    Although by default, the taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen,
    It can be on any of the sides on what you prefer. To move any
    side to side, simply click an unused portion and drag
    where you want it. Don't forget to click inside it, not on the edge.
    by clicking on the edge and dragging will resize not move.

    Moreover, with the screen monitors wide today, I prefer the taskbar
    on the left or the right of the screen. I think that allows a better
    use of real estate than have it at the bottom of screen.

  • Military time format

    So I have this custom format script (shout out to the try67) that allows me to type in military time without colon:

    If (event.value == "" | ") ((/ ^ \d{4}$/.test(event.value)) {}

    var h = + event.value.substring (0.2);

    var minutes = + event.value.substring (2.4);

    If (hours > 23: minutes > 59)

    Event.RC = false;

    else event.rc = true;

    } else event.rc = false;

    If (event.rc == false) {}

    App.Alert ("invalid time format.")

    }

    It works FINE, but I ran into a problem... Military time extends from "0000 to 2359." (From midnight to 23:59) If I type "0000" in the field and try to click the button submit, my form validation message shows this field empty and necessary. How to fix this?

    Change this:

    (f.type == "text" "& f.value ==" ' ")

    To do this:

    (f.type == "text" & f.valueAsString == f.defaultValue ")

  • Validation of military time in oracle forms

    I have a column called time of warming in oracle forms. The format mask is HH24
    If the user does not have at the time military, how can I fill a message to say, 'Please use the military time format '.

    Its been 30 minutes warm-up time. It must be registered in the military calendar. For example 13:30 must be entered 13:30. If they enter in format other than military calendar to give a message to enter warming time military calendar and then clear the field

    You can use something like this:

    DECLARE
        v_date DATE;
    BEGIN
        SELECT TO_DATE(:YOUR_ITEM_NAME, 'HH24:MI')

    EXCEPTION
        WHEN OTHERS THEN
            MESSAGE('Please enter in format HH:MI');PAUSE;
    END;

  • Time to military time conversions

    Hello

    How to convert the field which is military time varchar data type?

    Select to_char (End_tm, hh24mmss) Tabl1 end_tm; -is it true?

    Thank you!!

    Select to_char(end_tm,'hh24:mi') end_tm from table1; is it good?

    No, I missed the part of tank, you should try:

    hoek&XE> with table1 as ( -- generatinig your sample data here:
      2 select '5:00 PM' end_tm from dual union all
      3 select '6:00 PM' end_tm from dual union all
      4  select '7:00 PM' end_tm from dual
      5  )
      6  --
      7  -- Actual query:
      8  --
      9  select to_char( to_date(end_tm, 'hh:mi AM'), 'hh24:mi')
     10  from   table1;

    TO_CH
    -----
    17:00
    18:00
    19:00

    Turn on again your STRING into a DATE, and after that in a STRING.
    (Read "inside out")

    Thank you for a little bit of data and the desired output examples, incidentally.
    It really makes a huge difference ;)

  • Converts a string to a military time AM/PM

    Hello

    I'm writing a method that converts a time (in military format) an hour AM/PM.  The format of the original time is:

    17:00

    After the conversion, I wish he was:

    17:00

    So far, I have the following method:

    public String formatTime(String time) {
            String result;

            if (!isNullOrBlank(time)) {
                Date date = new Date(HttpDateParser.parse(time));
                DateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat("h:mm a");

                if (date == null) {
                    result = time;
                } else {
                    result = sdf.format(date).toLowerCase();
                }
            } else {
                result = time;
            }

            return result;

        }

    Now, it formats the time without problem, but the time is bad.  That's because it's in GMT format (as explained in this post, the time will be formatted based on the local time zone: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/How-to-get-the-current-time-in-GMT/m-p/18328...)

    Someone with experience of development in the form of time without taking into account time zone?

    Thank you.

    I suspect the results you get from the analysis of HttpDateParser are in fact all 0.  Which means that the time GMT, you will get is midnight Jan 1, 1970, and so the time you will get is 12:00.  However, I suspect that your local time is 5 hours before GMT, so when the local time out, you get 19:00 the previous day.

    You want to check that?

    If you get 0, I think that you have to parse the date yourself - that is really not difficult and there were a few discussions for people to try to do it right.

  • Convert the text to a char to convert a standard military time field

    Hi all

    I am trying to change a time field military winter time. The field is a text SSRMEET_Begin_time field that stands at 15:00 (as for example). I need to convert this output 03:00. I try it in a calculation Discoverer Desktop version 10.1.2.1 field, but I only see the to_char conversion, which I do not know how to properly set the declaration for the conversion.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello
    Try to create this calculation:

    TO_CHAR (to_date (' 15:00 ',' HH24 '), ' Hh: mi AM ")

    * If you have no need for the AM/PM indicator remove the 'AM' of the formula

  • Time and date with AM/PM - not military time.

    I need to display the date and time in a textfield that is dynamicaly created. I don't want this time or date change (stays the same as long as this field is displayed and the form is saved.) I need it in the following format: Monday, 02/04/2012, 15:03

    I have listed above the following JavaScript that works but lacks format and some necessary info: (AM/PM the day of the week)

    this.rawValue = util.printd ("" mm/dd/aa - hh: mm ", new Date()");

    It should work, but it's the rating date FormCalc not JavaScript.

    If I was just playing with it and it looks like the time and date are separate in FormCalc - unless someone knows different?

    I tried the following and it worked:

    $ = Concat (num2date (date (), 'EEEE, MM/DD/YYYY'), Space (1), num2time (time (), "h: mm A"))

    Message was edited: removed some extra hooks that were not needed in the script.

    Clock in the taskbar has set both military, how can I get that back to the normal time display?

    You make this kind of adjustments in the regional and Language Options applet.

    Click Start, settings, Control Panel, regional and Language Options.

    On the Regional Options tab, in the section Standards and formats, your language is selected.

    To the right of your selected language, click on the Customize button, the click the time tab.

    Change the Format of the time to your desires.

    Eastern Standard time: h:mm:ss:tt

    Military time would be: HH

    Click OK, OK to save the settings.

    You don't need to restart, but I would reboot in any case to ensure the changes 'stick '.

    Do, or do not. There is no test.

    I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!
