Big disapointement! It's my 4th Toshiba (first back in 1997... and still works!)
My Satellite M30X with 10 years (ok) and my Tecra R840 with 3 years works 24 hours a day from the last August :-)

The las one... a 102 Kira bought las November!
Never had this problem: a task of dust about an inch or two the upper of the screen... but inside the screen!

Now what?
It's really annoying because it's the perfect... Toshiba advertising ultrabook!

To be honest, I never read on the problems of dust inside the display area.
However, the mentioned absence looks like hardware related issue with material in question must be reported to the Toshiba authorized service provider in your country.

In my opinion you should talk to the ASP guys on this problem of dust and probably they will replace the display panel

    It is not possible to say where the dust came into the camera, but the camera is not airtight seal.  I don't have an estimate, I can give you, but if you send the camera to the authorized Service Center, they will provide you with forecasts for your approval before cleaning inside the camera.

    I have a small studio space, so when I have green screen, I always try to do shots I can't answer very well. The most recent example are these shots of my subject by behind. I move the camera more near the end of shooting.

    No matter what I try (rotation of the pen, mask, Matt track tool) I can not understand how to deal with this photo. Roto pen doesn't let me keep green all about my topic. What I'm trying to expand the selection (roto border isn't clean - it is the cut in the edges all around):

    Approach quite wrong. Before composing the images and inside the demo clip away anything outside the green screen using a mask base. Then try to extract a specific string based on the green (effects of use layers or the old base, Keylight not masking effects!) and refine the result using other effects, then apply it as a cache.

  • iMac with flickering of the screen crash

    for two days my iMac starts flashing with green and bright stripes flashing until the screen is 5 cm off to the left. Finally, everything crashes. Sometimes with a blue screen, sometimes with a white screen as a window only to see a very small strip on top.

    I have a Toshiba TV 26EL800A purchased in May of this year. Tried to turn on the TV using the remote control mode standby (red light) to on (green light) that has the remote control - the screen remains empty (as there is no power) and after a few seconds the light changes again red - standby again.

    Tried this using the keys on the TV as well and the same thing (have checked batteries for remote control, checked PowerPoint (my dvd player works the same record 2 and it works) but don't know what else is causing the screen lights?)

    Any suggestions?

    What you can try is to unplug TV, leave for a while and check again.

    If the same thing will happen again and again I recommend to contact your local dealer and ask for help or contact the provider of Toshiba directly.
