Missing Panel on the right

Two problems really-first I don't know how, but two versions of Photoshop are on my computer 14.2.1 x 64 which works fine and 15.2.2 who has all of a sudden the right panel with layers & missing histogram. I tried to reboot, reset the workspace, but no help. I'm subscribed to CC so I wouldn't mind simply remove that but it seemed that it was a new version and I don't want to live things anymore, I don't have good luck when I'm kidding on the computer. This is why I never deleted the extra version in the first place, opened by Lightroom version and the other when opening a file in a folder. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

In the list window, you checked histogram and layers, and they did not?

Try this:

In the Options bar, course on the extreme right is a field that looks like this:

Click on the double arrow and choose photography. If the histogram and layers still do not appear, it may be time to reset your preferences.

To reset the preferences:

If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close (Quit). Then press and hold Shift + Ctrl + Alt (Win) / command + shift + Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.

A dialog box appears asking if you want to delete the preferences file existing ("settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing preferences file will be discarded and a new one will be created.

    Hi Hcheryl,

You can always reset the workspace, or you can click the window option in the menu bar and then click on the layers and other panels you would like to see.

  • Why can I not see details of the metadata in the panels to the right edge in the workspace "Essentials"?

After using the bridge successfully for years, a weird problem occur. When I use my usual way, by using the workspace Essentials or a personalized version of this, I cannot see the metadata information (or sees only partially) nested inside each of the tabs - file properties to the Exif camera data to alter history.

See the screenshots below. It seems that the formatting has been changed to align with the right side instead of the usual left edge which moves when the Panel is moved from the text. I've done the obvious things but did not a complete uninstall/reinstall, partly because I can't take the time or the risk other problems right now. I use CS6 now; the next step will be to CC.  Anyone has any suggestions for a fix of the reinstall? Thank you!

    That's what I have now:

    1 Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 11.36.05 AM.jpg

I can pull the right panel window much more to the left to reveal all the metadata, but I lose all real estate for the thumbnails. This is clearly a sign of something wrong:

    2 Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 11.36.35 AM.jpg

It's what I used to see, and what I expect to see:

    3 Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 3.48.22 PM Layout Mac.jpg

I don't know otherwise how can I phrase it, but I'll have one more try...

You expand the Panel by dragging the border of the Panel, so you can see the two columns of text in the metadata Panel.

Then, place the cursor on the small space between the two columns of text in the metadata Panel, NOT the border of the Panel. The cursor turns into a bar with arrows. If you drag it to the left, the left column should get closer and the wider right column.

When the left column is the right size, take the edge of the Panel and reduce it to its original size. The right column of the metadata text must always be visible because the left column is smaller.

    I'm all out of words.

  • Can I anchor the game style of new tools from dev to the right of the window as they were before?

In previous versions of Firefox, the dev tools had on background HTML and styles on the right. Now everything is anchored at the bottom of the screen. • Dreamweaver cm³ panels on the left?

I decided to go to Dr. CC since we have the possibility, but I can't find how to move the panels to the right to the left.  Who, after 15 years or more (return of Homesite), I'm so used to this is a big one for me.  CS6 has available to encode, but CC does not work.  There are rather simple, but I can't find a way to anchor panels to the left?  Is it possible or are we forced to accept right than the standard panels?

    Thank you

Click and drag the tabs (name) of the windows to the edges of the screen to help relocate them. When the edge highlights, you drop them in place. You can stack on each other by dragging the tab to the bottom of another Panel and release when the edge of the Panel highlights.

EDIT: once you have them where you want, you can choose window > layout workspace > new workspace to give him a name, or save current crush no matter what you are in.

  • Icon missing Java in the Panel

    I updated Java software.
Went to the control panel and found the missing Java icon.
How I get it, or how to clear cache Java without it?

What happens if you try to manually start the Java Control Panel applet?

Click Start, run, and in the box enter (or copy and paste):

    C:\windows\system32\javacpl.cpl %SystemRoot%\system32\

    Click OK.

Open the Java Control Panel?  If this is not the case, what happens?

Looking at your list of control panel of things, right-click on the icon and choose "Sort by name" reorganize the Panel list in alphabetical order.  Could be your icon Java hides at the bottom of the list and is just out of sight.

"Sort by name" also works in your startup, programs list too."

    Keep things tidy.
