Mirror of the screen on Toshiba 40L3453DB

Hello

Anyone know if you can screen mirror on this model?

If something like this is possible, it should be described in s operating manuals.
Maybe stupid question now, but why do you need screen mirror?

Can I enjoy with my Windows 7 mirror screen or not? What are the steps I need to follow?

    Hi John,.

When you connect an additional monitor to your laptop, Windows automatically detects the monitor and displays your computer's desktop. You can then choose how you want your desktop to appear and customize the display settings, such as the color depth and screen resolution. You can view the following for more information Microsoft article.

  • Satellite A300 - 21 c - impossible to adjust the brightness of the screen

    Hello

I am not able to adjust the brightness of my screen on my Satellite A300 - 21 c - control panel-> the menu options of power does not give me the opportunity to do, and my Fn keys do not work either (can't adjust the brightness).

The operating system is Win. XP Pro - SP2

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello

You can adjust the brightness of the screen using Toshiba Power Saver? With this tool, I can set the brightness of the screen for Macintosh (AC adapter) and normal (battery). I like it a lot because I can also put more options and you can download it on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

For the FN keys on your laptop, you need the tools Toshiba you can find on the site of Toshiba, too.

    Welcome them

  • My Satellite M305-S4910 is unusable because of the screen flashes

After owning since February 2009 it my laptop Toshiba became unusable! The screen flickers and goes to white constantly. Technical support or customer relations offers any assistance whatsoever!

Some would say that is under warranty and it is for this purpose, my problem. Fair enough until do you a Google search on the screen for Toshiba laptop problems... 4 200 000 visits. Or try Googling Toshiba laptop screen is flashing... 27 000 visits.

Customer relations officer informed me that Toshiba has no trace of problems in THEIR screen SYSTEM so there is nothing they could do.

I submit that they know exactly what the problem is, but are hidden behind a 1 year warranty and in my opinion they knowingly sell a defective product.

I'll NEVER, NEVER buy a Toshiba again any product! I feel that I've been ripped off and offered no help at all.

    Hello

    > Some will say she is more under warranty and it is for this purpose, my problem. Fair enough until do you a Google search on the screen for Toshiba laptop problems... 4 200 000 visits. Or try Googling Toshiba laptop screen is flashing... 27 000 visits.

Goggle for other manufacturers of portable devices such as Dell, HP etc.
    I had 9.790.000 hits!
So everything initially using google, and to compare the results and the success is simply absurd because there are other factors that affect these results

    Back to your question;
    > After he possess since February 2009, my laptop Toshiba became unusable! The screen flickers and goes to white constantly. Technical support or customer relations offers any assistance whatsoever!

ASP from Toshiba still help if your hardware began to malfunction.
You will find here all the FSA world wide:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-> supported downloads &-> find an authorized service provider

If the warranty is valid, all would have been covered by the warranty.
If you warranty is no longer valid, you will need to pay for the fix.
This is nothing unusual, and it is the custom. All manufacturers (computer/laptop, not only) do

In addition, the standard one year warranty can be extended. I recorded my Toshiba laptop on page and had extra year free warranty!
Of course you can also buy additional coverage that extends the warranty to 3 or 4 years
I did something like that for my PS3...

Sorry mate but I put t in agreement with you, you are disappointed because your laptop start to malfunction
I understand that and I would be disappointed, but it's simply no chance that some of the material can always start malfunctioning

PS: I got a computer laptop another manufacturer, he died after 1.5 years that I went to Toshiba U400 and A500. Now I have 2 Toshiba laptops at home I m very happy with these notebooks.

  • Toshiba 40L3453DB - menu bar at the bottom of the screen empty

    Hello

I have a Toshiba 40L3453DB tv and my bar menu at the bottom of the screen is empty.
If I press the menu button i comes up with what is now and what next, then it just goes.

I looked through all the settings to activate it, but I can't.
Someone out there help me to activate this function.

When I 1st installed 1 channel search time I think that I have turned it off.
I tried the 1st time installation again to see if I can find, but it is not there.

    Help.

Have you ever read the manual of L345 series?
There you can find all details about the settings of the TV and features supported.
    http://www.Toshiba-OM.NET/LCD/PDF/English/Country_Specific/L3451-40-English-specific.PDF

I assume you mean the information banner.
    See page 21

If you press the "Info" button, the information on the screen will appear indicating the channel and the program being viewed. Each time change you channel, television displays the image spread along a banner of information at the bottom of the screen. It will remain on the screen for a few seconds.

If the channel is locked, use the default 0000 PIN to unlock the channel.

In the worst case if nothing will help get this banner working, reset the default TV.

  • Toshiba KIRA-102 with dust inside the screen

    Hello

Big disapointement! It's my 4th Toshiba (first back in 1997... and still works!)
My Satellite M30X with 10 years (ok) and my Tecra R840 with 3 years works 24 hours a day from the last August :-)

The las one... a 102 Kira bought las November!
Never had this problem: a task of dust about an inch or two the upper of the screen... but inside the screen!

    Now what?
It's really annoying because it's the perfect... Toshiba advertising ultrabook!

    Paulo

    Hello

To be honest, I never read on the problems of dust inside the display area.
However, the mentioned absence looks like hardware related issue with material in question must be reported to the Toshiba authorized service provider in your country.

In my opinion you should talk to the ASP guys on this problem of dust and probably they will replace the display panel

On this page you will find all the Toshiba ASP available worldwide:

  • Re: TV TOSHIBA 26EL800A - TV is on, but the screen remains empty

    Hi all

I have a Toshiba TV 26EL800A purchased in May of this year. Tried to turn on the TV using the remote control mode standby (red light) to on (green light) that has the remote control - the screen remains empty (as there is no power) and after a few seconds the light changes again red - standby again.

Tried this using the keys on the TV as well and the same thing (have checked batteries for remote control, checked PowerPoint (my dvd player works the same record 2 and it works) but don't know what else is causing the screen lights?)

    Any suggestions?

I put t really know if you can find the solution here on the computer systems forum.
What you can try is to unplug TV, leave for a while and check again.

If the same thing will happen again and again I recommend to contact your local dealer and ask for help or contact the provider of Toshiba directly.

  • Portege Z830 - stuck on the start screen for Toshiba with fan

I just inherited a very nice z830 Toshiba Portege 10 p. Gradually I was put to use. During this process, I had sometimes trouble with it not to restart and do not get out of hibernation/standby.

He is now in a State where when you turn it on the Toshiba logo appears on the display and the fan goes into overdrive, sounding as if it was about to take off.

I can't boot into the BIOS Setup screen. Although I've already been there and even updated the BIOS.

I got out to check loose connections, dirt and dust and everything seems ok.

What are my next steps or can I only it write?

Research on the Web from Toshiba website it would appear that it is still under warranty:-see below. I wonder if it's bad now.

It is interesting to note that some of the external ports are showing some sign or corrosion if the card mother/battery and other internal parts all seem to be intact.

All thoughts and comments are welcome.

    Thank you.

    Hello
I guess that the guarantee is valid more because you have already disassembled the laptop for cleaning...

Regarding the laptop startup problem: to me, it seems that the issue could be related to the hardware malfunction... If you are not able to access the BIOS and if the laptop freezes all showing the Toshiba logo, then the problem might be related to problems of motherboard...

It seems that the (power self-test) POST cannot be passed correctly and usually this can be caused by the mother (or parts like RAM) dysfunction.

  • Portege 7010CT shows Toshiba logo then the screen goes black

Help! When I turn on the Toshiba logo comes up then the screen goes black and I find myself with a cursor blinking in the upper left corner. Nothing seems to work, keyboard seems locked even though CTRL, ALT & DEL it restarts. Was working perfectly one day, so that the next. Any ideas?

    Hello

You can start the machine in safe mode? Which operating system you are using? Are you using it for a while or is this first boot after installation.

Please write a little more. If you give more info and detailed description, it is easier to understand what may be the problem.

  • Toshiba Places Notifications will appear on the screen

    Hello.

    Can anyone help please?
When I click on the flashing icon for Toshiba Places my notifications appear off the screen (lower-right) and I can't read them.

Maybe you should try to change the display resolution?
Try to set a different resolution and test again.

  • Keeps restarting to the opening screen of Toshiba Satellite L300

My satellite L300 starts with the Toshiba screen and keeps leaving regularly until I see the blue panel of Windows saying please wait... After that the screen goes black, and it shows the opening screen of Toshiba. I tried to go into the system by pressing F2 or F12 but I'm a technical noob and it's way to complicated for me.

According to my sister she has something to do with a faulty download and I need to insert some kind of code in one of the systems (F2 or F12).

Anyone who is familiar with this problem and maybe someone can explain to me how do I solve this problem?

    Thank you!

To start the laptop in safe mode, try to please.
When you turn it on, press F8 to display the advanced startup options. You will find the option of safe mode.

Wait for windows to load. I hope that you will be able to do.

What you can try then is to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore option.

    Please test and send feedback.
