  • After that I immigrated from macbook pro, iMac, I can't open the project

I tried to open projects in the external hard drive with the new iMac.  Some of the film clip was't it.  So I moved all my files from the MacBook Pro, iMac and tried again to open the project.  Then error message informs you that the file is used by another account and cannot open.

The account was my account until I immigrated.

    Help, please!

There may be problems with some file permissions.

Around that, the simplest method is to set the "Ignore ownership on this Volume" checkbox

-Select the external hard drive in the Finder

-Press command-I to open the read window information

-If necessary, click the lock and enter your password

-Check the box that says "ignore ownership on this Volume".

  • I can't watch the airplay for HDTV icon mirrored on MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010)

I can view the icon airplay on MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010) for HDTV (trying to film on TV laptop project).

Need help please, I checked my network on Apple TV, updated and verified system preferences and downloaded the demo of AirParrot2.app (this project DID on tv via AirParrot but the movie was uneven and deferred on the tv then sound was not lined up).

    Hi csaszardesign,

    Please visit Apple support communities.

It seems that you are not able to use AirPlay Mirroring of your MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010) to your Apple TV. Some use AirPlay to display video from your Mac to a TV high definition, looks like AirPlay Mirroring requires an Early 2011 or later MacBook Pro:

    Required to use AirPlay

If you go to the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on monitors and do not see the option to "See the mirroring of the options in the menu bar when it is available," your Mac does not meet these requirements.

Minimum requirements if your Mac and Apple TV are on the same network:

Minimum requirements for peer-to-peer AirPlay, which allows visitors to quickly and easily connect their Mac or an iOS device to your Apple TV without getting the passwords and connection to the network Wi - Fi:

For help AirPlay of Quicktime or Safari for your Apple TV, see the instructions and the "Get help" section in use AirPlay to display video from your Mac to a TV high definition.

For the reflection of your Mac on your HD TV, I suggest you to use the TV as an external display by using the Mini DisplayPort connection. The information on these links can help with getting started:

  • Migration of MacBook Pro, iMac

I have a MacBook Pro and go buy an iMac. My laptop has turned slowly despite it fills with RAM and other performance improvements. I'd rather install my cool apps on the iMac vs do a restore from Time Machine? My concern is bringing more "trash" of the laptop.

    Thank you.

Please read carefully and follow the advice to move your content to a new Mac - Apple Support. In my humble OPINION, the best method of migration is when you turn on the computer for the first time. Need other machine Time Machine (clone bootable rescue or) connected to the new machine. Installation Wizard you may be asked if you are a migration, select Yes and follow the on-screen guests, and you'll be fine. For the most reliable connection, use a USB connection, use NOT of Wi - Fi!

  • Of failure, white screen MacBook Pro HARD drive try to boot from the external HARD drive

    Hello

I have a 2008 Macbook Pro which is having some problems, I was able to fix them, but eventually the hard drive failed. I know that because at startup until it would have a white screen Uni (no logo) and you can hear a clicking on in the lower left corner. I thought initially it was a memory problem, but after opening and verification of memory, it's clearly the hard drive.

I solved this problem temporarily (until I can replace the HARD disk) by installing El captain on an external HARD disc and start from that. Here's the twist, I couldn't he can begin to El captain, I tried CMD + R, CMD + OPT + R, CMD + OPT + R + P and now shift. Everything that's happened would be that clicks would cease to release the keys.

I left the macbook on while I'm at work, when I got home it was on the screen to connect the external HARD drive.

I accidentally closed the macbook yesterday and again once when I tried to log on, I could not and I left it on a white screen while I was sleeping. There is a possibility that he may have launched from the HARD drive when I get home, but if not, is there something that escapes me to force do this?

    See you soon

Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

    • Hardware failure
    • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
    • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt
    • A firmware update is necessary

No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.

  • Crack of 1 pixel screen MacBook Pro early 2015

    Hi all

I own a MacBook Pro of the 2015 at the beginning and I recently discovered a problem with the retina display (so-called "gorilla glass").

I only have the MacBook since January this year, and I have recently discovered a small hole about 1 pixel wide screen. It seems that the screen is cracked and I see directly in the hole of the next layer of the screen. At first, I thought it was just some dust and I tried to clean it up, but it did not help.

I did some research and saw that people also had similar problems and sudently woke up seeing these annoying small cracks on the screen.

Here are some videos and pictures of what it looks like:

    https://goo.GL/photos/LthBkUrM9eWDs5qM8

What I'm curious to know, is if this applies to the guarantee and if I can send it to apple so that they can change my screen.

I understand that it looks like it was an accident made by me, but it's not.

I can still use the MacBook, but that little crack is so boring, it's like a distraction.

Anyone apple support can help me with this? The nature of my question is eligible for the guarantee of apple?

You better Genius Bar appointment to show the screen of your MacBook Pro and ask if she applies for warranty.

I think you should pay for the cost of replacement LCD, however.

  • How is it: freezes/different colors of the screen Macbook pro 2012

    Hello

About two weeks, the screen of my mbp has suddenly started to freeze and the screen turned green. After not touching a few hours, it worked like nothing happened.

But since yesterday the same bug reappeared with the screen turning blue!

    The bug looks like this:

A few months ago the tablecloth has been replaced because when I turned on the mbp, kept screen frozen with the Apple logo on the gray screen. I don't know if that is related to this new problem.

Anyone know what could be the problem? If pain or else onboard graphics?

My mbp has the latest update available...

    Thanks for help

  • 2005 failure screen MacBook Pro?

2005 old MacBook Pro Active. But the start screen starts shows the colored vertical lines and large white space in the right corner. Malfunction of equipment with LCD?  I tried methods listed on the support page. Problem persists.

'Impact' point on the lower right part of the screen indicates that the computer was to be abandoned, or that it was something press against the screen, like a finger or something.

It sounds like accidental damage, not a malfunction of the equipment.

I struggled to keep my gmail account synchronized through multiple devices. I mainly use iPhone and iMac and MacBook Pro from time to time. Everything I have read and/or deleted in a single device is not synchronized with the other. I have read several forums, but couldn't find a solution that could solve the problem.

  • Can I connect a macbook pro iMac for Logic Pro mirrored

My main computer is an iMac, running Logic Pro with an external drive for samples and projects in my home "studio". I would like to be able to work on these projects away from the 'studio', in addition to comfort, on my MBP. And then, when the time comes to take my equipment to, say, a recording studio, I could then just take the MBP and external drives, for convenience. What would be the best way to do this?

If everything is on your external drive, then just eject this drive, unplug it, plug it into your MPB, turn it on, work.

  • How to mirror the MacBook Pro w/retina to HDTV via HDMI

The Mac and the TV are connected, but what I get on the TV is simply on my desktop, it does not appear even the desktop icons that I recorded on my desktop and when I open the program it will not display those.  Any help on what to change to fix this would be appreciated.  Thanks Mike

what I get on the TV is simply my office

Then characteristic "Extended desktop" works as expected.

System Preferences > monitors > reorganize

... show you how views are supposed to be placed on your bench. If this is not true, you can drag the icon associated with each view to organize. The mouse moves freely across the border between the displays and can drag a window with it. The implementation of extended desktop is so good that if you drop a window so that the half on each of the two screens, this scrolling window scrolls both portions of "the right way".

If what you really WANT is mirrored, you need only check the box, however - screen resolutions can change something that both can achieve if you do this, so the results can be less than optimal.

  • Problem with screen macbook pro black bar on the left

I'm pretty new to owning a mac.  I went to pick him up today on my mac and the screen was just a bar unique black thumbs on the left side.  Then the rest of the screen changed between white and colors scrambled and now it's pink with mixed green bars.  It changes each time I try to reboot.  The strange part is that when I connect to my TV it works on my TV.  I don't know what to do.

You have a hardware problem that can't be dealt with at an Apple store genius bar or a FSAA.  From your description, there is a problem with the display or display connection.  Make an appointment for a FREE evaluation.
