• Why all the close tab buttons are missing?

  Yesterday, I was using Firefox 25.0.1 without any problem. Today, I launched Firefox, only to discover that the buttons [X] for the tabs have disappeared! Instead, I saw a single button [x] on the right side of the tab bar, that closes the active tab. There is no changes/updates I made to Firefox between yesterday and today. I checked the browser.tabs.closeButtons setting and seen that it is always set to 1. Change it has no effect. What is going on?

  I have this same problem. Firefox 25.0.1 worked well, with tabs as usual, until a few hours ago, when they simply disappeared. As the OP, I have the "Hide Tab Bar with a tab" extension. I disabled it and the ' x was immediately visible once again, so there must be something with the extension itself which causes make them disappear.

  Sure. Buy you them. They are all commercial paper - Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks, Trapcode Form and Shine, GenArts Sapphire, RevisionFX RSMB Digieffects Skew. For some of them, you can get with the demos, but most of them make watermarks / protection overlays. Otherwise, you can find another model that is less heavy on third-party plug-ins.

  It then loads, but doesn't work as it should.   The number of the missing effects changes, but the references ('form') is consistent.  No other effects are included.

  Do you know why this happens?

  I bought VideoHive files, but it happens with 4 our 5 purchased files.  I tried loading them on the two CS5 (-these are versions CS5 effect according to the author)- and also tried to load in the CC. It shows the same error.

• Salvation of struggling to find my effects tab. Can not see my imports;

  I think I should have clicked on something, but I want to just my Adobe Premiere Pro to look as it did when I installed it first.  I can't find my 'effects' tab in the lower left corner, where the 'files' and 'markers' should be.   Use the toolbar (Customize) to open the Customize and set the toolbar to display items.

  • Firefox menu button > Options > toolbars
  • View > toolbars > customize
  • If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
  • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar configuration

  You can find the entry menu import into the Manager of bookmarks (library)

  In the previous version of Firefox, there's a (+) to the right of open tabs. Clicking this button would display the Web pages visited earlier. This button seems to be missing in Firefox v.4.0.1.

  You can find the button new tab showing as a '+' on the tab bar.
  
  You can open the Customize and drag the new tab, button of the toolbar tabs on another toolbar and it will become a regular tools like the new button bar button tab you have in versions of Firefox 3.
  
  If you would like the button tab at the right end of the tab bar then put a hose to the left of it.

  If you don't see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette, then click on the "Restore default" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

  Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize" or "Firefox > Options > toolbars."
