  Go to/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6/Configuration/Menus/menus.bak

  You will see a menus.xml file here - it is a backup copy of the actual menus.xml file that uses DW.

  Copy it from this folder, paste 1 level above (in the file menu).

  Launch DW. See if it works.

  You can have both. Your subscription allows you to have two machines connected to use your subscription, so you can keep the old one as a backup if you wish.  If not, just log out of it so that you have the sign available for another computer if you want to use.

  With regard to obtaining the software on the new machine just install it downloads in the same way that you did using Mac.

  I just bought a new mac and creative cloud adobe seems to be in a circle, I can't open the current program, because some files are missing or corrupted.  When I download a new copy, I get the below error message:

  I mainly use Lightroom and of course would not lose my photos from lightroom files.    so the suggestion in the Help menu to remove the apps is not attractive, unless it's the only option

  A few years ago, I buy Lr4 via the Mac App Store. And later, I bought LR5 upgrade through Adobe online.

  Today, I have a new Mac and I've logged into my account adobe and redownloaded Lr5 and got the serial number. But when I install it it asks Lr4 serial number which I don't have and never had. I read the article on how to do it and it says that it requires the presence of the version of the App Store or the Lr4 at installation time. But I have more that I have unintalled some time ago and Adobe has removed from the App Store so I can't redownload it. So, I'm stuck.

  You could try to go to help > Lightroom registration click on the next button, see if there is a serial number entered (it will be stars *) then go head and register. Once registered, the serial number should appear on the Adobe Web site once you have logged in with your Adobe ID

  Creative cloud apps cannot be migrated as a return to the top, you will need to download and install apps as a new on the new machine

  You can have the creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers as long as you don't use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe using your Adobe ID website, download the desktop app from clouds, then download the software. Sign on a computer that should not be used: log in and log out of the desktop Adobe Creative Cloud application

  I'm trying to set up my iMac brand new El Capitan and any transfer of my old iMac OS x 10.6.8. The new Mac is former easily, by using Migration Research Assistant on two computers, but the old guard. Then another told me that the former, whom he knows, the name is not available. I use WiFi, lack of time, lightning or FireWire (?) whatever they may be. I could loose the ethernet to our wifi modem, if that works better, I have a Gdrive mini backup and which might be easier still.

  There is another identical question, starting in 2014, on the forums, but the answer is not relevant - I do not have a screen asking you to transfer when I started up the new iMac. (I also managed to get a screen insist on a Keychain password and it would not accept the password I put in place initially at first startup.) What is going on? I've never struggled with any one of our Macs back to 83 like this!)
