• How to download missing songs

  Hi guys

  This morning I noticed he was missing a song in an album that I bought. When I go into the iTunes app on my phone and get the album (Sixx AM, prayers for the Damned) it shows all the songs, 9/11 of them are downloaded and those missing are "bought", (#4 and #8) However when I go into my purchases to download, they are simply not there. Not in the iTunes application, not in my music (with all the selected music show) there is no place I can click or know where I can download them. I rebooted my phone and soft reset it too. But this isn't just my phone. My iPad is also not showing the same two songs. How can we get these songs?

  I'll look into it, but clearly it's hogwash f I need some sort of 3rd party software and edit the files just to play an mp3 on an mp3 player! Not to buy another player from sandisk. Too bad, I did not read these issues before leaving with my money.

  An account is simply a username and password with which you buy content.

  Your library will only be where you put it.

  All purchases will be always related to the account for which it was purchased.  You cannot combine accounts.

  If you need to redownload your iTunes purchases, then you will need to connect with each of the accounts and download.

  You should be back up all of your content.  Just use your backup copy of everything move.

  Unless you subscribe to iTunes game you or Apple music you will not see your store purchases when you install iTunes on a new computer. See your iTunes backup for Windows with SyncToy library for one to save the library on the first computer, and then restore the library to another.

  I've downloaded Pink Floyd - The Wall on the iTunes store. The album consists of 26 songs, but only 25 downloaded. Track "1-04 of the happiest days of our lives". I have synced my phone to my PC, under the latest version of iTunes. I can't get the song downloaded on my PC although it shows than purchased.

• Songs missing in iCloud

  I bought an album containing 20 songs from back in 2012.  The reception in iTunes confirms 20 songs.   However, when I look under "purchased" in iTunes, I don't see that 14 songs.  Also, I can only download 14 songs on the new features.  I remember very well being able to play all 20 songs for a while.  So either my list of "bought" in the cloud has been corrupted at some point or Apple no longer has the missing songs (in which case I'm afraid there is not much I can do).  The album is no longer in the iTunes store.

  Fortunately, I still snapshots and backups of the album original 20-song, but I still want to solve this problem.

• How to restore Drive Backup iTunes songs

  I removed the 10.11.6 OSX from my MacBook Pro to mid-2012, then restored, but my content has been removed for the most part. I was able to restore individual files from my external backup drive, but almost all of my iTunes songs have disappeared. The few that I purchased from iTunes store are only those remaining. How can I find the missing songs and playlists on the backup and restore on iTunes? I searched 'mp3', album and artist name and no luck.

  If your music is missing from your iPhone, there are several ways that you can restore the music on the device.

  If you connect the iPhone to your computer, you can synchronize any songs you want from your iTunes for your iPhone.   You can also download your purchases passed directly to the iPhone.

  Looks like Apple's music subscription has expired, but you can check the status in iTunes.  The resources below will explain these steps in more detail.

  I checked the other similar discussions and I can find none, that has the same problem as mine.

  Anyway... my iTunes is updated and therefore my iPhone 5 s.

  I've always used automatically add them to the iTunes folder to add music from my iTunes library.

  (after that music has been transferred to the ' automatiquementala file it IMMEDIATELY disappeared, but the song was in the iTunes library)

  One day, as I noticed a few circles on the left side of my songs in the iLibrary. These songs were not playable, and whenever I

  sync my phone I got (100errors) that the songs could not be transferred to my phone. (Song couldnot be used because the original file cannot be found. You want to locate)

  Even if I wanted to move each song, I would choose the automatically add to iTunes folder (BUT ITS EMPTY). I can't find the music anywhere on my hard drive.

  I gave up those songs and decided to download again them once I find the time.

  Recently, I backed up and restored my iPhone 5 s. After I restore, I noticed that a lot of my songs did not appear on her

  The folder add automatically to iTunes acts as an area of "file" for users (and other software).  When the files are placed in add it automatically to iTunes they will be handled by iTunes (immediately if it is currently running, otherwise next time that he istarted) and added to the iTunes library.  The files placed in add automatically to iTunes will be moved to the standard locations within the structure of library iTunes, determined by:

  • the iTunes Media folder location setting in Edit > Preferences > advanced, and
  • the values of metadata in media files are added.

  If you use the default location of folder media (C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media) then your files will be moved to folders named according to this model:

  • C:\Users\ username \Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\ artist \ album

  The only exception to this is the case where the indicator 'Part of a compilation' is defined in the media files - the names of standard folders will then be:

  • C:\Users\ username \Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Compilations\ album

  If you have selected the option "organize files...". "in Edit > Preferences > advanced files, if necessary, is renamed to use the disc number, track number and the name of the song as a basis for file names.  Very long folder/file names will be truncated to 36 characters (which can have strange side effects if you have two albums whose names only differ after that limit exceeded - you end up with a folder containing two album titles).

  After the addition of new media in your library, the add automatically to iTunes folder must be empty: the only exception is when the media files are in a format that iTunes cannot handle or the files are corrupt: in this case, you will see a subfolder "not added".

  In your case, it seems more likely that the files have been added to your iTunes library you or another piece of software has moved or renamed multimedia files, or that the disk on which the files were placed is no longer available on iTunes.  If you can post (using screenshots of preference):

  • Your settings in Edition > Preferences > advanced
  • The location held by iTunes for one of the tracks that cannot be located (for this, right click on one of the songs display next to his name, select Get Info, when you see this message (of course with the name of your song "disappeared")):
  
  
  Click on no, then click on the file tab - the location information that is held in the iTunes database will appear at the end of the list in the window, starting with "file://localhost", like this:

  I bought a few songs via my iphone years (via itunes) and I can't find the files on my PC (windows 10). I've already tried

  "File > devices > transfer purchases"[device name]"- twice - and it did not work." they appear in itunes (office) or my music folders. I checked to make sure that these were in fact on my phone and not only in the cloud. they are.

  I'm afraid sync my phone now. I don't want to lose all the songs. they were purchased legitimately, I should get to have the files.

  (update: also, I went to the itunes store (office) and found the missing songs under "bought"., but there is no icon of clouds, little "Download" beside them. seriously, these files are still on my phone, I can play them. apple knows that I have purchased. they do not seem to give me a way to re-download them.)

  I never use itunes to buy a song once again. Ugh.

  OK, I finally solved it.  Because the song was still in my library (with the little exclamation "missing" next to it), itunes wouldn't let me to re - download. so I deleted it. Then I could go to "purchased" in the itunes store and finally re - download the song. Ugh, it's so boring, but I'm happy that I found the solution!

  (PS: I've also learned that if the song is no longer available on the itunes store, you can not download. that does not apply to me, but it might shed some light for others.)
