  Follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

  I suggest you to reinstall modem drivers:

  (a) go to the manufacturer website and download the drivers. This will
  usually come as a zip file or installation program.

  (b) if its an installation program, run it. No need to go further.

  (c) if it is a zip file, unzip all the files in a temporary directory.

  (d) right click on my computer, then select Properties > | material | > Device of
  Manager.

  (e) to locate the modem on your equipment list. It could be among the "pci
  device communication "or similar.

  (f) right click the icon and select get updated driver.

  (g) install from a specific location and follow the instructions of the wizard through. Specify
  where you unzipped the files. Some create additional records
  decompression so you will look for an INF.

  (h) proceed to configure the modem in the properties applet, phone and modem in the
  Control Panel and verify that your settings are correct.

• I have no Audio input device to check if my mike works. Audio output device shows only upward.

  I go to the Panel as it says and click speech, then it says to click on the audio input but it isn't here! There is only one audio output. • I want to use only the external mike and headphones

  Well, I looked at the manual. If I try to use a microphone with this mobo, I'd be very inclined to mount the system audio front panel, as it seems to have an understanding of slightly different mic that work peut better (although I think that you must run the configuration utility to configure). • Since the upgrade to 14.0.1 I cannot creat a folder new downloads using the options. This is what happens: C:\Users\mike\Desktop\New Downloads\New downloads.

  I am running Vista 32 bit. I can't stop Firefox to create a second (unwanted) instance of the folder new downloads. I tried a new profile and reset etc... no joy

  It's maybe just a little problem on the folder field.
  If downloads store in the first folder new downloads of root, but reports of Firefox in the two files settings dialog box, it is just a glitch on FF. Perhaps an incorrect escape / special caracter makes this bug. Try just in the case of completely uninstall Firefox and remove your profile (you can save your bookmarks), then try again.
