  AVCHD has the same as DV data rate, so shuttle that quickly will be not a problem hard drive, even a single disc, and still less a RAID 0 array.  If he stutters, it's one thing to CPU.

  Any lossless format will offer the best audio quality.  The available choices:

  • WAV is probably the most widely supported but it lacks the ability to incorporate metadata or illustrations, so while you can move the audio between different systems files as soon as you go outside iTunes you will lose all the artist / album / song information.
  • Apple Lossless (ALAC) is definitely the best choice in iTunes - he has the same metadata / support work such as MP3 or AAC and supports full 16/44.1 audio with file sizes about 65% of the equivalent WAV file
  • AIFF is very similar to the ALAC, except that (in the Variant used by iTunes), there is no lossless compression, so the file size will be larger

  Why use iTunes AND WMP AND a Galaxy? Use one of them.

  The reason for which you you hide it all under "Unknown", this is that wav files are not encrypted when you ripped them. You must add the titles to the hand. However, your Galaxy will not be able to read them.

  You could rip as mp3 at a rate of 320 files - negligible loss of sound quality at a high rate, or as a file flac.

  You can use a codec for WMP for files flac and I don't know if iTunes can read - I never use it for reading. Check the plug on the Apple site. Yet once, however, the Galaxy cannot.

  However, they can read mp3 files, as can your Galaxy (I have a). To transfer files to the Galaxy its recommended to use Kies software (available on Samsung website)...

  If you were to use a program like AudioGrabber (Google for it, its freeware) coupled with the Lame codec (follow the links on the site of AudioGrabber) then you can rip from CD directly to mp3 at a rate of 320 that WMP + iTunes + your Galaxy can read.

  Problem: Bed of music is in comp 1 so I can't listen to music and make adjustments accordingly.

  The obvious solution is to simply create everything on 1 composition. But is there a way to make the MAIN COMP room if you change a secondary layout?

  The only sensible thing to do for a few minutes longer project to edit in Premiere Pro and make the moves you must treat as individual comps in After Effects. Comps are for the creation of pictures and short clips.   PS is color managed, will honor an embedded profile (or tag) in an image and to 'bend' the colors according to the color space of image and its supported monitor.  Check the color settings to see if / what that PS takes in what concerns monitor color space and image profiles.  Other programs are not color management and send the RGB values directly to the monitor.

  You can't see a difference if the image has an sRGB profile (or none), but that say a picture comes up with its Adobe 1998 color space.  Photoshop will honor but other programs will not, then you will see a net difference of saturation.  Adobe 1998 being a larger color space, it uses small differences between R, G, B to a saturation of the color indicated that would exist in sRGB, so seen in a managed application without colors, the image will appear less saturated than in PS.  And other "Pitfalls" that can cause the effect reverses.

  You must have a minimum knowledge of color management to be able to reconcile various appearance of the image between the various applications.

  We are in a big mess. Our company has been developing Oracle Forms for more than 15 years. We have applications developed in Forms 6i and 10 g. We have about 5 products and these 5 products have different versions of 25 to 30. that is, we maintain about 30 different versions of our applications. Each version of the application has about 100 forms and 100 States.
  
  Now, given that the forms came at the end of life of 11 g we want to pass to the ADF. We tried forms of ADF migration tools but failed. So now, we decided to manually to rewrite applications in the ADF.
  
  Our forms / PL/SQL developers, designers and analysts (about 40 in total) are all people of Oracle Forms. They have no experience in Java.
  
  What I want to know is:
  (1) what is the BEST way to do this?
  (2) need to learn Java, JSF, and ADF? (i.e. every 3)?
  (3) it is mandatory to learn JSF?
  (4) assuming that may benefit from a full training, how much time will it take for people of forms learn the ADF?
  (5) what kind of training will be necessary? (Java, JSF, ADF and JDeveloper etc..)
  (6) how LONG will take? that is to train all 40, then to rewrite an application forms 100 + 100 + reports? (Ballpark is OK).

However, I would say don't you try to build a real application with a single exposure of weeks (in the same way, I don't expect you to design a database of product with the formation of a week only). I would probably expect your developers to have at least the above training, then spend a month or so evidence of (minimum) building of the concepts (or test themselves with the ADF Insider Essentials tasks). In addition, I would probably expect to have at least a senior developer/architect, with much more experience that may be decisions on things like reuse, partitioning, architecture, etc..
