain name now, when you need to publish a live site after the new update with Muse?

-It was always a slash after the domain name. And if BC publication the

site - it has also these 2 slashes before "index.html" - is this correct? - or something wrong?

    slash.png

    Hi erinb61521593,

I did some tests at my end and can confirm that it is a known problem with the latest version of Muse but I advise you to choose the option with the / / at the time of release as it will download your site in good folder on the servers of BC (that points to your domain name) and after publishing the site if you go to the url with single / it works perfectly.

We already noted this problem with the developers of muse and I don't know that it will be fixed in the next version of Muse.

Feel free to reply to this post, just in case I missed something or if you have any other doubts about this.

    Kind regards

  • Mobile site redirects to different applications?

I made a few site muse and never seen that before. I created a page of exploitation that the site im making is under construction. www.upexpies.co.UK the desktop version works fine, but when you try it on a mobile it usually redirects to match.com app.
Im very confused and frustrated hope haha, someone can help out me.

    Kind regards
    Davey

Call us HostGator. I see nothing suspicious in the code of the page. The behavior resembles a redirect server-side.

  • Online site with a mobile site under construction

I developed a desktop site which has been downloaded to local server and is now online. I'm now working on the smartphone version of the site which may take several weeks to complete. I note that once the mobile version is open in the file of Muse, all downloaded changes of the desktop on the server site include a manifest file that reflects the existence of a mobile version and automatically redirect all visits of smart phones for this version, even if it is unfinished. This is not what I want to do before completing the mobile version.

Is there a preferred way that allows to work on a version of a site while another version is already online? Is it easier to make a copy of the file with a different name Muse then rename and download the entire site of this copy of the Muse when it's over?

The other option is that you can create a homepage for Mobile who can say "Mobile site under construction" create a link here to go to the site office.

When creating the link, make sure that you link to the home page of the office. And in the plan view of the Mobile site, make sure that you uncheck the option "Export Page" of pages so that when you publish/download site, other mobile pages are not uploaded.

    Kind regards

    Sachin

  • Zooms on the mobile Site

I'm developing a site for a political candidate, and the mobile site does not work well.

Whenever you browse the mobile site, the size of the site is significantly larger than the size of the actual location. The site is a lot more 'zoom out' we shouldn't. If you pinch and zoom and navigate to other pages, it's fine the pages remain in the enlarged in width. Here's a screenshot if you choose to access the URL:

    The site is jaredsolomon.com.

    Help, please!

Two techniques - adaptive and responsive, you mixed your site. Apparently, you don't understand how each one works and how they can be mixed. For the moment, I see the same sites for desktop and mobile. Both versions are flexible and not completed successfully with regard to this technology. I think the problem is the following. To help we need to look at your file.muse

  • Lose the link to mobile site

    Hello

Site - the two office and phone versions, I have a Muse.  That the changes were made in the version of my office, I made backups of the site (so the name of the file has changed).  However, when you click on the phone button it asks me to create a new mobile site - although I already have a +.  Thus, he loses the link to the mobile version.  I can always change the mobile site by clicking on the file mobile.muse, but is there a way to restore the link from the desktop version?

    Congratulations in advance.

I was using a single file for desktop and mobile.  However, when I saved the file under a new name I have now two separate files.

I think I'll have to do some copy and paste as you say.  However, do not know how I still end up with a separate Mobile file.

  • Anyone had luck with Wazala on a mobile site?

Written with a bit of frustration today...

I work with a nice high customer profile on a site e-commerce built to the Muse and integrated Wazala nicely into the site with a fairly uniform placement of buy now buttons and a shopping cart.  I have also personally work in support for a related product of the Muse and suggest systematically Wazala to people looking for options of ecommerce on Muse is based.  I have used several of the popular Muse compatible ecommerce options and actually ride with Wazala for the first time.  They make it sound as if they have a great mobile solution.  Well, it seems that is bull.

It seems that they have 2 options for mobile users:

Wazala Touch: this code is placed in your mobile site, the user is automatically redirected to a store of Wazala when on a mobile device.  This touch interface Wazala has no redirect back to your site.  In other words, Wazala touch becomes your mobile Web site.  There is no reason to bother with a mobile construction if you have used it.  I can't imagine anyone STILL using Wazala Touch.  It is buggy and very little attractive and eliminates your mobile site altogether.

Carriage Wazala Standard:   If the code that you include in your version of Muse is generated by a Wazala widget.  There is a parameter in the widget where you can set a width of fixed page (probably for the cart overlay).  It does not work.  This prompted me to contact Wazala support.  After a dozen emails, all what ignoring my repeated attempts to ask why the fixed page width setting doesn't work and is there a work-around, their informed response was: the problem is, the width of your mobile site is too small.  It must be 950 pixels wide.  After explaining that the redesign of the width from a desktop to a mobile site is not a reasonable solution (with data to support), they passed on my question, twice, to their developers.  Again and again, I am told that the problem is my mobile site construction, and that it should be 950 pixels wide.  Long story long, they choose of does NOT up to the fact that they do not have a mobile viable option and put the blame on the design of my site - while ignoring my repeated questions on the page width setting.

I hope I'm missing something here, or that someone has found a work around that allows the use of Wazala on a mobile site.  As it is, the only real option is to use the standard shopping cart, which seems ridiculous on a mobile phone and forced a mobile site of standard width 380pixel away from canvas to contain the office trolley.  There is no way users mobile will be to navigate a cart designed for desktop computer.

I would be very happy any idea here.  I am up to the wire with this customer and would really like to operate the Wazala.  If you have had a lot of luck with other ecommerce options, I'd be interested to hear about this as well.

    Thank you!

    Hello

In general, there are two modes supported:

-Built-in mode - when a browser product is installed on a page of the site

-A popup mode - when there is no page with the browser of product on the site and the store is displayed in a popup window. You mentioned this mode as "Lightbox".

Both have some advantages and disadvantages. The main problem with the mode popup - like in terms of this discussion, is that he doesn't "know" underlying. I mean the popup appears above the other elements of the site and so there is not based on the given layout. It is very well seen on the big screen. But that currently causes some layout issues on a mobile screen - the pop-up window is not entirely suitable at the present time. This is why we recommend that you use the built-in approach.

    To answer your questions:

    (1) continue shopping button on the basket page.

Since the plough is a part of the widget browser product, the continue button by default opens the painful catalog on the same page of the site. However, that could be changed, there is a ready JS for this mod. I just applied on the test site and the continue shopping button to redirect to the homepage: http://makfruit-test.weebly.com/cart.html#! / ~/cart

There is no easy solution to redirect to last page visited product however. However, as this product is already in the basket, it would be probably better to redirect to the list of products or a category page to let the user's browser, other products.

    (2) changing continue shopping button behavior in a pop-up window.

It is possible to change the behavior of the button in the popup in the same way as described above. Also, is there a way to hide her continue shopping button and make the close popup more visible to point users to the button Close button rather than to her continue shopping button.

The two solutions are described in our Help Center: http://help.ecwid.com/customer/portal/articles/1499907?q=continue+shopping .

If you find it difficult, let me know - I'll help you.

    Thank you

I have an existing site, hosted on a third party server.  I built a mobile site Muse and just uploaded via FTP.  Great worked on mobile, but mobile device site took over the office as well.  I loaded the Muse files in the /. Directory.

  • Using forms to mobile site

    Hi all

Does anyone know why the forms do not work in my mobile site. They work on the Office site and seem to work on the mobile site, however, when you click on an input field to the right edge of the browser that moves a lot. This also does not change if you reload the page or click out of shape.

The site is not yet fully alive, however, I don't want him to go live with this problem persists. As you can see in the picture below the pink blue blue tab top is a part of menu accordion. The value is almost at the edge of the right hand of the browser. The extra space on the right is displayed after clicking on a form field.

any advice on that would be great!

    Thank you all!

To avoid forms of zoom when typing in a text box, increase the size of the police.

In addition, you can have the "status text area" exceed the width of the page. One that says: you submit, Message sent, error,.

When in doubt, empty the cache of your phone and test again.
