• Half of the missing Lightroom Catalog

  Hi all. Yesterday, I clicked on the "Import an another catalog" command in LR and imported a few photos of my catalog of 2015. It was my first time ever doing this, I usually just catalogs to make changes to the older images.
  After that I did, about half of my pictures, folders and subfolders from my current catalog (2016) disappeared - all or most of them is more recent.
  So far I've tried: restart Lightroom, restarted my computer, then open a different catalog dating back to the current (2016), restart Lightroom again... I also went to the folder on my hard drive where I have all my Lightroom folders and went into the "backups" folder Given the most recent backup is 4 months - and I know for a fact that I backed up several times since 4 months ago! I'm back to Lightroom each week.

  All my work of the past few months disappeared in the air. What is going on?!

  Go to the file menu and then open the new item. Do you see not more than one catalogue listed? Open each of them in order to check them.

  In all honesty LR works best when you use a single catalog for all your images. Then you and LR get confused as to what the images are in this catalogue.

  The error that is in your screenshot it seems you have a problem, corruption, in the current catalog LR 2016 file. Try growing one-Zipping, the most recent backup of the 2016 catalog (which should be not more than a week old. Is that if you have changed the default behavior of the LR Catalog backup system) and see if everything is OK.

  If the catalogue get corrupted then you start to look at a possible hardware problem.

• Lost Lightroom photos library

  My Lightroom library has more than a thousand pictures less then on the drive. When I try to synchronize or import the files missing Lightroom tells me that the images are already in the library. When I search the specific file I know he hasn't. It cannot find in the library.

  1. Click on all of the photographs in the catalog Panel
  2. Disable all filters (once or twice Ctrl-L)

  I have a problem with Lightroom think that pictures are missing, Lightroom is really weird and I hope that there is a way to fix...

  So, let me explain my problem. I reorganized my photos stored on my computer, directly in the Finder on my Mac. When I open Lightroom after the changes, I've linked the missing images. He has worked for almost all of my photos. I have some photos in a collection (it only happens for the photos in a collection) who thinks about Lightroom is missing. But, the exclamation point is not displayed in the upper right of the box in the Library tab like other pictures that were missing. Also, when I try to find photos, Lightroom can't be able to restore the link. I just keep clicking on the location in Finder button when Lightroom told me that the photo is missing, I find the image, click ok, but nothing happens. I'm stuck because I can't edit images in this collection, but on the other hand I don't want to remove from the collection and reimport the photos because I already edited some photos and I don't want to lose the changes that I have made.

  Ah, but as slightly darker gray of the record indicates that LR has no pictures of this issue - which is a 0, it is not the folder that contains the 525.

  Then, right-click to 525 and choose go to folder in the library. This folder has a question mark?

  I had one of my drives go belly up, which had about 1000 images top that had not yet been backed up on my other drives or online storage.  What I'm curious to know, is that I don't have a backup of the lightroom catalog that had these pictures in before the hard drive died.  When I opened this catalog I can see the thumbnails of the images.  Most are small an unusable but some especially those who was RAW files and which were imported in this descent of look catalogue, good enough for the web in any case.  But given that the scans are missing Lightroom dosen't seem to want to export what little data, there in the catalog of miniatures.

  Is it possible to remove the tile friles is the .lrdata file?

  I want to have color in general or for specific parts of an image in LR 6, for example, put Blue zones to red. Can not know how to do this, although I have in the past. Maybe in PS instead?

  There is the adjustment in Lightroom brush, but that doesn't really change blue to red. If you want to really turn blue to red, use Photoshop.

  LR CC and is the new version of creative cloud of Lightroom which includes, among other new features, creating HDR and panorama in Lightroom, brushes for the gradual filter and filter radial, face recognition. It would be installed and more LR 5 because it's a new update that includes new features. It's your choice to uninstall 5 Lightroom or not. When you first run LR CC it prompts you to allow it to update your catalog. This creates a new copy of your catalog in a database format that is required for the new version. 5 Lightroom will be left intact and usable if you want to do. Otherwise, you can feel confident in removing.

• 5 Lightroom adjustment brush has disappeared, just the cursor of the watch. I don't know what size I use. Just happened without reason. Looked in the Pref and there nothing to adjust, etc.

  Just using the adjustment brush in Lightroom 5 on a picture and suddenly the circles brush missing lmao! Cannot find anywhere to return, thought that maybe I hit a button accidentally turning off or something. All I get is the mouse cursor while I use the brush, but I have no idea how the brush is large or where the hell the brush is used! Trying to close the Application and restart as you do, and nothing changes, still no brush.

• Symbol to edit missing to revisit Brush tool: cannot change?

  The brush in Lightroom was the scene properly because I search using some of the tools more advanced (for me, anyway).

  Something changed yesterday, and now I am unable to select again and re - edit brush strokes, once I have move to another image (the gray point, which symbolizes a brush stroke does not appear on the passage of the mouse as it should.)

  Is it a bug, a deep "hide all" activate/disable/key command that I missed or what?

  Any help appreciated, I have a huge group of images with brushes applied before, and I can't see/re-disable to continue editing.

  If the Pin marker is missing key 'h' to reveal, press again to hide.

  For help with editing press the 'o' key to reveal a mask showing the results of your brush strokes.  Press SHIFT - o to scroll through screens of mask.  Press "o" again to return to normal editing mode.

  When you attempt to change a series of photos in the develop module I have problems with Lightroom gel. More precisely if I use the spot removal or adjustment brushes after two or three images, I find myself with a progress indicator of spinning at the bottom right of the image and the screen shows part of the image strong and part of the blurred image (as when loading an image is). It seems that no amount of waiting will lead to progress. All I can do is quit Lightroom and restart. But after a few images that the same thing is happening.

  If anyone else has experienced this?
