• Missing images in the final product - please help!

  I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 to make a video trip to about 18 minutes long. This is my 11th video trip I did and the first time running on this particular problem.

  I have done editing and exported to my usual settings: H.264, 1080 p, VBR 2 Pass audio 320 bit, etc..

  The travel film is 90% video and photos at 10%. In the final product, everything works fine, including audio / music and title stills (above), but SOME shows photo images upward like a blank black screen. Even the video transitions to work, but their transition in a black screen and transitions smoothly into the next video.

  I exported now 5 times total, each time you export taking about 19 to 20 hours. Each time there are DIFFERENT images that are missing. Sometimes the image previously missing will appear in the next export, but the picture that appeared in the previous export is missing in the new. I don't understand why this is happening and I'm beyond frustrated. I'm not about to lose another day without my computer export failure.

  I'm guessing that this has nothing to do with the size of the image, but with the speed/performance of my computer 'old '. I am hoping that there is a way out of this because I spent ten days of working on this video...

  Please help if you know the solution to this problem - maybe I'd appreciate much all tracks!

• Missing files in the pod project manager

  Yesterday I installed RH8 HTML on my new Win 7 computer.  I then copied all my files associated with a specific project over my old Win XP machine.  When I use Windows Explorer to look at a list of all .htm files, I copied, they are all there.  However, when I open the project in RH8 on my new computer and display a list of the .htm files that are in a particular folder in the project manager pod, some of the .htm files are missing.  Curiously, if I open the table of contents for the project and click a topic that refers to one of the 'missing' files, RH8 opens the file and I can modify it in the usual way.  To me, that indicates that the file is really where it is supposed to be and RH8 can find it.  However, the file name is absent the pod project manager.  In addition, when I want to insert a hyperlink, the file name is missing from the list of .htm files, which I can link.  It is a problem, obviously.

  I should note that HR on my old computer is version 8.0.1.204 and HR on my new computer is 8.0.0.203.  Hard to believe that would be the issue, but thought I should mention it.  In addition, files that are not have similar names to files that are not.  For example, reportCheckDataMailmerge is absent, but the reportCheckDataMailmergeSee is not.

  I would be grateful for all the suggested fixes.

  When I "Save as PDF" in the project Final the PDF always uses the wrong font.  In Adobe under fonts there no police Courier Final draft - how he do there?

  Unless the Final project to use a product Adobe to create the pdf file and not it's own pdf generator, you want to ask the support of Final project why font information is not incorporated.

  It could just be a setting in the preferences of final export or it is possible that you are using a font that does not have integration.

  I am very happy with the Final draft of 9. Its cheap (ish), I'm comfortable with it, it's the industry standard. I am aware, he has a lot of mistakes and has a date feel to it.

  What I am curious to know, is if someone has a compelling argument for the use of Adobe Story instead, and if Adobe story is better and easier to use.

  I have not used the Final project almost as much as I used the story, but I really like the story. Currently my editing workflow consists of all Adobe software, so it feels nice to start in it as well. It has many features that are easy to use. You can even import scripts into Premiere Pro and it can search your video for what words are in the script, I think that (is not myself, but I saw in a video earlier).

  Here is a link to a comparison between history and Final project page (it's final draft 8, so there will be differences, and if you did some research on this topic, you have probably visited this site). As you will see, and probably already know, every program has features the other is not and lack also when other software are superior.

  Adobe Story vs Final Draft

  As you said, latest project is the industry standard, but there are several functions in the story that I use all the time that offers no final version of the project. Both are good, it is probably just a personal preference in the end.

• Problems with the missing letters when the combination of Microsoft Word documents

  Hello

  I had a problem which I hope someone can help me with.

  When I combine several documents (9 total, .doc and .pdf files), some words have letters missing - leaving large voids in the words. It seems that, it seems to happen to positions with the font style "Arial (topics)."

  After some research, I realized that others have seen a similar problem and it could be solved in the Adobe PDF printer properties (properties > Preferences > defaults :).) However, after testing a few different settings, nothing seems to be fixing the issue and I will always have the same missing letters in the final document to convert.

  I use Adobe Pro XI - I was wondering if there is a update/fixes for this? I'm on version 11.0.07. For some reason, I am unable to update so I can't verify this.

  This occurs due to the creation of subsets of fonts. Not all letters are available because they may be in subsets of different fonts. Delete the fonts embedded in the pdf file, then re - incorporate fonts.

• Staples are overlapping in the Final product

  I'm having a hard time to describe my problem, so by using the search function is not a solution for me.

  The problem is that clips are overlapping (and underlapping) when they stacked using several tracks on the final product.

  Basically what I do, it's something like the opening credits Brady Bunch, you know where they have a clip of profile of all nine characters all in a single view. 

  I do something a little more basic with 4 clips playing at the same time, so I have four tracks and each track has a clip. PE monitor displays the alignment clips just as I want then. the edges of each element are perfectly butted against each other (at least on the PE monitor). When I record and see the final project as a .avi or mpeg video clips are aligned is more correctly. Clips seem to drift on the center of the lines from afar or drifting out. Some of the clips I resized and cropped, so it has the view on the monitor of PE.

  I noticed this problem going on with my titles too. Where I positioned title element on a certain location of the video below him, but the final product the title moves upwards or downwards.

  Maybe this has something to do with the aspect ratio of 720 x 480 PE monitor and the proportions of my final product (wide ntsc), but I can't seem to wrap my brain around it. The pictures I use is 720 p 60 fps of a GoPro camera.

  Good luck on getting the FACE to match. That should take care of things for you - at least hoping that.

  When I do PEP fixtures, I usually do grids of alignment to contribute to this process. In your case, it seems that you are in stop your matrix 2 x 2 clips, this probably isn't necessary. Yet, here is an ARTICLE on the grids of the alignment. In the end, I added a bit more on the alignment of the PiP.

• CHW files are required in the merged projects?

  I feel a little frustration here and I hope that you can help out me. I have two main projects, a very large and the other more. Each master project has subprojects merged with them. I pledge my CHM regularly and generates files associated with Subversion for the 'master to build' can add to the various product test (and ultimately the production relies). Is one of the types of files that I was including the. CHW file type. It is my understanding that it is a file type required for the final project to display all of the keywords all merged projects index.
  
  I have one of the developers who said that this type of file was never included in any of the memories of my predecessor before and it don't think it's necessary. I thought of compiling a project of merge and delete the. File CHW to see what is happening, but there must be an easier way.

  My understanding is that the CHW file is created only when a merged CHM is opened. If a user opens a merged CHM, CHW file is created, because it contains the merged index. So it is not necessary to be placed in a source control database, or be supplied with the application.

  You could test this by installing your CHM merged on another PC, then open it. You should see a CHW file that is created in the same directory.

  What you suggest is possible but it takes software and third-party quality loss.

  Instead, export a QuickTIme movie. If you have a choice of codecs, choose Apple Intermediate Codec. You can save it where you want it-maybe in the movies.

  Then import the movie into FCP as a clip.

I would like to make photos and videos I use.   I think that this video might be too big? not sure... also, all files have the same name and in the same folder that I shot, I'm in a block, any help appreciated! • 8-bit project, no banding in preview / rendering individual frames, but bands occurs on the final rendering.

  I work with 8-bit video that must be highly classified and darkened.

  While I was working on, I noticed when I step in the timeline and stop to look at a framework, strips are produced, but as soon as I change a setting of one of the effects of one of my adjustment layers, banding goes and everything is mixed smoothly.

  When I visited on an image preview of the same section, the output is well mixed too.

  However, when I visited the final video coder via media, banding is back and very hard.

  Why is this happening? If I'm in 8 bit mode, why and how is after effects able to show me these perfectly mixed previews not banded?

  Bands will arrive in 8-bit images if there not enough space in the color values to make the transitions smooth. For example, if you have a blue gradient which covers 250 pixels and blue 200 to 250 changes in value you will have to 10 bands of color in the gradient. If your preview is full resolution and magnification factor is 100% you will see bands if you look closely. When you return to compression MPEG problem strips is increasing especially in areas smooth transitions of color because very large blocks of pixels are averaged together and you get only a few images of the color information that represent the actual pixels in the project. You can try to improve the color of artifacts in Adobe Meida encode by checking the high quality in color options and you can also reduce color artifacts by activating multi pass rendering and increase the flow of data a bit.

  The best practice is to add some noise to the shooting so the MPEG compression more data that evolves to work with. This will tend to hide the strips by decomposing generally straight between the color values.

  If you do heavy color of ranking you should show your project to 16 or 32 bit color still better. This will remove strips in 8-bit images. Unless you have a little bit of 10 or better track and a GPU capable of driving, it is really hard to judge bands by watching a preview of the model. The info panel should show the information of the right color, but it is very difficult to actually see in the monitor, especially if you're judging a frame to nothing less than full resolution and 100%. The perfectly blended frames are probably artifacts or your eye is fooled. Purge the cache of the images to see exactly what is happening in the framework. Depending on your graphics card may be fouling up previews trying to create previews of superior quality that actually exist preferences. You could also get some funky video original data if the source is a highly compressed MPEG stream. The CPU can also add to preview search OK when the values aren't really there because on average it is the small amount of color and luminance values in the 'master' frames and frames him "gee I'm not really a framework but here is a bit of data on where I think that pixels will". Don't forget that the I'm not really a frame number box frames by 2 or 4 to one. Actual color even in real managers information can be compressed on average in large blocks as well.   Go to/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6/Configuration/Menus/menus.bak

  You will see a menus.xml file here - it is a backup copy of the actual menus.xml file that uses DW.

  Copy it from this folder, paste 1 level above (in the file menu).

  Launch DW. See if it works.

• I need to know how to connect to various projects in the final cut - please help!

  Here's my situation:

  I'm editing a film, but I've been putting each scene together individually. I have a different file for each scene, and sometimes even small parts of a scene have been published in a separate file. Now I need to rebuild, but I don't know how. I'm a beginner with this, I have only a knowledge base first. I don't understand all the technical stuff. It was hard to even this word correctly, so I couldn't just look for an answer.

  My original idea was to export all the separate scenes and then put those video files in a project, but that has not worked. The size of the video that is too small. It only took half of the preview screen. Again, it is difficult to really explain what I mean, since I don't know the technical term for it.   2. Create a new project.
  3. Go to FILE > IMPORT
  4. Select choice
     1. The entire folder where your projects (so step 1) or,
     2. You want to make individual projects
  5. Drag and drop what you want an Encoder master timeline in the new project and
  6. Sell your film.

  I have looked for a solution all over but can't find any solution. I really hope someone here can help me.

  I have produced a song myself and now want to add some video clips and then send the final product on YouTube. The music file I imported to FCPX is 48 kHz, 16 bit Wav. Everthing sounds good in the FCPX scenario. In addition, the music file sounds good in iTunes.

  The problem occurs when the final product is exported from FCPX. After export, the sound becomes deaf. Other things also happens to the song. For example: in the intro, I have a trap of working capital. At the end of each measurement, I a harder drum hit. When that hit the drum, the volume of the snare is declining. What is happening not in iTunes. This destroys the sound and is a bit frustrating.

  I tried to export with all the different parameters, that I can find. The same issue occur in iMovie.

  The noise level is not above 0 dB and are never in the Red tip in FCPX.

  I also tried to put the level-12 dB and export the project. Subsequently, the overall volume is too low and the problem persist.

  Hope someone out there have a solution.
