  The Satellite C650 card reader supports SD card, SDHC, MultiMediaCard card and mini SD card in the SD adapter.

  microSD card are not supported.

  PS: Check the status of card reader in Device Manager. Then, you will know if the pilot was properly installed. If there is no yellow? signs near the card reader, then everything should be ok

  Assuming that you have an Alienware 17 and not the previous version of M17x, then Yes you can upgrade the graphics card very simply. Google "Alienware 17-repair" and then download a copy OR search for an Alienware 17 card withdrawal on YouTube chart.
